As for childhood crushes; as many of you know, I am weirdo, and I'm just not really into objectifying dudes. I can appreciate handsome guys, but shirtless pics and stuff just don't do anything for me.

HOWEVER, there is one man who turned me into a drooling fangirl in highschool and college:

I can't remember any of my childhood crushes, which is really sad considering how young I am But I've had a bad memory for awhile, so that's probably why! Anyway, as far as crushes go, I do have current ones, if we can share those! For awhile now, I've been crushing wicked hard on Chris Pine heh. And Matt Dallas, ever since Kyle XY! But anyway, I thought I'd contribute to the pic-spamming of Kaidan! This one I just googled, so I don't know who made it or whether it has been posted here already, but I thought it was kinda nice, even if I prefer Kaidan with ManShep myself hehe.

I'm partial to this one even though it seems to be more obscure, but I'm generaly partial to Pink's songs and the words really fit.



P.S.  while I do have a certain physical preferences (fit), for the most part - its the personality.  the deadpan humor with joker made me interested and it just got better from there.  banter with Ash won me over   combine that with thoughtfulness, attention to detail, and just general niceness - waht's not to like

I've had an eternal crush on Alan Rickman ever since I saw him in Die Hard. He's delicious as Professor Snape in the HP movies. Of course, the biggest irony is that he's actually a blonde IRL. Hah. =p

Alan Rickman is amazing, he's a great actor! Love him in Sweeney Todd, Die Hard, Harry Potter, Galaxy Quest, Perfume, etc. (huge fan!)

Shepard is chosen to become the first human SpecTRe because of his/her past accomplishments. Because (s)he couldn't finish the test review with Nihlus due to his death, (s)he has to prove his/her capability by proving Saren's betrayal. After that, (s)he receives the appointment, but not to specifically bring Saren in. Technically, the Council could have tasked any existing SpecTRe with bringing Saren in. Shep just volunteered. Essentially.

What I'm getting at here is that there is no precedence for appointing someone a SpecTRe just to bring in another rogue SpecTRe. What I've seen hinted at by BioWare folks is that there is something important that VS accomplishes post-Horizon that earns them SpecTRe status. Totally on-topic, Kaidan-related. See? Right here.

The trial is on Earth because Alliance is trying to play nicey-nice with the batarians without physically giving them Shepard. Because everyone knows the batarians would just execute Shep.

I want to know what it is that Kaidan did do to gain SpecTRe status! But also, I am wondering if ME3 will even start out with anything before the trial. I'm afraid the opening scene will be the trial with no tense/awkward/sexy Shep and Kaidan reunion until after many, many minutes (if not hours) into the game. I would love for Kaidan to come fetch Shep for the trial even if she does want to go willingly.

Edit: it's totally fun to type SpecTRe instead of Spectre. Is why I did it. Not to be a correcting prissy-pants like the rest of my post seems to be. Sorry! Oh, and added bold to quote to clarify what I was responding to.

Hi Lurker... Actually, Shep was ordered by the Brass to acheive SpecTRe status.  If you played renegade, you know she didn't want anything to do with it.  You know, that the first of anything is usually scarificed for the good of politics and so did she.

Shepard was a Spectre because Udina had been hammering them about getting one. She didn't "prove" anything except Saren's treason. She was already being considered as a Spectre before Eden Prime, after all. Had she not been on their short list, she probably wouldn't have been sent for Saren and the Council might've picked someone else, like Anderson.

I would guess the VS, after Horizon, is on their short list, too. (Or maybe even before Horizon.)

Or because of it.  Maybe they assign him to find out what Shep's been up to...and he actually finds out.  I'm not sure my Shep would want him to see the footage of her reconstruction.  She sure as heck didn't.<_<

It's the song.  I have never been able to warm to Anders after my first playthrough where I was slavishly devoted to him only to have him do something unforgiveable and worse, unpreventable.  Now I mostly just see him as trying to ****block Fenris.

You're right. The song is epic. Although I also adore Anders, ****block or not.

Okay, I am not a fan of Pink very much either, but someone mentioned in the KAST a long time ago that her Funhouse album fits Shepard perfectly in ME2. And I listened to it, and it completely does.
