I havent been here in awhile so much going on >.< anyways wanted to just AWWWWWW at the dlc and I cried when my shep was walking away from kaidan. I liked that the choices were explained and the endings are all really good though im all for destory ending. Just want my shep and kaidan to be happy together by the beach.

Oh man, you made me cry again...

When the explosion happened, my mom was like "oh, your Shepard died again" and all I could do was shake my head because it was so sad.

And for some reason, I got Vega telling Joker that we had to go (he said "hey man, we have to go" or something like that) 

edit: was this a romanced Kaidan? I think I prefer to take him to the beam run...

Me too!!  I wish I could see Kaidan in that scene but it was Liara for me.

That one scene with Joker saying "Dammit", made me love him. I never really liked Joker but it just broke my heart to see him trying so hard but finally have to give up and leave.  

I was glad they redeemed Joker.

Just watched the video with the crew flashbacks, I'm crying. I'm such a sap

Also any video with the Vigil theme (the one with the fixed Kaidan ending) makes me start crying. Started playing ME1 when I was quite depressed, it made me feel so happy playing.

My head canon still isnt 'confirmed' due to where the Normandy could have gone, I have a small idea that perhaps the planet they landed on has an unactivated relay in the cluster and they fly towards it and activate it (even if they dont have EDI, samantha is intelligent and I'm sure others know the basics). But they only can use it when another is fixed so could be a few years but luckily (lol) the planet can keep them all alive/or the normandy has enough rations.

I was actually thinking about this last night. I was peeking in the indoctrination thread, and somebody was watching video of the rescue and saying that Harbinger "looks" at the ship during that scene.

In my head, I was laughing that Harbinger was going to blow it out of the sky, but then he saw how much Shepard loved Kaidan and he realized it would have been the last mistake he ever made.

They totally would have gotten their boss battle with Harbinger then! ;-)

Now really looking forward to DLC, so more Kaidan hopefully. Unless Bioware want to hate on us and release DLC pre-coup so we can't take Kaidan with us.

I don't think they would do that, only because it would pretty much require everybody to start a new game.

All of the DLC will probably be like From Ashes, which you can complete any time after Mars and before the attack on Cronos.

Looking forward to DLC now. I'm really hopeful that the missions are going to have new content for all the squadmates (just like Eden Prime had lines for everybody). More Kaidan!

Just have to drop in here and mention something.  I was going through my Fraps vids of the EC pulling screencaps, and it turns out that the Normandy is circling the Citadel/Crucible connection point when you make your choice.  THEY WERE TOTALLY GOING TO TRY TO PICK YOU UP!

Then it starts exploding, and the crew member tells Joker they have to go.  It's why the wave is right on the Normandy's tail - because they were literally RIGHT THERE when it started cascading out from the Crucible.

So they did the pickup on Earth, then (presumably) as soon as Hackett said someone made it up, they headed up there to attempt a rescue.

I feel even better about Joker and the crew now .

Okay now that makes me want to tear up again. SO GLAD they redeemed Joker. It was Liara who told Joker to go in my playthrough since I took Garrus and Kaidan with me to the beam; I'd like to think they were highly against it and had to be restrained.

And to add some more linguistic ontopic to my post - I've already mentioned about month ago here, that Mr. Alenko has absolutely typical ukranian surname, that exists in a country, and his name also has ukrainianturk origins (and can be found as a surname around modern Ukraine as well, but not as first name). Not that I mean that he's a 100% ukrainian, but hу did have some ancestors from Eastern Europe, no doubt. 8P

Eheh, now THAT's an interesting topic.
Yeah, I read that Alenko was Ukranian, and Kaidan is Japanese.
But to me, I don't know why, Alenko immediately stroke me as being mainly latin-american! Even Sbarge's voice acting sounds this way, actually that's the kind of accent my French ears imagine for a latin-american born in North America! I mean, yeah, not a 100% latino, probably mixed origins, but still.

So that's what so funny and really, huh, magical about Major Alenko, is that everybody sees something different in him, but ALWAYS hot Really, whoever designed him, gave him Sbarge's voice, and that great character writing deserves some kind of medal for creating such a perfect combo, that appeals to so many different types of persons, men and women alike! It's somewhat creepy actually .

I read very often that people thought he was definitely Asian, and when I see pictures of actors people would imagine him after, they often look totally white caucasian and so on... He's handsome enough that people can project any fantasies in him. 

As for me, I'm half Asian, half French, so maybe it seemed unconciously fit that I would imagine him as someone even more "exotic" than I, and of course, with mixed origins.

PS: plus he's very dark haired and with no hair whatsoever on the whole body, so that really narrows the ethnic possibilites  so yeah, definitely latino

Lol I always figured him in as a latino too Kaidan doesn't sound particurarly asian to me... more Irish in fact 
I thought with Alenko sounding east european he had Georgian origins, thus the exotic look.

Somehow, though I love the Shep/Kaidan scene during the beam run, I think I'll stick to the Indoctrination Theory.
My headcanon Shep was struck down before the evac scene, and she's playing it in her head to reassure herself about Kaidan fate. With her mind at peace knowing Kaidan has left the battlefield, she can move on to the mind battle with Harby.

Yup I romanced Kaidan and had him for the beam run in my original save. I can't part away from him ! So I got Liara telling Joker to go initially.

But Doodle wondered if it changed depending on the people you brought to the beam, and that since Liara and Garrus seemed to take precedence, would we have moar Kaidan with the blue missie and the awesome turian making the run ?

I reloaded my save to find out, and shared
