pretty much considering the whole plot hole of

"everybody is trapped in the sol system" in the old ending.

I did, i also however noticed that before the EC normandy was extremely damaged while in the EC, the normandy wasn't damage as much as non-EC, so there for i think they was still in flying condition

I noticed that too, still doesn't explain how Joker ended up on that planet when none of the others do.

You know what pisses me off? That they didn't even wack an extra slider on the end to tell us whether or not Shepard survives the blast or just dies in that rubble. The EC is supposed to give us closure and yet we have no definitive confirmation of what happens to him/her in the destroy ending. The most important character in the whole sodding triology and unless you pick blue or green you have no idea what Shepard's fate is.

I didn't mind the EC destroy ending at first, but the more I think about it, the more it's starting to ****** me off. It took long enough to get over it the first time round!

1. i think the others managed to leave the relay before the thing whatever hit them
2. agreed completely, don't know shepards fate with the destroy ending, currently it's like "shepard breathed yay" but does he actually survive? because theres no hints whatsoever and currently it's like "yeah we put a scene here of him/her breathing, will make the fans happy", it does make me happy knowing my shepard is alive, but what makes it worse is that I DON'T KNOW WHAT HAPPENS TO HIM/HER...

closure to everything else, but this... this is madness

What would have been cool is seeing Shepard do that gasp to suggest she's alive and then maybe pan out abit and see her send up a flare to signal she's alive, or have her slowly pick herself up and try to get herself out of the rubble to either be met by a bunch of soldiers who help her out or something... just anything to suggest that, yes she's alive but she'll will actually survive to see the others again.

As I refuse to touch it with a 10 foot pole, what are some opinions on it and why? Just curious as I will most likely never get any DLC for ME3.

Me too i choose destroyed, but i first did the...rejection ending. because my brother told me to take this...I WAS MAD HAS HELL! I restarted when my Shepard was knock out before the beacon and did the destroyed ending. So much better...Shepard is alive and Kaidan knows it. He didn't put Shepard plaque on the board

Honestly, I would just youtube all four endings and form your own opinions on them from that.
It's something that everybody is going to have a different thought on.
Extra LI scene while running down the beam was excellent.
Still some gaping plot holes, though >_>
I'm mixed between "that was better" and "I think I just preferred to headcannon the Indoctrination theory."


I don't even know if the EC can be spoken about without the wrath of a mod coming down as per the new rules, apparently.
Which makes no sense, since it still applies to Kaidan.

1. Don't care about it, altho it will allow me to actually replay ME3 a few times and actually complete the file and not get to london then delete my save

The plot holes didnt bother me too much, I knew they wouldnt have fixed them, I'm just happy that characters are in a better position than they were, the EC was better than I thought it would be as well. Still not perfect but I can see Kaidan and Shep meeting again in my head canon.

The synthesis ending looks cool though, but sad Kaidan makes me a sad panda

Exactly, I mean how long will it take them to start looking for bodies/survivors in the rubble/citadel. I'd like to think the first thing they'd do is look for Shepard, regardless of whether they thought he/she was alive or not because it's a priority.

... I wonder how Shep would get down from the citadel because the beams gone. Lets hope there's some shuttles still up there that still work.

I'm sorry, but they could have just said all this from the beginning and saved me the trouble.

It was nice to see Kaidan again, and it was worth the download for That Scene, but the whole thing was pretty lame.

The epilogue just isn't my thing. The huge jumps in sequence is just jarring. You can't even tell what is happening. I also wanted to smack the Catalyst. Little brat.

But hey, I got the breath scene, for the first time ever. For all the good it does.

personally, most of the citadel is intact, but it's mostly shut down, so yeah there are bound to be many working shuttles to get off the citadel if one knew how to fly one (which shepard obviously does )

and it shouldn't be that long for them to start looking, maybe a few hours or so.

Well, I guess the gasp of air means Shepard definitely lives and the LI not putting the plaque on the wall and then flying off to rejoin Earth means that they do indeed reunite.

... Let's hope neither of them pull a Jacob stunt LOL!

If the squad heard that Anderson is dead, does that mean that nobody found Shepard? You're still bleeding out, wherever you are?

The EC was more than I expected, I am kinda happy with it now. I chose destroy, there were just so many more ways of imagining them getting back to each other.

The Normandy flying off/around the random planet, wrex being back at tuchanka, relays could possibly be fixed. Obviousy I still am like meh with the whole reasoning behind the rReapers but that was the ending I was expecting.

I've only done the Destroy ending so far.  But now I'm hopeful that I'll have a reason to finish my other playthroughs and see the other endings.  It's not exactly what I wanted, but I've also wanted a pony since my 6th birthday and I haven't gotten that yet either.

As far as I can tell Shepard's alive, Kaidan's alive, and no one's stuck on that stupid planet.  That means they have a chance.  I'm sorry I had to take down EDI and the Geth, but I said before the game was released that I would bear any cost to keep Shepard and Kaidan together.  I guess I should be glad that Kaidan didn't have to make a demon baby with anyone.  

What did everyone get during the epilogue??  I wanna know what happened to Jack and Miranda.  I was super pumped to see Zaeed in his lounge chair with a beer, though!  Totally made the ending.  I think I got Zaeed, Samara, Jacob, Grunt & Wrex, and Kasumi.    I felt like something was missing.  Oh, and stupid Javik came out of the Normandy - I took him on one mission.  I was expecting/hoping for Garrus.

I'm going to go somewhere dark and quiet with a glass of wine to further process.

I watched the endings on Youtube and all I have o say about is .....Eh

Still not enough to make me pick up my copy of ME3 and play it through. I haven't even beaten it once yet. I quit playing after Grissom Academy.

I think the only that would pull me back to playing ME3 would be a post-ending DLC with something like saving the Normandy or a Search and Reunite where Shepard finds his/her crew again or they find Shepard. I'm still in the camp with reuniting everyone, LI included.

Not getting any hope on that though as the Devs have stated they have no plans for any post-ending DLC.

Maybe they'd found Andersons body and let them know as they found him but hadn't found Shepard yet so the crew just presumed he/she was dead, except for the LI who believed that Shep was still alive (and was correct.)

Yeah even though the Mass relays stoped working (for now)
i think their long-distance communication still works thus keeping in touch with the normandy
shepard is MIA, some presumed KIA..

but oh no the LI knows better...

So there's no news of finding Shepard, and there's news of finding Anderson, and enough time has passed for them to put Shepard's name on the wall (where Anderson's name is already resting comfortably)?

So we're still wherever that's supposed to be, bleeding and dying? Or did the only thing anybody thought to tell our squad was that Anderson was dead?

Jumping around in time like that doesn't work. It's still clear the breath scene is not actually part of the ending, and I still felt punished for choosing destroy (even more so, actually).

It's not like it was all terrible, but it just didn't seem... credible. I don't believe this is what they had in mind originally, and I don't believe that they've given me enough to be comfortable with that. And they still can't tell me how the story ends, instead dropping a vague and useless "cliffhanger" shot at the very end that only brings up more questions (questions that clearly won't ever be answered) and doesn't mesh with the sequences that immediately precede it.

And with synthesis being so creepy, I can't go that route anymore, so this is the ending I'm stuck with.

I'm glad it's helping people to accept the ending, and it's interesting to see their idea of where some things would go, but it's not really what I need. Vague allusions to the future with a narrated slideshow is not something I ever wanted or needed, and it doesn't entirely help me to put the story to rest.
