and some such etc. etc.
Now. i had a really good question about "what would Kaidan do if..." but for the life of me i've forgotten and it's annoying me
Edit: seems like my night vision failed

I agree that there should have been something done after Thessia, drove me nuts that it seems everyone BUT Kaidan was concerned... /sighTiberis wrote...
This is what should have happened after Thessia! Why couldn't Shepard show his true grief in game with Kaidan consoling him?!

I've read Hamilton, at least the Commonwealth Saga. I'll look up Ms. Huff, too! After the Sword of Truth series I got pretty burned out on fantasy so I've been working my way through that section of the library.Kunari801 wrote...

Thanks for the Honor Harrington rec. I've been reading a lot of hard-sci fi lately and am about ready for a good space opera....

Doodle, was it "What would Kaidan do when he found his picture sitting on Shepard's desk?" Besides melt, that is.
Kyria, I still don't understand why everyone is so worried after Thessia but no one notices if Shepard loses Tali and Legion and kill all of the Quarians. I wasand back on the Normandy no one said a word.

No that wasn't it... yet i still can't remember it....
and Mass effect 3 Zaeed style chat makes me mad...
and they need to add extra parts to the story dialog wise for things like Thessia and what you just said, it's awefully bad nobody says anything about loosing Tali/Legion/Thane etc etc.
My apologies, I never lost Tali or the Quarians or the Geth (always managed to broker peace) so I forgot about that, I agree that should be the same, people should notice that Shepard is probably going to be upset, especially his/her LI.legbamel wrote...

Tali gets drunk after that mission even if you don't loose Miranda... I've never lost Miranda but gotten the Tali scene every time.chibievil wrote...

The auto-dialog drove me absolutely insane... I wanted more interaction not they said you said, I wanted to interact with my crew.Kunari801 wrote...
"Zaeed style chat" that's a great term for it and yes, it needs to go, it's more annoying than the auto-dialog.

I've always (so far) saved both Quarians & Geth, but yes, that should be mentioned if one is lost. My current Shepard "Niko" is mostly Renegade and will not be able to save both (sorry Geth) same with Genophage cure. I'm just got him off Mars (after restarting the character multiple times over the weekend). I restarted him so many times becuase I couldn't find custom face I liked and once because I didn't like the Soldier class.
Come to find out (late Sunday) that since I play on PC I could have used the Gibbed editor to change both!!!
/feels dumb now
What drove me nuts was that they were concerned about Liara, not Shepard. I was bummed after Thessia. Not because Thessia fell, since Earth, Palaven, and who knows how many other planets had already been taken by the reapers, but because I failed to get the VI. But all anyone could talk about was how sad Liara was. I was worried for here in ME1 after Benezia, but come on, we're in a galactic war here. Everyone's taking losses, let's stop worrying about one planet, and try to save the rest of them. To be fair, it seemed like BW was trying to convey that what happened on Thessia was more severe than other planets, but it really really didn't come across. At least I didn't get it.Kyria Nyriese wrote...

Agreed. Of course it would be less irritating if everyone said awesome stuff like Zaeed did. I'm looking at you Tali "I can't believe the Geth are helping my people rebuild Rannoch" Zorah. Find something else to talk about already. Of course Kaidan only had 1 or 2 good ones. I think Garrus won the mini-chat competition.Kunari801 wrote...

I think my mind just went somewhere it shouldn't have. *evil grin*legbamel wrote...
At least the auto-dialogue is better than the utter refusal to speak to you at all in the first two games. If Kaidan had said "I don't want to take up too much of your time, Commander" one more time I swear I'd have turned him over my knee.

If anything this Shepard is Rene-gon (sp?) or however they spell that one. Mostly Renegade, he turned over Legion and Collector base to TIM. He also doesn't trust the Geth at all.
My other Sheps are all various levels of Paragon and saved both, at least until FRACKING Star-brat and his RBG ending.

I liked that I could still approach Kaidan though. Instead of just watching him sit on his bench or whatever. I get that there's probably the same amount of dialogue, but it felt more intimate. Like I *loved* that in DA:O you could talk to your followers whenver, and even make out with Alistair in public. I kind of bothered me that I just had to stand in the corner of the room and stare at Kaidan like a creeper instead of talking to him face to face.

I was awfully surprised, having played DA:O first that there was only one night with Kaidan in Mass Effect and that you couldn't haul him in for a big smooch right in the middle of the battle for the Citadel. Once I found out I could do that with Alistair I looked for the least appropriate situations just to add to the entertainment value. "We just killed fourteen ogres on our way across Denerim? That warrants a celebration!"
Nope, Alistair is voiced by the delectable Steve Valentine.Kunari801 wrote...

I too think the "Z-style" dialog (Yes I shortened the name) feels less intimate than the ME1 & ME2 style crew chat system.
Ok... now I must play DA:O. I heared Alistair is same VA as Kaidan and I think I heard a rumor you could romance him even as a male.
