Haven't posted on this thread for a while but I was replaying me3 the thessia part and of course my Li was Kaidan and he was with me, we were fighting against Kai L. and he said to Shep "Your friend Thane died like a coward and you will be joining him soon", now though I have played me3 more than once, this is the first I have heard it, maybe I was killing him too fast, but Kaidan suddenly responded "I didn't quite catch that you little bastard, why don't you come a little closer?" Lol Do you guys think he said that to protect his girlfriend / Boyfriend ? Or did he feel the comment was directed at him as well?

I've always brought Javik for that because I like the scene with Liara and him afterwards. What I don't like is having him walk off my ship at the end of the game. I had Garrus and Kaidan for 90% of my missions, or atleast one of them for others. I bring Javik ONCE for Thessia and suddenly he gets presedence over Garrus.

Edit~ Tis a shame he can't act upon it until ME3 (or modded)

I like the modding, since you get all the extra dialogue in ME1 and ME2, but I think it feels more natural in 3. You've both been too busy to act ipon each others feelings, and finally when you both catch a break - when the galaxy is about to end - you both have a chance to express how you both have felt about each other over the past three years.

When I first played ME1 and ME2, before I knew about Kaidan as mShep LI for 3, I always had Tali as my LI. There is something so quirky and shy about her that is really cute. That being said I'd choose Kaidan over Tali any day.

for me i kind of screwed up ME2 romance because i thought i failed it cause i got to the SM without a romance and didn't think i could do it...

but then i did a few missions while talking to tali and BAM romance scene done

so i basicly have a file for a single shepard and a shepard who romanced Jack ~ Miranda ~ Tali

altho my first play was Talimanced i did it started a NG+ and unknowingly cheated on her~

worth it though...

now everytime i want to romance a new person i use "single" shepard

Oh yea now I remember... I had this problem with Tali. She was so. damn. sad. I don't think Miri did it but I wouldn't deny it. But I was hellbent on being with Kaidan in ME3, so I bared with it.

Hooked up with Jack for a quick romp in the engineering sub deck, and then somehow got into a relationship with Tali (I think I just wanted to see her face, didn't know it was impossible). Then there was Samara who I heavily pursued but obviously it's ultimately impossible to romance her. If Kaidan wasn't in the game I'd actually prefer Samara to Cortez even though I'm into dudes. Her character is so cool and a relationship with her would make for a good story/interesting dynamic with her justicar code making things tricky.
But no one comes close to Kaidan, wish I'd known he would be available in ME3, seeing dissapointed Tali and hearing Kaidan tell me and Tali on the geth dreadnought that he'd give us some time alone was incredibly awkward. I was like "No Kaidan it was just boredom/curiosity stemming from ME2! She means nothing to me!" I don't feel like replaying ME2 to remedy this either lol.

I did my first broshep playthrough not long ago and hot damn was it hard to turn down Tali. Especially after I read her Shadow Broker files. Sheesh. I thought I had successfully friendzoned her and the next time I went to talk to her she came at me again and I had to officially break her heart. It was so sad. I wish you could just tell her you were gay. Lol.

You should. The mShep Kaidan romance is really good.

what's acutally different from the non moded ME1 L/I that you wouldn't get from say, a Moded L/I.

There's a lot of flagged L/I Dialog throughout ME3 if you've romanced him previously. Just wondering if the non L/I dialog is worth it.. 
Logically it probably makes more sense..but from a 'as much of Kaidan as possible' stance...?

Never had any problem with FemShep, even in my first playthrough, though I did not know the game acknowledged staying loyal to Kaidan.

Neither Garrus, Thane nor Jacob ever tried to "hit" on my Shep, though during convos I saw that Shep had the possibility to try and seduce them.
I didn't cause my headcanon was Shep clinging to her past relationship with Kaidan (though he had turned her down in Horizon. Why Kaidan, whyyyyy ? :crying:)

When sticking to "strictly professional or friendly" lines with the crew, I never had any "bad" surprise.

I wonder why the frame is empty in ME3 though? IIRC there's a textmod that you can use to replace it with a character.. but I forget where it is anymore. Seems out of place without it. Almost creepy infact. Who keeps empty picture frames in their bedroom?

A few people prefered the romance of 'staying in the closet' until ME3. However, from a dialog and visual perspective (Hugs in ME2 , ME1 Scene up until FMV HOT..) you're loosing A LOT. Just wanted to know what's different/gained (aside from non-L/I dialog options) as a result of your acknowledgement that you didn't L/I him in ME1.

I know for example, that they acknowledge in the Cronos Romance scene that 'you were so burried in your work back then' as a refence to not being able to romance him in ME1. Is that all?

With Tali I kind of felt it was inevitable since we've done so much together. Jack is just the kind of blunt gal who would hit on me regardless.

Since we started talking about the possible name's for a married Shepard and Kaidan, what would the names of their kids be? Would they have Alenko as a middle name with Shepard as a last name?

The only character I ever felt bad about not romancing as a femshep was Thane. For some reason I got the impression that he was in love with me even if I didn't flirt with him. Maybe because of the whole "Siha" thing...hm...or maybe I'm just an egomaniac. Also totally possible.

I had a nice head canon thing with Liara watching as mShep and Kaidan's future daughter is yelling at her son who is running by using his full name with ____ Alenko Shepard! I haven't figured out a good first name <_<
