I can also say, not joking, that I feel bad for the Liaramancers. Everyone gets all these Liara scenes that should have been just for the romancers, IMO. Giving them to everyone sort of shafts the Liaramancers of special content, considering how half the time I go see her she gives me auto-dialogue to come back later or something.

So, I was wondering...how many of us that have romanced Kaidan have romanced someone else as well?  I had 8 play throughs ready for ME3 on the Xbox, only ended up doing 2 of them.  All of them had romanced Kaidan and stayed faithful to him except one who romanced Garrus in ME2 and stayed with Garrus for ME3.

On the PC I've played through 2 times.  One with a faithful Kaidan play through and one with the Garrus romance again.

What is your absolute favorite scene with Kaidan out of all three games?

I have about 5 Shepards, imported three of them now.  
Once I discovered the ME1 "hack" I made a Shep to romance Kaidan and stay faithful into ME3.  

Kunari = Celebate in ME1, Miranda in ME2, then romanced Kaidan in ME3
Alan = Romanced Kaidan in ME1 and ME3
Niko = Romanced Cortz in ME3

I haven't loaded my Shep that romanced Miranda & Liara in ME2 in a new-game-plus so not sure which would count.   So that means Jason and Rafe Shepard.  Then I'm thining of new FemShep.  

Yes, I'm a sucker for a Aussie accent.

That's the thing that hooked me on Kaidan from my first run. I just went, "D'awwwwwwwwww."

As for the Virmire pic, those manbasket armors get me every time. SO much sexier, if less sensible.

Ellyria Shepard: Romanced Thane (started ME3, unfinished)
Taryn Shepard: Romanced Kaidan (started ME3, unfinished)
Chylise Shepard: Romanced Kaidan then Jacob (never finished ME2) 
ME3 Non-Import Shepard: Romanced Kaidan (finished)
Some Random Import Who's Name I Forget: Romanced Garrus (never finished ME2)


I've been through ME1 about 3 times with my top three imported gals. ME2 isn't as fun for me, it's not just the lack of Kaidan, I dunno, it just feels like the majority of the time I'm a recruiter and fetcher, not a universe saver. 


Favorite scene? Hands down the shy, half smile he gives after Eden Prime.

Kaidan: I got too close to the beacon, must have triggered it somehow. You had to pull me out of the way.
Shepard: You had no idea what would happen.
Kaidan: *half smile*
Me: Is he romanceable? Tell me he's romanceable! *runs to computer and googles ME1*

I also think it's kinda odd, story-wise, to see Kaidan appear so early as a date on the citadel.

As for my favorite Kaidan moment?  There are a lot, but this one just happened to me recently... so it's definitely that part when he asks you why you didn't wake him before you left.  It happened after one of the Rannoch missions for me.  I just loved everything that line implied!

Also, I only ever got 3 Shepards to Mass Effect 3, and all three of them romanced Kaidan.

All three were male Shep: one was celibate all the way until 3, one romanced Liara in 1&2 then switched to Kaidan in 3, and then the other was modded to have romanced Kaidan since ME1. If you ask me, I liked playing the Shepard that was celibate all the way until 3. :]

But I ached for Kadian too so I was happy.  I noticed the date was available to me before I even got back on the Normandy to read the freaking email.       Then find out Liara is across the way on the patio area watching us.

I agree.  The half smile in the medbay...totally had me hooked.  I was like "AWWWW, he LIKES me!"  Soooo sweet.

I still have to say though that the locker scene almost kiss is my favorite moment ever.  The look on their faces.  He wants it so much and she has so many feels for him.

I have about ten in Mass Effect folders, another probably seven on my portable hard drive (among a thousand EU3 saves; such a mess in there). But from those I remember: (format: ME1; ME2; ME3)

Favorite scene with Kaidan is probably his romance scene in ME3; the part where they talk on the couch.

I LOVE the locker scene, but the first moment I actually got giddy about Kaidan was the Citadel overlook scene where Kaidan says, "When you put it that way there's no reason they wouldn't like you... I mean us!  Humans... ma'am."

How do you guys remember the names of which ones romanced who when they do so many romances? 

I do good to remember their names, around how many I have and that's about it.  If all but one weren't faithful, I probably wouldn't even remember that much!

Ok, you guys keep thinking of your fave scenes and I'll try to come up with a different topic discusser.  Ever few days I have this good idea pop in my head and I'm like "wonder how my fellow kaidanites feel/think about that?" So, that's when I show up and ask stuffs.
