Don't mind me. I'm just switching to a temporary banner. Will make a better one once I finished the EC with my canon Shep.

Your banner is amazing, hope you don't mind im using it. Don't know how to get my Shepard's face though, but I still love the message the banner has Posted Image

K : Yeah, don't tell me, I'm craving for the action, it's been months now since the attack on the Citadel and nothing seems to be changing.
S : So Lieutenant, craving for some action huh *wink wink* ...

That's funny, I never thought about that, the fact that her scars were gone because of the Lazarus Project and so on. I read a fanfic about that first night once, it was pretty emotional and then, well, it just became rightdown steamy Posted Image Gotta find the link...

Thats brilliant, really emotional read. Upsets me more that there was no reunion in the EC though, im just glad he smiled when he decided not to put her name on the board. I hate the though that Kaidan went through all that pain of loosing her again Posted Image especially after the things he said like "I can't loose you again" makes me sad Posted Image
But again brilliant peace of writing. Posted Image

I think we can all agree from Miranda (and Kaidan), that Bioware have become a expert on making perfect asses in videogames.

Ahah Posted Image somehow I knew this would sparkle some interest...

I thought Miranda's was a bit too big though, but Kaidan's rather pleasant.

EDIT : I was wondering, has ShepLoo got the exact same ass???

Personally I'd feel much more happy if they focused on faces and hands. I mean they bothered to make unique facial animations in ME1 (like DAT HALFSMILE, yes, and a lot of "idle" expressions).

And looking at his hands and arms on this shot(and any other, and any scene or banter) makes me cry, really. If you don't know how to model muscles within current engine - why even trying? Elbow area is especially awful, sadly. In ME1 he did not look that "powerful", may be, but he did not look weak either. He had nice human male hands\\arms, strong, but not too "Jamsey".

Oh, I wouldn't exactly cry seeing this Posted Image, but of course you're 100% right, all the body modeling was a lot better in ME1, it was better executed and looked a lot more realistic, softer, fleshy, plus I like "young" Kaidan's body a lot better, less pumped. If this had been a PC game in the first place, it might have been different though.

I think the hospital scene in that regard is rather disappointing, poor guy has rugged limbs (ouch!), he looks as if cut out stone, but the butt is still nice, that's some continuity at least.

That reminds me, I thought ShepLoo's butt looked rather strange in ME1 when running, I had the feeling he was always wearing diapers around!

Look in the ME3 textmod thread, and look for the alliance uniforms textmod. The creator finished up the hand and forearm textures so it doesn't look like everyone's been working in a coalmine all day long.

Any other textures still suffer of course, but
1) kadian's always in his alliance uniform
2) do you need any other reasons? :)

Thanks for the tip - personally, the skin textures don't bother me at all, they look really fine IMO, it's really more the modeling and some animations that are not motion captured.

I suspect time and the fact that they already have several thousand animations coded are a factor. We are still working off single 4.7GB DVD's. However I agree, the next holy grail of realistic gaming will be animations and expressions. That's why I loved LA Noir,

Alliance uniform? Do you mean blue officer outfit?! Yes. I need. But not other reasons to get texmod - something much different then my current laptop. I've seen Kaidan armors and skins hires retex. Those are amazing, true. But I highly doubt my good old Acer shares my emotions about them..

Probably, minor mods could work (like single armor or weapon), but I'm afraid not...texmods for ME3 are very resource-hungry, from what I've read.

Actually, they matter (if you browse texmoded screens). Not only for detailes but also some nice improvements.

I think the hospital scene in that regard is rather disappointing

Don't even remind. They made their worse in that scene, imo. As they tried make his face, hands and body look "very broken"...which looks more like dirty. And also when he lifts his head up to talk to you - I have a strong urge to bring him pile of pillows. Because that pose looks so uncomfortable and unnatural.
