Probably, mistranslating word... How do we call that place at the galaxy map? You know, where capitan stands, on CIC deck? 8P There was a moment when human male with dark short hair moves from that point towards Joker cabin. There is a small CIC cut scene, I supposed that could be Kaidan, as he's a highest rank and...well, Kaidan. But if you're telling me that never happened - nevermind then. 8P Probably after I calm down a bit more - I'll replay Earth mission one more time. Or may try googling it out.

Yeah, that's what I love to do - digging codexes, checking details and understanding things...To use those as a starting point for personal headcanoning. It's not that I got lack of imagination or something, it's just I believe it right to make headcanons and fics so that they would expand universe instead of rewriting it or making something different at all..I always liked fics that "respect" worlds they base on, I always thought that "author was wrong - I know it better and do it my way" is not good (though I know some interesting examples). But ME3 made me do exactly this - discard [some] "true" content and build my own instead.

I liked the memorial scene, I liked the fact that Kaidan looked hopeful, it allowed me to be hopeful too.

Same here. Probably, the best scene. Right expressions, right animations... DAT HALFSMILE <-) If only they put real in-game name instead of non-existing title "commander" - I could be almost happy. MGS2 did it, after all, many years ago.

In my imagination, Shepard & Kaidan are reunited, I can settle with that.

Same here, but Ec more hurt initial setting then supported it. As it was for me - him and Garrus were hut by same blast as Shep, but she saw no bodies around as she "went online", and she had no time to search and rescue, and the beam was already so close...*sigh* They say Kaidan used some non-subordinate words to Hackett demanding a shuttle and people to get up after things up there on a citadel stoped exploding...wish I could see that chat, lol.. And Normandy is MIA.

I doubt a fictional character will ever hold as much interest as Kaidan did for me.  I was never into Anders in Dragon Age and I can't get into the elf characters that were available in that series.  Kaidan's been a part of my ME journey for five years now and the first s/s romance in a game that I've ever felt was really well done, with an arc that evolved from one of friendship to love, making it that much more special.

He's the perfect combo of good looks, charming personality, and Mr. Sbarges voice acting seals the whole deal.  Maybe if they have Sbarge voice the next male LI character as well haha, actually that'd be bizarre b/c it'd just make me think about Kaidan again.  I guess that's why some people say they only think of Carth from Star Wars when talking to him.  I never played KOTOR so that voice will always belong to Alenko for me.

Yeah I agree, Kaidan has been amaizing he's been my LI since day one and I stayed loyal too, ME2 was a painfull rollercoaster haha! Yeah he is definitely the perfect combo. I did like Anders in Dragon age but he doesn't hold a candle to Kaidan, plus Kaidan has been there for 3 games, Anders only had one.

Haha yeah i'd love Raphael Sbarge to do the next voice acting but yeah I agree, i'd keep thinking it was Kaidan in another body or something haha! Think he's gonan be forver the best love interest, he's just amazing  Haha

Why not?Looks alike from that view...and considering render resolution...and even makes some sense. Don't think anyone can just run around capitan's place (xept for XO which was never announced in ME3)? Shepard is MIA, someone has to become CO after all...

Because that moment was so heart warming, even harbringer himself was awed by this moment and didn't shoot because of how lovely it was...

Ah, you mean the deck just in front of the Galaxy Map maybe?
At some point you've got a scene with some guy standing in place of the Commander's in front of the Galaxy Map.
Are you refering to this? Yeah, I was like, "Who are you ANYWAY? Get your hands off there, now!" I remember from ME1 before Anderson gives up the Normandy, when you try to interact with the Galaxy Map, it wouldn't allow you ;-) so I don't get what's this guy doing here.

I'd say i'm not into fan fic, or fan art at all. I like the "real" thing.
One reason is that well, not to be mean, but not everybody is talented. But I know that they do it for themselves, or to show their fandom, not necessarily as a work of art. But I personally don't like seeing/reading bad fan art, that's all. 
Other reason is that from little I've seen, some fans tend to rewrite, as you said, in denial of the original work.
But if it expands on its base like you said, "respecting" what the original authors/artists did, then yeah, it's totally OK for me. So I think it's nice that ME seems to be so dear to you, that you want to be accurate in your imagination and your fantasies, but because of your disappointment, you're also tempted to move into denial it seems.  Normally, i'd say "be strong". But now that the ME trilogy is final, I think that every fan deserves to make it exactly what he/she wishes it to be, cause you know, fans EARNED it, and now that it's over, it's not as important as it used to be. Sometimes, you get the feeling that you love the characters a lot more than the original creators do, but then I try to think about all the individuals implied in the project at Bioware, and I'm sure that all the developers, the artists, that guy or girl that did the pattern and modeling for Tali's suit , or Garrus' scars, or Kaidan's mouth, or the person who wrote that "You were always stubborn." line,  you know, they must love them as much as we do. 

I'm not too familiar with this notion of "headcanon", it'd be nice if you could explain this to me.
And also, about the fan works, like i said, I've never been too much into this, but in my recent ME obsession, i stumbled upon a few blogs with fan fics and art that are really really great, inspired, really well done, even BETTER than the real thing, and totally falling in line with the original work, so that's really a good surprise for me.

I hear you! Loved it, very touching, and yeah, come on, was it so difficult to add a dynamic input in here!! To have your Shep's first name for the very first time in the whole series, in there, that would have been totally awesome and also really symbolic for the fans, I think.

His neck and hair are different shapes than Kaidan's.  The neck is too thin, his hair isn't quite the same and his skin tone looks different, as an artist I pick up on those subtle things pretty well.  Plus it wouldn't make any sense for that to be Kaidan b/c he's supposed to be in the med bay healing up so he can have his close up shot when they crash land heh.

Also the thought of Harbringer displaying an act of mercy for their love is hilarious and sweet at the same time.  That must be why he didn't actually kill Shepard either, just ****ed him up so he knew the reapers were still in charge.

Hmmm...good question but I think it's left up to the player's imagination. After all, if you take LI Kaidan with you to the beam, he gets injured. If you don't take him, you can always headcanon it and say 'Yep, that's him."

Liara comes next..

i wonder but i really can't be asked going through 45 minutes of shooting, 20 minutes of TIM dialog and a few hundred years of star-brat talking...

I played Kotor a lot. First in french (my ex boyfriend had installed it in french, couldn't understand a word in english ><) but the voice acting is so awful in fr that's when I definitely chose to play all my VG in english. So, then beat it 4 or 5 time in english, with Sbarge acting as Carth.
But the character was rather different. I didn't like Carth much. I had nothing against him but... dunno. Maybe because all but one of my Revan were male, I didn't romanced him so I didn't seen him like the soul mate Kaidan is to my Sheps. 
Or maybe because Kaidan is so hot and Carth wasn't... Anyway, I never mixed the two characters. 
Even when I replayed Kotor after ME3. Nice to hear Sbarge voice (I love it) but it wasn't Kaidan <_<

That said, I'd really like having Raphael acting a male LI in the next BioWare game

Haaaaa I thought it was him at first and then told myself he was just an random soldier, since he didn't show up in the cockpit with Joker, Traynor and Liara (sorry on the "bridge". Alliance vessels don't have cockpits, they have bridges. Asari have cokpits xD)
But I think you're right, it sure looks like him.

I happened to edit my saves to turn each autosaves in an actual manual savegame. Comes in handy to test all the endings and see the vids.

I bet most if not all of the squad could do it. Your team at the beam can't do it because they're in the medbay. So everyone else has to be able to do it. Garrus, Kaidan, and Ashley could be dead anyway.

i have had javik once, liara another time and garrus. Right now i am playingthrough with a male shepard (got garrus and Ashley on my team, wanna know it replaces her with hehe
