Aww that's so sweet.  I was just telling my friend the other day that if I ever had a kid and if it were a boy I'd name him Kaidan, then I realized how unlikely that is to ever happen so I'm glad someone else did

I don't know if Kunari will be around later but I just wanted to say that I finally read Jungle World and this was the only response I felt could accurately portray my feelings about it:



Whether the ending is happy or sad this story is going to rip my heart out either way. So many feels.

So...I finished my ME3 playthrough with the EC endings...and can honestly say that I am EXTREMELY pleased with the ending I got.  Granted, I never played it without the EC, so I can only speak to what I experienced.  I took Kaidan and Javik with me for both bits of the Earth missions, and they actually proved to be a fairly decent team.  Between the three of us, we were able to take down Banshees pretty efficiently.  But it was the apparently new scenes that just took all of my feels...allll of them!

That scene at the Normandy during the last run to the beam...with the whole "Don't leave me behind!" and the big puppy dog eyes...and then the bit at the memorial wall and that half smile...OH!  I asked my boyfriend if it was wrong for a video game to be making me cry like a little girl with pigtails, and he said it was perfectly alright, since he got a little teary at the end of Halo: Reach himself.   I went with the Destroy, because after those puppy dog eyes, there was no way I was leaving him alone again.  My flashbacks were Anderson, EDI (I kinda sobbed and said to my screen, "I'm so sorry EDI, but...Kaidan!"), and of course, Kaidan.  During the epilogue slide show, I got Thane, Mordin (more tears), and the standard issue Alliance helmet.  And I just have to say....Krogan babiez!!!!! *squeeeeee*

My head canon says that Kaidan hesitated at the memorial wall because some random crew member suddenly yelled out "Wait! Incoming message from Hackett, Major!"...and that was why he smiled.  So, he's now sitting at her bedside, waiting for her to wake up and telling her all about how he's going to take leave when she wakes up and they will go to his parent's orchard so she can recover and he'll be there to take care of her, no matter what.

It has some stuff with Shepard, and some very nice parts in the later chapters. Some issues with grammar, but other than that it's very good.
