Anyone happen to catch a vid of Kaidan at the memorial wall in the destroy (shep lives) ending?

I just posted one now if you'd like to watch it: youtu.be/pplsE9oVy8o

It's from PC video and in HD.  Cheers!

Awesome!! Thanks a lot!

Ok got it! Here's the link with some of the dialogue from the new dlc:

http://pastebin.com/rHzNDedX

Apparently it was found whilst looking around the EC dlc files. I dunno if maybe it's just a concept or if it'll actually happen, but it's an interesting read anyway.

You know I get from that that they are searching the citadel already and they know Anderson is dead so its just a matter of time OR they found Shepard and they all know he/she is is a really bad way but your LI refuses to believe Shep will die, hence the smile.

@Tami and Lola - thanks for that! /hugs

I don't know what I did wrong, but I downloaded the EC, it says there's no more updates, and the ending was exactly the same, no memorial wall scene or anything :-(

Hm. I wonder which of those lines are actually Kaidan's...

"That's what love does. Turns a guy like me into a nervous wreck with something to lose and the aim to make sure he doesn't. Nobody better hurt you, is all I'm saying."

A girl can dream, right??

Oh no! Try contacting BW or Microsoft about it maybe?

Verdict - better! And apologies now but this is a whole post of spoilers, so ignore the rest of this if you need to stay away...

I loved that scene with getting Kaidan into the Normandy, rather than standing at the top of the hill with Garrus for no damn reason (yeah that drove me nuts last time). And I'm so pleased the mshep+Kaidan fans get an I love you line now too, means a lot that they did that.

Why no more Anderson dialog? Missed opportunity. Same old TIM, meh... but then it gets better.

Questions, questions, the poor thing is just a rogue VI, made out of one species paranoia about synthetics, and look at all the fun that's caused over the millennia. Shepard finds a loophole, a logic branch never previously explored, so she gets the chance to change things. So yes, the cycle needs to be ended. Or not, that fourth ending is funny and makes sense in its own way. But I could never do anything but destroy the Reapers.

Control? They were created by lunatics and have evolved into the most sinister things with a singular purpose, and repurposing them would be freaky. Friendly banshees? They're naked! Husks - hey look, it's my dead cousin as an undead zombie! yeah, that would be horrible.

Synthesis? No, just feels like a freaky rogue-VI inspired Genophage. Nope, you're not getting me to go that route.

Destroy? Hell yes! They're Reapers! It's really bad for Geth and EDI, but I think I can live with it... because the Reapers are killing machines. Plus, Kaidan's expression of defiance - now, see, I hadn't seen the alternatives, so when I saw that scene I figured he was determined to find out for sure what had happened to her without knowing either way. But I guess it's not that different from him smiling because he knows she's alive. Whether he knows or not, I'm just glad that he smiled. He's going to be ok, Shep or no shep. He will go on, and the breath at the end gives them enough of a chance, and leaves the door so open for fanfic.

Slideshow? ugh. Felt like a lame way to handle it, but ickle Krogan are adorable! So yeah, it's ok, it's better, it's fixed for this ending. They should have done it this way from the start. I still don't feel anything like the elation of ME1 or 2, and I don't get the omgImuststartanotherplaythrough urge like I did with the others. But it's better, and I'm happy.

Aw, the look on his face at the beginning is ****ing heartbreaking, poor little thing. :(

I like the sudden "eureka" look on his face when he realises that she might not be dead... makes you wonder if maybe, some how Shepard and his/her LI share a deep bond beyond just the norm that gives them the feeling that the other is safe. Like when you just have this really strong feeling that you're going to run into a certain person and then you do sorta thing.

Urgh, I wish they could have given us a proper confirmation that they reunite, more than just implying that they do.

I reckon that's Garrus', since he's always talking about his aim. I think any of the ones that say "ya know" are probably Kaidans lol.

Where did you start playing it from? Cerberus base? That is the best place to start playing...(if you did, then I say contact bioware)

When I saw his face at the beginning it looks like he is almost ready to roll his eyes at Joker or something for ditching Shepard again (I mean he did get her killed in ME2).  I love this ending though it's like they're making him put the plaque up there but he's not sold on the whole idea of her being gone ...

"You scare the hell out of me with those risky stunts, Shepard, but I guess it's also part of what I love about you."

Now, THAT sounds like something Kaidan would say or maybe Garrus lol.. to my Sheps

Hotdamn I hope this is a real DLC lol. Some of the lines in that are awesome.
Though the one about helping her take down the shadow broker? Eh?

Well if it is Kaidan then he better only say that to FemShep,  it would ruin the perfect timing of "I love you" in the MShep arc.

I know what you mean.

It's weird not having the usual "omg I NEED to play this again right away!" feeling I usually get with Bioware games. I mean, even with DA2 with it's rubbish storyline it still made me feel like I'd kicked some arse and got a fairly happy/decent ending with closure to Hawke's story, I knew he was off with Anders somewhere getting into trouble. But with Shepard in the destroy ending, even though a reunion is heavily implied and the EC dlc makes the endings a lot more tolerable, I feel emotionally drained and sad that it's ended without any definitive confirmation of what happens to Shep. It's a bizarre feeling not wanting to replay it again, and at this stage it's unlikely that'll i'll ever do another run through of ME3.

I plan to just play through all the SP dlc's as they come out from the save prior to the Cerberus mission just to experience the full game and then probably not touch it again. It's such a ****ing shame.

Ick, as long as you have a save somewhere in the last sequence after all the goobyes then you will be ok to skip the cerberus part I think... nothing happens til then... I didn't notice anything new til the last missiles were fired, and you can't save after that anyway.

That's the worst thing about the whole London sequence - no damn saves. Had to pause the game and leave my machine on throughout the day so i could get work done - I dread the electricity bills caused by London alone.

I'm assuming he will only say that if you romanced him in ME1, because even when you cheat on him, he doesn't act all nice (he doesn't say "I have always loved you" when you say you love him during the romance scene, for example).
Worst part of cheating on Kaidan? Shepard doesn't look at his assets when he comes back to the Normandy...

I kind of hope that this dlc is the reason why Mr Sbarge went into recording session more than once (actually Jack's VA also went into record some stuff and I'm not sure if she got any new contents...did she?)

I've threatened Mike that I won't buy any of his DLC if he doesn't bring the full squad back with new content (for all the "mission" DLC).

We can only hope that the plan is indeed to have our full squad treated right in future content (DA2 did this wonderfully in their DLC).

I'm taking that to mean that it was a while for the repairs to be made, and in that time Shepard had been found.  Thatalmost explains why my LI (Kaidan, natch) didn't put the nameplate on the memorial wall.  But hey, I guess I shouldn't be surprised. BW LOVES to answer one question and then come up with two more! Posted Image

Yeah, I personally think they may have been there for a week or two (probably not more than a month).

I'm just not sure why they're so sure that Anderson is dead but don't know that Shepard is still alive. Are we going to have to crawl from the core of the Citadel just to get somebody to rescue us (and if we are rescued and we've ever been conscious, I'm pretty sure "Where's Kaidan?" and "Tell him I'm alive." would have come up at least once—those would have been the third and fourth things my Shepard said, for sure, right after "Did we win?" and "Where am I?")?

I only "cheated" on him because I wanted a better Horizon explanation scene; the whole "let's just forget about it" was not good enough. I wanted to hear his explanation, and you can only hear that if you cheat on him, so..

My canon FemShep was loyal to him (especially because I have been playing her ever since I got ME1, before ME2 came out).

I had this problem on Xbox, played through from Cronos station twice on different saves before I gave up and tried reinstalling. Third playthrough, after the reinstall worked but wasted 6ish hours of my life to get to that point.

Worth it though.

So I played through the endings again.

Personally I favor the Destroy and Rejection Endings. But overall I am still unsatisfied with the endings. Don't get me wrong, the explanation of the bigger issues made it better for me. But it's still not going to fix the bitter disappointment I felt initially over the endings. I would probably been good with the endings if this was what they were in the first place. I absolutely loved Kaidan's new scenes and surely I can imagine their reunion, but I don't have the warm fuzzies and eagerness to play the game again that I should have.

EDIT: ToP!
