Take care madilly, I know what you mean, third pt is dragging a little slow for me, mp is still some fun though sometimes they change the balance without you noticing and you find your infiltrator Geth somewhat crippled a little too late. 

For now I'm reading the novels, reading fanfic, replaying ME1 and writing more of my story, all the while hoping that the extended cut will be worth the wait. I may not have as much to say on the forum but I still read all the posts and enjoy the images nothing wrong with lurking a little!

if you don't do Turian Platoon, the bomb mission won't activate so the bomb won't explode.

I hit my limit with Mass Effect 3 this week...

Considering how much I was playing it (only to stall all of my play throughs just past Rannoch lol) its no real surprise really but for now and probably for good. I'm done with the series and its multiplayer as theres been too much change to it (the MP) and none of it for the better unfortunately, its become less fun and more chore to play.

Thanks to those of you who made the last 1000 pages truly awesome to be a part of, I've got most of you in my friends list or on my xbox by now so dont be a stranger and drop me a hi occasionally...keep posting those ending fanfics ladies!!

I'll be going back to lurker mode on the off chance that something actually gets posted about any of the DLC thats 'supposed' to be coming out some time in the next 20 years <_<
take care of Kaidan and who knows, I might see some of you when DA3 comes out

I hate to hear that @madlily.  You certainly can burn out on any game, goodness knows I have before.  They said the EC would be out this summer, and we're certainly into summer now, it can't be terribly much longer.  And after it - for better or worse - there will be pre-ending DLC.

So I hope you come back.  And, um, keep reading until then? .

Now im just waiting on Guild Wars 2 to come out then nothing will be sad ever again hehe

Ah, sad to see you going Madlily, but I understand.   I still have hope for the EC myself and starting work on a FanFic of my own.   Part 1 is done and it's here.

@madlily Ahhh boo. But of course we all knew we'd move on eventually. I will say that playing the MP demo before ME3 came out with you and others on BSN was some of the most fun and entertaining time I've had on Xbox Live. I hope that you will still check out the EC and other DLC when they (FINALLY) come out.

Just saw Bioware post new t-shirt designs on their Facebook, including an EDI pinup girl shirt.
Still no Kaidan/Any hint of Male LIs for the ladies of the series besides a couple Garrus shirts from ME2

I thought they looked better than the other Mass Effect figures. If we do get a Kaidan figure, it should have great articulation and detail. In my opinion, Play Arts Kai have that better than Big Fish Toys.

I believe you have to do EITHER Missing Scouts (Rachni) or Turian Platoon in order to trigger the Cure mission, which triggers the Coup mission.  So you can have Kaidan with you on either Rachni or Turian Platoon/Bomb, but not both.  His dialogue on Platoon /Bomb is more meaningful (if you don't take Garrus), so that seems the better choice.

I think the Collector one looks more like Sheploo than the Action Figure

There is an ongoing thread about why would Undina promote himher to spectre. I don't understand how can there be some univresal motivation about it, and even less I understand how people really make no difference between them. I know BW screwed both, and they share same damn scenes (horizoncoup) which prevents Kaidan from using his biotics in both cases...I feel there is something wrong about this. Could tolerate it for ME2 (as not much difference for 1 cut and a pic on the table), but in ME3 they ARE hell different. And Kaidan does not get drunk aboard, lol. I don't like how they treated Ash in ME3, but that's not the matter. They are different, anyway, no matter if I like her or not. Thoughts?

One thing that got me thinking about ME3 Kaidan was this too:

I guess with the Reapers arriving and all the crazy crap happening this doesn't mean much, but I always found it strange that as someone who is really big on self control (ME1 convos, just about every one of them) he enjoys alcohol.
Now I myself am really critical about alcohol for personal reasons (and for the self control reason to boot) so I might be a little biased/prudish here, and I doubt Kaidan is a stupid drunk (probably more a jolly/sleepy one), but this is something I found interesting. I would of thought, even if he knows his limits, that he would want to stay away from anything that could cause a loss of any type of self control.

No, I don't eat people's head just for having a drink, I'm not a monster. 
Also coming from someone who's never been drunk or drank anything besides a sip of a strawberry margarita when I was 12, so maybe I'm seeing this in a naive way 

You can have a few drinks without losing your self-control, escapism is big during times of war (It's mentioned in the Spectre terminal), and, as a biotic with a high metabolism, Kaidan can put away drinks faster than a normal person. I don't see him as a drunk, that's Ashley or Garrus.

I also usually have him on the bomb misssion and Rachni.  Never platoon though, so thanks for letting me know that!  I do the bomb after the coup usually.

So, I started ME3 last night, and the above posts have helped me in knowing how soon I can get the hot biotic back in Shepard's quarters onto the Normandy as soon as possible.  However, I'm really hoping I haven't missed a conversation opportunity with him.  I already visited him once in the hospital, right after Mars, but he was still unconscious.  I then went back to the Normandy after finishing the other Citadel business, and took off for Palaven.  Another "guide" I read elsewhere said I should visit him again and bring him the whiskey, then go to Palaven.  Please tell me I didn't screw up and miss my chance to get him back.

I think you're ok.  You should be able to buy the whiskey and give it to him after Palaven.
