Edit 2: i sware this thread has the flu... it hardly moved this slow since i've been here

its because the thread has ran out of pictures, fanfic and fanart. The tumblr has slowed down alot i haven't seen ahrdly any new fanfic or stories  

For one, we got in trouble to posting too much.  

You can see in both mediums that some was the artist working through the emotional void of the stock endings to create a catharsis.  I'm guessing some people who have wrote FanFic and created artwork have moved on now.  Others are probably waiting on the EC.
I have problems drawing a straight light so artwork is out for me, but I could maybe wrote a little fanfic but I've never done anything like it before so most likely stuck.

Nice, I've liked the ones you've done so far even though I don't play FemSheps.   I am thinking of rolling a "Honor Shepard" since I'm a fan of the Honor Harrington book series.

I wasn't pointing fingers nor just talking about your post as there was one a day-or-so before yours.   "Trouble" was probably the wrong word.   How about a "Request to keep posts relevant to Kaidan discussion" as we do tend to go off on tangents at times.   Sound better?  

Honor Harrington is the protagonist in a series of books by David Weber.  Honorverse is used now since is a "main sereis" and "side series" of books.   They aren't heavy SciFi and are all a good easy and fun read.   Some people I've introduced to the series have isues with a female protagonists. (eyeroll)   I myself do not, even though I'm a male I've always had very strong women in my life.  

If you have a eReader you can get the books from the publisher (http://www.baen.com/) direct for abougt $5 per book.   They even have/had a few of them free on their site last I checked.

I hope you like HH series as much as I do. Let me know what you think!  The first book is a bunch of character development and kind of slow so don't judge the whole series off that one book.  I didn't really get into the series until book 3 "A Short Victorious War".   I didn't think most here would have a problem with a female protagonist but thought I'd mention it.  

I doubt you scared anyone away, in the short time I've posted in this thread, I've made some friends and sometimes we'd go off on tangents.   So a "request" isn't bad now and then if we do.

My Shepard and her Kaidan are retiring on the beach with Garrus and living off the profits of the vids.  She is so done taking care of everyone for a bit.  She is taking some much needed "her" time. She has a bar in Rio to visit with Jacob and drinks are owed to her by Kasumi.  She is going to collect.

Yup, same for mine. She'd sipping drinks on the beach with big ass reaper parts sticking out of the water on the horizon. And she would love that view.

@leborum : Not scary, I actually posted after not doing it in a month (or likely more), I tend to lurk.  Of course I was also inspired by the evil mutant dandilions .   Now the image of Shepard cursing and shooting them will get me through it if I have to do it again since I ran out of mulch.

In my "happy" head canon it's similar.  After Shepard is *finally* released from the hospital he and Kaidan throw a big beach party for the Normandy crew.   There is too much destruction for Shepard to "retire" totally and after the celibration Shepard & Kaidan spend time together helping in the recovery/rebuilt effort on Earth.

Thanks for the Honor Harrington rec. I've been reading a lot of hard-sci fi lately and am about ready for a good space opera. I'm finding it increasingly hard for Crazy!Shep to have a good time as I wind down ME2 in The Double. I've stalled on the "dead" Reaper because, really, the possible loss of control would terrify her. At least I'll get Legion for a little comic relief and Kaidan can console her. Ah, the joys of AU.
