I'm glad they're not doing it for EC, because that would be very unfair for the other LIs. I mean, everyone gets no love...*cough*Jacob*cough* 

I just with they would make a biotic cutscenes for poor Kaidan...and abreunion. Maybe a "throw a piece of concrete to the side with biotics to save Shepard" scenes would be awesome. 

I don't know why it's okay to have Liara's biotics in cutscenes, but somehow they forget that Kaidan has them too.  I'm not sure that they'll have any action scenes in the EC, but it would be nice to see Kaidan's biotics, if there were a reason.

Kaidan never seemed to be the one to use Biotics for something he could do on his own really. Liara seemed a bit like a minor show off with her Biotics.

I'm very excited.  I mean this reminds me of the week before the game was released and everyone on the forums was impatient and anticipating what would happen. It won't get like this again (that is until they finally start making a well-deserved Kaidan-specific DLC)! I've been promoting my MP characters like crazy on the off-chance that the EC wouldn't come out until September and wanted to keep my EMS as high as possible in case no one was playing MP anymore by then. So on Tuesday I'll be waltzing through with 100% completed missions over 3 games and 9000+ EMS so I'd better get a "good" ending.

If there is no Kaidan reunion I will continue to drown myself with fanfics and fan-renderings.

Maybe explore the Preversion Potential of Biotics?

We don't know what to, but it should be possible now even with the default 50% readiness, at least for the ending where you can persuade TIM and choose to do so (Chris says it no longer requires 4,000 EMS).

I saw his post but it was a little vaugue.  No surprise there.  They've actually done a good job on keeping stum on he details throughout this whole thing. 

He 'clarified' on Twitter that it no longer requires 4000 EMS

Just about.

It's not terribly surprising, but why couldn't they just have said that months ago, instead of saying "the Extended Cut should answer this for sure" only to spill the answer anyway on the dumb Twitter a few days early?

So you may or may not ever see Kaidan again, but you will slaughter EDI and the geth (somehow, even though the geth are just software).

Closure! :/

No LI and Shepard reunion=hate the ME world forever. Way to punish Shepard in every way possible. Poor Commander sacrificed so much and can't even retire in peace...

Also, I'm willing to wipe out the geth and EDI if it means a reunion with Kaidan. Whatever was built before can be built again. Not as bad as making all organic life half robot or leaving poor Kaidan alone in the universe...

For the price that's being paid for it, if there is a rescue and reunion, they damn well better show it. I want to see it. I want to see the squad celebrating with the survivors of the fleet. I want to see Shepard and Kaidan together again.

If they kill off EDI and the geth but then just give us some text epilogue where "years later, the crew of the Normandy was rescued by remnants of the Alliance, and Shepard and Kaidan finally reunited", I will not be pleased.

And that's all I'll say about that.

That's the best I'm allowing myself to hope for at this point.

That's pretty much the best I expect too and I'm doubting we get that much.

I don't care how much they punish me for picking destroy...I won't pick control or synthesis, those = reapers win to me.

No matter what, on the playthroughs where I romanced Kaidan, I can't pick anything other than Destroy. The thoughts of leaving him all alone in the world again kills me. At least with Destroy there is a chance, even if it is slim, that they will meet again. That is why I am hopeful for the EC.

Then they'll just move to what happens to the people who stayed on Rannoch (just so you know how much you screwed over the quarians by killing the geth) and Tuchanka.

But nothing so far has truly ruled out them going the opposite direction and bringing the squad and Kaidan back where they belong. There's still hope (even if none of us dare to hope for it), for a couple more days at least.

lol that would be awakced id Shep lives and finds  Kaidanon Gilligahns Planet  with like 12 kids..


yelllow would tie the Colours nicely. 


yeah, i've allways picked Dyestory..simply because Shepard has Spent 3 years of her life, been though hell and back, all to dystroy the reapers...and by god she will.

I'm at a point where I find everything highly amusing, even this.

Someone wrote a post in a thread discussing how Hackett knows the Crucible is about to fire with Shepard radioing "... blah blah I'M GOING TO JUMP INTO THE BEAM NOW!" And for some reason I couldn't stop laughing.

Laughing helps a lot.

Yeah, I've been ending a lot of my most morose posts with "Closure!" (kind of the way it used to be "Hold the line!", or how I still sometimes do "Inspiring and uplifting!").

It's annoying to read, I'm sure, but I can't stop laughing every time I do it. :-)

It's makes all the depressing things I'm writing and thinking about actually seem funny.
