Since MageTarot and Doodle are interested I'll tell the story, it's nothing too interesting but I thought it's at least a bit funny.

I used to have a friend who had a cat who he named Miffins, and always liked to scream out his name over ventrilo or over xbox live when ever he did something dumb. It became kind of hilarious to play CoD and have him scream out: "For the Miffins!!" into the mic. It lead to some pretty funny events. But I liked it, so I turned it into my username.

OK, so I told you guys about another poll that was asking about a romance pack, well an even better has come to fruition. It's much more in-depth, asking who you are as a gamer, who your love interest is, what you would expect to come from this kind of ask. Please go there and vote, and tell others about it as well -- not just the Kaidan-mancers. We're trying to show how much support this idea would really have and show BioWare how all of us would like more time with our LI, no matter what the situation, as we're trying to reach too far because, let's all be realistic, the likelihood of something like this is pretty slim. Anyway, please participate.

I think they pretty much always planned to do it. Although something like the tour of the ship afterward may have come about because of fan feedback, I very much doubt that the whole mission was simply a reaction to people wanting to see more of Liara.

The votes aren't quite essential, because BioWare has metrics on the romances. So although some people may respond one way or the other, BioWare actually has numbers for how many romances are going on and with which characters.

We're probably not going to be seeing anything like a romance pack, and maybe not even anything on the Normandy (since they have to redistribute a bunch of content if they want to add or change anything), but that doesn't mean BioWare can't add some nice callouts on the missions and stuff (assuming they bring the whole squad back for each one, which I've been demanding they do).

Though even if it's not romance specific, my only criteria anymore is really just that it has to have more Kaidan. I want more content with the entire squad (and Steve, since he has to fly us there), but truthfully, if it ended up being more content with everybody except for Kaidan, I'd likely pass just on principle.

I'm betting on some new missions or content that comes with DLC. I don't think they'll do a full blown romance DLC, but added dialogue or things in their Leviathan or Omega DLC are possible.

If that romance poll has shown anything, is that there's no clear singular winner in terms of the ' most popular ' contest for L/I, if anything the stuff they did for thane,jack,jacob and maybe even tali are proof that they don't really give two ****s about the less important characters. You also have to remember, that the media would likely have a freaking field day at the thought of what could essentially be boiled down to virtual porn. Certinally we don't see it that way, but you don't exactly pickup a romance novel because of the plot do you?..There's also the fact that studies after studies have shown that DLC, while profitable, becomes far less profitable as time goes on(thus their reasoning for Day 1 DLC) and at some point you need to stop thinking about $10 ad-on's and concentrate on the next project. Thus I give ME3 4-5 good DLC packs and 1-2years tops before Bioware gives us the plunge, and thus I bet it'll be this useless non-sense like the leaked leviathan crap.

A side-mission that will do nothing for the story line and change nothing of the ending, it'll be some useless EMS score in the end and that sadden's me, because what *I* would like to see are side-missions without Shepard as the main character. Kaidan going to rescue his squad, Samara going back to thessia, ect.

my thoughts exactly...

The only thing I can see these things doing is probably letting me vent a little bit. Video games are the last form of story driven media where 'adult content' it still taboo. Which is halrious when you think that a majority of studies have show most video game players are 30-40 years old. 

You know what else is great? The fact that we're even talking about this is a testimate to how entangled we are in Bioware's web and how much we love the characters they've created for us. It just goes to show that they've done a great job already. 


anyway, I took the survey... I'll feel better before I go to bed and remember that even though I modded in ME1/2 the v/o scenes will still be missing from the hospital visit and on the cronos scene in the morning.

I'll let the fan-fics fill-in the missing content.

There were things with Kaidan that never got to see. Aside from some hopeful additional flirting on the Normandy, or some post sex scene flirting would be nice, we never did get to go get that bite on the citadel after we established the romance.

The media will turn a twist on anything to make it look bad. If they wanted to they could make the case that it's virtual porn, but it pretty much is already - just doesn't show anything.  

It would be nice to play as your LI to find Shepard, or play as your LI in a specific scene. I think it would be nice to maybe something about their past. Like we could play as a younger Kaidan in his brain camp.

Hi all, I only romanced Kaiden once so that doesn't make me much of a kaidenmancer ,
but I was just wondering if when you do fill out the survey that at the end where it says who else you would like romanceable can you find it in your hearts to tick a couple of the boxes there for those of us that would really like to romance a character that wasn't included. For me that was James, so I ticked James and a couple of the other boxes for characters that I have noticed the most want of a romance option. 
But I still chose the options for more interection and content for you wonderful people that did romance him regulary and want more. So I'm hoping some of you will find it in your hearts to return the favour.
