I wouldn't have minded my total bro bringing drinks to my cabin. Feel so lonely...Not even the covers stay with shepard. lol

You mean the white flower imprint ones (MSherp we gotta talk about that)? They show up In Kaidan's romance scene. I wish they would have given somthing like that for ME1, or made Kaidan a s/s romance for ME1 (Yes I know you can mod it, but still!)

I never saw white flowers on them. Then again, I never romanced either Kaidan or Ash. All I got was Shepard waking up, sleeping in his black boxeers, looking pale as a ghost, and being lonely. Slightly awkward.

Like, The scene could be the same lead up to the Kaidan Romance scene but it just continues like a normal conversation. Heck, Repurpose that Anderson Dialogue and have Kaidan ask Shepard that. PERFECTION!

Why did they make such a nice character?! It's too much for my heart (thank god my mom wasn't around when I opened it...)


And whoever was talking about Alistair...I used to like him more than Kaidan before ME3... 
I couldn't help it. He is so cute and nice and...I just think that DA romance is done differently from ME romance. They are more open and the probability of a happy ending exists (while in ME3, we get gloomy endings)

Which could result in a change of Dialogue. Miri is unable to get pregnant from, what is implied to be, her father changing her genetic code. The Shadow Broker had information on this, but its never stated if Miri ever told Shepard herself about it.

I was not talking about specifically Alistair, but on my 2+hour gameplay, he did not seem to be a good reason to go on. Probablym there are some perfect character writing behind him, and depth etc. But when you meet someone - you either like him or not, right? It's not his fault and it's not even DA:O fault. I can see that game is well done, if I saw it like about 5 years ago or earlier (and\\or did not play ME before it), I could be happy with it. I was absolutely happy with NWN1 many years ago, and with Icewind dale, and with some other non-d20\\dnd based fantasy games(including some MMOS). But the times - they are a-changing...

ps: But I know where they took that post-mako "covered with blood" texture pattern from now. I've seen what you did there, BW!   Too lazy to make a compare shot, but if I have time tonight - I may do it. One of things I disliked in DA:O, btw. Blood is just meh. Probably, one can turn this thing off somewhere in settings?

Also, fun ME story for the day: I went to see Brave tonight, and was walking through the theater and someone complimented my N7 sweatshirt. I said thanks and he asked if I'd played the ending with the EC and I told him that I did and that I really liked it, I didn't finish it with the original endings, ect. We were all saying "hey so what ending did you do?" And my husband is giving me and this random dude the evil eye of "I haven't played, don't spoil the ending" but we were pretty "coy" and not getting into details. Random ME theater conversations FTW!

yes, it's possible to turn the excess blood off in the settings.
or at least, I know it removes being covered in blood during cutscenes. I don't know if it turns blood off completely. My DAO has been broken for a couple months

If it's not for you, then it's not for you, but I will say in terms of quality and majesty and just sheer scale, Origins is the greatest thing BioWare has done since BG2. I don't believe they will ever again pull something like that off.

And if you do not play and you never experience Shale, you're truly missing out. She is my absolute favorite out of every BioWare character ever written. Strange and wondrous and magical and funny and tragic. She is flawlessly written and flawlessly acted.

Ah, yes, that too... Actually, the real star of the show is probably Joker, yeah, great opening scene for character "exposure" (don't know if that's the word)... (nostalgic sigh)

Absolutely this. The cutscene with the chicken when you leave Honnleath (the village where you first meet Shale) was one on the funniest things I've ever seen. Shale's ending reaction is classic!

But, anything I do on a video game has nothing on the conversations I have with my own characters. He's gotten used to me living with a horny empathic gay paramedic in my head *that never shuts up*. Everything else is just pretty easy to explain from there.

Except maybe that time I threw some questionable mods on Dragon Age for giggles, which lasted about as long as I forgot they were there, and came across something you can't unsee. Thankfully, my husband was nowhere around for my choking of laughter. That would have been hard to explain.

And my husband, bless his heart, did not flip me any crap for the Kaidan Alenko Fanlisting.
