Isn't comic-con coming up soon?  I bet we'll hear something around that time.  I can't wait either.  

SDCC is this weekend.  It might even start Wed or Thurs.  I read on the BW blog that they'd have the newest MP DLC available for demo, but only "hints" for SP DLC info.  Hopefully they'll at least be obvious hints. 
And Sbarge will be there too (*squee*), too bad I'm on the east coast.

Ugh.  So probably no SP info until comic-con.  Also, I'm so jealous of people who get to meet RS.  There was a convention around here (FL) recently but the only ME people there were Michael Hogan (Bailey) and D.C. Douglas (Legion).  I definitely would have shown up just for Hogan (big BSG fan) but I couldn't get the time off in time.  I think I would have called in sick for RS though.

well, I decided to dust-off the 10-year old writing skills after reading some *really* good Mskenko stuff over the weekend.

This is what I came up with over the last 8 hours. There was no story board, it's totally free-written. I cringe when I look over it--it seems very... bland? Or maybe it's just my vision of the last EC moments and it so happens that's what I think *everyone* wants. I'm never satisfied with myself once I commit to do something, and I know if I don't get this out there i'll nit--pick it into something else. I also know I need a thesaurus.. badly, and my imagery needs tons of work, I also know that it's nothing particularly new or exciting so far, but constructive criticism is what I need, and oh do I have plans.. so please give it(criticism) freely! I'm telling myself that I need to make sure I know who these characters acutally are in this kind of medium and that I know how to write them to feel familiar (which is harder than it sounds) . If you were bored to tears after the first paragraph, well, that's OK too, as long as you tell me why.

it is very slightly AU as you'll see, but nothing drastic, yet.

I'm curious if anyone in the thread is computer savvy?  I'm having issues with my ME3 game and I'm afraid to ask in the PC support thread because there is always someone who makes me feel like an idiot for asking anything.

If anyone is could you let me know if it's okay to ask you a question about my game? Purdy please!

I also have something to admit.  I only have one Garrus romance on my pc ME3 game and one on my Xbox ME3 game, but I'm thinking of doing another because I liked it so much, but it makes me feel guilty  

I have some new screenshots of my solider shep with Kaidan but I haven't uploaded them to photobucket yet, so I will get on that soon and hopefully post one.  <3

Only read a bit of it but it looks awesome so far. I saw a few grammatical problems but that was pretty much the extent of the issues that I saw. Really great job putting yourself out there. You're a lot braver (and I might I add a lot more talented) than I am. Let me know if you want someone to look over your stuff for you.

On a different note, does anyone remember a thread that someone made on the general forums about wanting to avoid s/s interactions in games? One of the mods gave a pretty epic answer (pretty much telling the poster to grow the **** up) that I really liked but I haven't been able to track the thread down again. I think it mentioned Kaidan specifically.

Okay..here goes.  A few days ago my ME3 game started randomly freezing then the screen would go black.  I could still hear the sound then the picture would come back and it would continue to play normally.  Sometimes it will go to desktop and sometimes not.  But it doesnt "crash" as in it keeps playing and the picture will come back up on the screen.  

My vid card drivers are all up to date and I tried running the game and origin as administrator and none of that seemed to make a difference.  

My computer specs are:

Intel Core i7-2600k
16 GB RAM
64 bit OS
Windows 7 home premium
NVidia GTX 550 Ti

I hope you can figure something out because I can't and it's making me sad 

Edit: Also it only happens during ME3.  My other 2 ME games run fine with no issues.

if it only happens with ME3, uninstall & re install. Save your save games somewhere else if you're paranoid about that. 

Although I seriously doubt that it could be something that's over-heating (I have an almost equally powered setup and ME3 frame rates hardly flex with tons of FXAA and AF) You can also download utilities like gpu-z or HWmonitor to see if anything's where it shouldn't be when the game 'freezes'.

Thank you so much for replying blmlozz!  <3  Tonight or tomorrow I will try unistalling and reinstalling and let you know how that turns out.  I didn't think it could be overheating since my computer didn't feel warm at all and it was only doing it during ME3.  If that doesn't fix it I don't know what else to try

The thread was beyond ridiculous.  It was something like,  the guy wanted to exclude his exposure to s/s romances in ME3 in the same that that you could exclude exposure to gore in DA. 

And the mod was just like, no.  In the real world gay people exist so get used to it.  Although more professionally put I'm sure.

I think I remember that thread. I thought it was called something like, option to turn off gay romance or something but nothing's coming up. Was it deleted? Do they do that here? None of those words are turning anything up in searches. It wasn't all that long ago. Maybe about the time ME3 came out I think.

Been playing ME3 for most of the day (ah, the joys of unemployment!) and been checking the forums on and off today. Saw your question and wanted to ask if you have updated the drivers for your GTX 550 lately. If not. just hop onto the Nvidia website and check if newer drivers are available. If you have updated your drivers recently, create a restore point for your pc first and then try rolling back your drivers to the previous ones.

Even more so, thank you for reading my question and responding.  I did update my drivers just today and I got the vid card with my computer in January. 

I figured out how to make copies of my save files a few mins ago and am trying to work up the nerve to unistall and reinstall.  I'm not sure how to do the restore thing  .

Kinda off topic, but I just finished watching Once Upon a Time's first season (where Kaidan's voice actor Raphael Sbarge plays Jiminy Cricket) and I must say I LOVE THIS SHOW! The fact that Kaidan's voice actor was in the show got me to watch it in the first place... Sbarge's character is a little minor compared to some of the main cast but I loved his involvement in the story.

Did you ever clean it since then? That's more laptop-specific stuff, but I remember several cases when I took Great Balls of Dust out of my PC vidcard cooling system. After which it usually worked surprisingly much smoother.. <-P

Why not just do a Genesis ME2 run through? That game is so fast. Miranda's death is so lame.
