You must have played some EEC, as all the spacefight in both original and EC happens much above atmosphere. And I doubt there were many pregnant survivers in the reaperified areas, so makos and shuttles explosions did not affect anyone. And reapers did not explode- they shut down.

It's actually from the beginning of the game. When you're running after Anderson you see a battleship get blown up by a reaper beam pretty close to the surface and find a couple soldiers who ship went down as well. I think it's safe to say lots of eezo cores explode in earth's atmosphere.

About the pregnant survivors. That's the thing. How long are we looking at eezo being in the air? Does this stuff hang around awhile? Are clean up crews gonna be able to handle it all? Are there any clean up crews left anywhere?

Thanks Chibi   I don't have much free time these days so unfortunately  it's unlikely I'll get around to doing a femshep version.  Plus I'm literally so invested in the MShep/Kaidan pairing that drawing him with femshep would feel weird to me.  I mean I can see pics/art/vids of femshep with Kaidan that other people have done and it's great because I see the love come through for fans of Fshep/Kaidan but since I myself lack that same emotional attachment it would be more difficult for me personally to create an art piece dedicated to it.

Mmmh, had to look up "withdrawl", is it the state you're in when you're short of an addictive substance? I sure feel like that those days, like I'm missing something. I was a bit huh, relunctant, looking at the first step of that drawing you posted earlier, cause I'm still quite lamely at struggle with the fact that Alenko "hid" from my FemShep through all these years that he was bi/gay/metro/Shep-sexual  ... but looking at that quite perfect picture, now complete with the hospital scene and Garrus on the lookout, it helps somehow to feel better - I love the expressions on both Kaidan and Shep's faces, it's bittersweet, sad but hopeful too, as if they thought "can you imagine what would have happened if I hadn't found you?", so well done again, you're obviously very talented, and I envy you to have that medium to express your feelings, and thank you, really, for sharing this.

Lolz, don't worry, if you play a femshep then Kaidan is most definitely straight, you can tell he's really into femshep.

Remember: The only way in the ME universe to create mass effect fields is eezo and an electric current. Without eezo, no mass effect fields and no biotics. I really don't see how you can inherit eezo nodules. It would require the body to sort of produce eezo and that's impossible. It's the one time their science actually makes perfect sense to me.

Now, the asari biotics are hard to explain since they're supposed to inherit lots of eezo nodules after the Protheans did something with their genetic markup. But their methods of procreation are very iffy in general.

You also have to keep in mind that the occurence of biotics in humans coincides with the discovery of eezo.

I was about to point to you the fact that Asari procreation involving DNA copying, we can suppose Asari don't need exposure to eezo to be biotic (and since a very percentage of the asari population are biotics, we can assume exposure is not an option to explain it).

But what about Krogans ? After the Rachni wars, we can assume some gained biotic powers through exposure. But lots of Krogan seemed to have some biotic powers, not very potent, but enough to bolster a charge (krogan vanguards seems rather common).
I don't know the lifespan of krogans, but I don't think they last as long as Asari, so I assume none of them actually lived during the Rachni Wars and Krogan Rebellions.
Whan considering the Genophage, does that means lots of Krogan have the potential of biotic ? Or biotic krogan babies have higher chance to overcome the Genophage ?

Either way... how would you explain Krogan biotics is my question

The only thing I know for sure is that krogan can live 1000yrs. They have the same life span as asari. That's why "blue rose of ilium" asari was so unsure about Char. It was for keeps.

Now about how krogan become biotics, my best guess would be the same way as other non asari species. Of course, with krogan DNA being so adaptable who knows? Because of the adaptability though I bet more of them would live to be born (genophage aside).
