Lol. So I see I missed a lot in the past few pages. Obvious troll is obvious. BW's name might be mud in a lot of people's books these days but they would never do that. Also I think there's a pretty equal number of femsheps and brosheps on this board, so it definitely doesn't make sense that s/s Kaidan romancers are more vocal (unless of course you're counting the ME Rule 34 page in which there is a boderline disturbing/hilarious amount of s/s Kaidan pron...yikes).

He says they don't hear enough from straight females and the vs in general isn't that popular to begin with. He also says nothing has been decided for certain yet and half the team don't want it and that he is not part of the deciding team but that they have a lot of dlc planned and limited money. If this is true then I am done with Bioware! Even though the game is done and everything, there is lots of dlc on the way and this is not fair!

Hopefully I will have more info as time passes and I will post them here!

Gay guy here. I like that there is possibility for future content for s/s Kaidan in the future; however, I will not bother to even purchase it if it makes Kaidan completly gay. Him being bi was one of the defining parts of his characteristicts, and why I liked him more. I also wouldn't buy it if it meant that femShep could not romance him. 

And - no offense to the Cortez mancers here - I really don't want another Steve Cortez.

Okay, a few reactions:

1. Thanks for sharing this info, even though I'm taking it with a grain of salt.

2. I'm surprised, M!Shep/Kaidan fans are "more vocal" than FemShep/Kaidan fans? Just by looking at this thread alone, I'm kinda shocked at that. I mean, I know there are a few MShep/Kaidan fans here, but I always thought we were outnumbered by FemShep/Kaidan fans. Maybe we actually are, but I can understand how M!Shep/Kaidan fans are more vocal… I certainly am… plus there's that entirely separate same-sex thread, and 95% of the time, people are talking about Kaidan in there.

3. I don't think it's fair, really, to make Kaidan completely "gay" and deny FemShep/Kaidan fans additional content. Why not make content for both?

4. About the "VS in general" not being popular to begin with… this I can concur with, it seems obvious everywhere that people seem to like Garrus, Tali, Miranda and them a lot more. :[

5. Male Shep already gets WAY more romance options than FemShep to begin with. Admittedly, FemShep gets way more same-sex romance content than MaleShep (Liara, Traynor, Diana Allers, Kelly Chambers vs. Kaidan and Steve), but BioWare shouldn't deny more content to the only straight FemShep romance that spans all three games.

6. I just hope we get new Kaidan content, period.

Replaying ME1 and just wondering. How does renegade go over with Kaidan? I've only ever played paragon and wanted to try it out.

And while we're at it, is a renegade playthrough in ME2 as fun as ME1? I know it sucks in ME3, won't be going there.

Nice attempted troll--or if you're not trolling, then you were trolled by your "friend".

I've got a friend who works for EAware as well, and he can tell me stuff about planned DLC until he's blue in the face...but that doesn't mean I'll believe him. Why? Because he's not part of the ME team. Even if he WERE part of the ME team, I still wouldn't believe him.

It's rather nice in ME2. What I like in ME2 Renegade is that you're not a bad guy. You're just a quick tempered soldier with a borderline sense of humor
My Shep is Paragon but I always choose Renegade answers/actions when dealing with a**holes PNJ (who are legion ). That's just too funny. She ends up being a Paragade 
(My favorite is telling Udina where I told the Council to shove their reinstatement)

(Check this link if you wanna see the kind of actions/answers a renegade Shep can do, but don't if you want to discover them in your playthrough)

(Edit : By the way, is there anyone still playing ME3 multiplayer ? That'd be fun if I could play with some of you  )

Can't say... never owned any console. But if ME2 and ME3 are really fun on PC, I remember ME1 was designed for XBoX if I'm not mistaking, and sure felt that way.
It took me some time to handle the gameplay on my PC, I guess it should be really easier on a console.

May I present the following POV;

How many S/S romance options are there for femshep in ME1(1-Liara), ME2(3, Samara,Kelly, Monrith) and ME3(FOUR- Samantha,Kelly,Liara, Diana)?

How many S/S romance options are there for maleshep in ME1- 0, ME2? Zero, ME3? Two.. Kaidan, and Cortez, if I have to explain that due to said Kaidan relations there's acutally only ONE choice, you should find a different thread. 

I don't really think exclusive content like this would happen. Might as well be asking for different endings, and clearly they've made dialog built for both fem and male shep work in the past.

However, purely from the perspective that there litertally is just not a lot of Mshep S/S content in the entire trilogy, that said players who didn't have an avenue before where they do suddenly now (and with a super-sexy main character) yes, this rumor has some logic to it. Bioware for whatever reason decided that a sci-fi Male lead couldn't be gay, up until the last part of the of the trilogy, which is odd considering Bioware's long history of openly embrasing such. It's kind of why I like them as a developer, and I know there have been 1-2 articles from certian review sites on the issue.
