thanks for understanding lol, most people would normally RAGE and say "what the f~ it was 5 minutes ago"
then i go on with my reason and they still RAGE but whatever
Well, I can't say I wouldn't like to understand why you seemed kind of annoyed or offended, cause, as much as I wouldn't call myself a, huh, people person, I certainly value respect. I'm always very straightforward and I appreciate people being the same with me, but then, I've noticed that at least in real life, people think differently and can feel offended about that. So huh, if you're good, then it's fine

Kaidan: So, I figured. Since we're, ah, getting married. I was wondering, what do you want to do about our names?
Shepard: How do you mean?
Kaidan: I mean, do you wanna keep our names, or should we hyphen them?
Shepard: What? Like 'Shepard-Alenko'?
Kaidan: *Chuckles* I, ah,... I was thinking more 'Alenko-Shepard'.
Shepard: Oh no.
Kaidan: Uh... damn, then what do we do?
Shepard: Could combine them, somehow?
Kaidan: Into what? 'Shenko'? 'Alenkard'?
Shepard: ...
Kaidan: ...
Shepard: *snorts, holding in laughter.*
Kaidan: *trying not to laugh either.*
Shepard: Pfft! That's horrible! heheha!
Kaidan: I'm sorry - couldn't resist. Lol.
Sorry. Just meant to be a bit of fun.
F/MShenko = win. Would do it in Duet Effect, except - ya know, that's incest on Shepards' counts.
Ahah, that's cute, "Alenkard"'s a winner

that's one thing that slightly annoyed me during canon play-throughs. Shepard was always Shepard, not 'john' every other character was referenced in first name. Except Shepard. I believe most people that played canon shep (and it's the VAST Majority) kept Jane/John, but it's never touched. The closest you get is the brandy drink with chakwas and even she won't say it! ...
When the L/I are declaring their love of shepard and they don't call him/her by their first name, it sounds, akward almost.
That's funny, the only part where I missed the first name was on the memorial plaque.
Other than that, I got used to everybody including LI calling Shepard by his/her last name. Maybe from ME1 when you had the difference when Kaidan calls you Shepard or Commander depending on the relationship.
Also, I thought the opening sequence from ME2 was really nice, when Kaidan says he's not leaving, he says "Shepard", and when told/ordered to leave, he says "Aye, aye, Commander.", very clever piece of dialogue.
EDIT: in the same way, as i said before, I enjoy Shepard calling Kaidan "major", it's some kind of game between them, plus I guess that as military, it would make sense using only last names, at least it's commonly pictured as such.
