ME3 is still fun to play up to London or TIM's base.  I've been importing my saves now, it took me like a month to get the ambition to replay any ME3 but once I got in it was fun again as long as you head canon a satisfying ending for yourslef.  The Epilogue link in my sig helped me.

I just finished my Renegade Shepard today, subjected myself to the ending again becuase the rumor says the two Shep VA's mixed together with a 3rd voice make up the Star-Brat.   It could be true, it does sound like a mix of more than one voice.    :crying: Anderson's death...   :crying: destroying the Relays & Citadel.. and :crying::crying::crying: and loosing my Shepard.

IMO, ME3 begins to fall apart during and after the Thessia mission. Otherwise, everything else about the game I enjoy; though I obviously would like there to be more!

For FYL, I don't see 52 and 53.

I'm kind of uncomfortable with the fact that it was Mac Walters who wrote the Mars bit -- while it was actually pretty good, it's just that being separated from Kaidan had me flinging bricks at Bioware.
"I did not wait that long to be separated again! BRICK! BRICK!"

Oh wait, actually, that probably explains Liara being pissy with me when I was talking about Kaidan.

Dear Kaidan thread: While I have not frequented you enough, he was my first Mass Effect romance and is so up there in the favorites (with Garrus and Thane). And my second ME3 Shepard is Kaidan loyal.

Anyway. I thought I'd bring you an offering and something that amused me.

Shepard attempts THE SMOLDER. Shirtless Kaidan has that effect on people.

The not being separated, yeah, I feel that. Oh my god. It's like "YAY! KAIDAN MY BESTIE/BOYTOY IS BA.... Wut? No! Gimme back.... *sad grabby hands*" I'm going to have to see how fast I can get him back. Apropos of that... Can I save Grissom Academy until I have Kaidan back on the team, or do I kill off Jack and the kids if I don't book it over there?

But i do hope Kaidan gets a dlc, If stupid liara gets a dlc in me2 even tho she aint part of the Squad then Cutey lovely Kaidan should too

You are someone after my own heart. I had this discussion with a young lady last night. I don't think either of us really hate Liara per se. But we do think she's like the golden child and she even got her very own mission in ME2 and you get that "moment" with her. Meh. This is why I call shenanigans!  :D

I really do like Liara, but across all three games, romancing someone else or not, I've felt waaaaayy too many moments of feeling like I was constantly being nudged and told "No! Don't romance that person, romance Liara! That's the right way to go!" than I should of felt. Even after watching her ME3 romance scene, I felt like the most effort was put into it. All were great, but hers seemed that an extra oomph was put into it.

Not to mention having to listen to my boyfriend go on about Liara for days everytime we talked on the phone and interrupt me speaking to ask where he could find Liara on the Citadel about four seperate times because he fails at using navigation buttons.
Or asking me how he could "do things" to with her.
The act of making sure unique and undivided attention was given to a pixelated character surpassed even myself in this case.
It was cute at first, Liara is awesome, but I think I got my dosage of Liara for this year hahaha

Does the EMS 'lock' in after you start the Cerberus mission? I have save which I want to use for the EC that has over 5000 EMS but I probably wont play MP for while.

Yeah, that's where lock happens, after that you still may increase your EMS via rating, but TMS are fixed at that point (last thing you get is a human reaper's part depending on what you did to collector's base). But I'm not sure about MP char promotional assets, probably, you can add those after Cerberus as well (but before starting Earth) - all I know is that those count for all single campaigns once you achieve them.

I'm now in about 2\\3 of ME2 (past Horizon and collector's ship, Illium in progress, Touchanka and some loyality misions left), this time with no rush to import into ME3 at all, exploring all the N7s side missions and going to get SB and Arrival DLC (I did not have them yet, probably will get overlord too), so it will add couple of hours to my play and some time for BW to finish their EC. If I finish ME2 earlier...No, don't think I can make a ME3 replay. Not even for Kaidan. Not even to see how geth-quarian peace looks like (In my first run, which I think to keep as "canon" one, I had Tali dead, which made it impossible)...On the other hand- making peace with them knowing that little things in the world may change your final choice from red...feels a bit... unfair.

This worked perfect for me and was suggested here by someone else:
Get Kaidan As Squad Early  ...I did the Rachni without Kaidan this time through - first time through I left it for when he was with me and he did not have much to say. So I did Rachni, every single side questy thing before Tuchanka, then I did the genophage cure, then citadel coup, then I had Kaidan with me for the platoon and bomb missions. Take him with anyone non-Garrus and you get some great Kaidan lines. But if you have Garrus, Kaidan is much more silent...
There is converstations in Engineering between Ken & Gabby, Engineer Adams, and Tali/Garrus that you miss unless Ash is the VS.    If you are on PC it's an easy fix:  Use Gibbed to edit Integer10330 to 8 only to fix

Haha, nice! All my Shepard seems to give Kaidan is a mountain of derpface. After you rescue the Cerberus scientists, during the convo you have with Kaidan he mentions maybe practicing flirting on Shepard and she's just like ".... "

I dunno about ManShep, but they really messed up the eye animations on FemShep. Half the time her irises are halfway into her skull. *facepalm*

Exactly.  I never got ninjamanced by Liara in ME1, because I felt like every time I turned around I was supposed to be romancing Liara.   They made it too easy, like there were lights on the SR-1s floor to her room.  In the event of emergency, follow the lighted pathway to the nearest alien hottie.  Wheras with Kaidan, there was a moment during my first playthrough where I had to check the wiki to confirm he was actually romanceable because things were moving a little too slow for me.

And sorry about the boyfriend.  That has to get old.

Eye animation on FemShep seems to me the last and least of things they messed up about ME3\\MEU, I'd say...

Nope, I'm playing it right now. :D

Was having problems with my gamertag, wasn't attached to my account but when I did retrieve password on it it said it was linked to my account and then when I tried to get it fixed the CS people were giving me the runaround, so I couldn't post here. Haven't got it fixed, but I made a new gamertag just so I could register my ME3 and post here again.

Of course, but that doesn't stop it from being so annoyingly distracting. Like the first convo with Cortez, he turns around and Shepard looks like she's checking out his rear, but her irises end up halfway into her head, so it looks weird. Same thing when she's talking to Hackett on the shuttle. Just another sign the game was rushed. *shrug*

Male Shep eye animations seem to work fine, and what's wrong with Cortez's rear?

Absolutely nothing is wrong with Cortez's rear, Shep would be a fool not to check it out.  The problem is that sometimes when FemShep looks down (or up), her eye animations are off, so it doesn't look right. I'm on XBox, otherwise I'd have screenshots handy.

Haha, it wasn't such a big deal.
He got it out of his system after a couple days and finished the game
Then he spent the whole time wtfing at the ending.

Green Kaidan?
Synthesis ending creeps me out.
Are bodily fluids now oil and grease or something? I thought that.

yeah it's a little freaky, but I don't think it's oil and stuff. People seem to think everyone got metalized but I don't think that's how the devs want to portray it. But since no one has ever seen a synthetic-organic hybrid either so we gotta stick with the concept. The visual representation is a bit of an add but seems like it's very misleading.

But I'm intrigued by glowy green Kaidan. Glowy works for him. ;-)
