That's funny, I never thought about that, the fact that her scars were gone because of the Lazarus Project and so on.
My Shep had the big scar that went over the bridge of her nose. To me, it looked kind of like an acid burn or something, I liked it. I picked the sole survivor background, having no idea what that really MEANT in terms of details. By the end, I totally put it together that the scar was from where the thresher maw spit acid and where it made it under her visor. Subsequently, the scar was her reminder to always be diligent, to look out for the team, and that she was a survivor, despite any odds. In turn, the lack of scar was a bit identity shaking. I figured Kaidan would know that.
I will have to read the fic you linked later, my husband promised me pancakes because he was so drunk at a party last weekend that he was being a ******. I told him that he had to make pancakes to make it up to me. :: teehee ::
