My Fem!Shep actually approached hate with Liara post-Thessia. She's having a breakdown. WTF does she think Shepard's been going through the entire game?
Gezz... I really wish there was a scene before answering the Asari councilior though, Shepard's leaning against the wall staring at the terminal, then the LI (if on ship) come up behind him/er and just places a hand on their shoulder, or gives them a warm brief hug. Just something physical but small to remind Shepard that they're there for her/him and s/he's not alone.

the full version here if you missed it. I admire how she works with hands, fingers and face experssions here. Puting on ring is just awesome. Both times. And I also love admiral's face.I've been staring at this one for about 5 minutes now. I have a sudden urge to go look for wedding fics now.
Yeah, I also can not understand how post-Thessia Kaidan autolines may even exist. I mean..after footlocker cut, and back then it was not that bad (now as you think of it, hehe). I'm ok with headcanoning and imagining all kind of things, but here I 100% agree - it should have happened on screen. Probably, without even word lines, with fracking shared model animation. Like a hand on the shoulder, attempt to hug, and then shep tells him to leave and accepts incoming call.I really wish there was a scene before answering the Asari councilior though, Shepard's leaning against the wall staring at the terminal, then the LI (if on ship) come up behind him/er and just places a hand on their shoulder, or gives them a warm brief hug

How can it be? Unused line in game? I always thought that thing was just a fan-art.

It is mostly implied, but iirc it is mentioned in LOTSB in ME2 and 2-3 times during in ME3. Shepard never says the G word, but he does 'remember lost friends and wished they were here'Same goes for "virmire guilt". I don't think that it depends on how often someone mentions it. It's a "player-side" thing for me, and I think that is right. Because if there were some constant reminders (or worse - "autoemotions", see post-Thessia) it would mean that BW "canons" Shepard's guilt. Which is bad. As "BW-canoning" any sort of emotion and feeling.
are you saying that something 'should' have happened at that point or that something did happen(that I missed) via banter-talk and it should have been mentioned with on-screne action?Yeah, I also can not understand how post-Thessia Kaidan autolines may even exist. I'm saying that Kaidan should've supported Shep post-Thessia, in game, with proper cut-scene. I'm not sure about rest of LIs, but Kaidan's lines sound like he's more worried about poor blue Liara at that moment, then about Shep. Which can hardly be true. I believe this person does not need shep's combat suit readings to understand how she feels at that moment.are you saying that something 'should' have happened at that point or that something did happen(that I missed) via banter-talk and it should have been mentioned with on-screne action?

I do not totally agree with BWs "whiny-guilty" concept, to be honest - more like awfully tired, upset and angry, but that definitely felt really bad.

Just as I said - "auto-emotions" of all kind are wrong. That's why I'm ok without BW making shep openly grief about Virmire victim (Ash here).Yes, it's a shame but the way they ddrraggedd on about it trying to force out emotion for the sake of it made the whole thing really odd.

Depends on what you know. ME anime trailer was shown. And I've found videos from 3 new Earth MP maps...I expected something much more from Vancouver. London fortunately does not involve around-the-beam running, but it looks as empty and dull as I expected. Same thing as with Goddess - dead scenery. Could be just me, but I can't feel it as part of main story. It annoys. So what did I miss with comic-con yesterday? Any ME news?

Because Liara is the writer's pet.
The whole Thessia thing was sort of... meh to me. I didn't get why we supposed to feel so down about everything. Oh, Cerberus got the VI? We'll chase after him then. Yes, it's a shame but the way they ddrraggedd on about it trying to force out emotion for the sake of it made the whole thing really odd.
Apparently though, you were originally going to have to make the choice between the Virmire Survivor or Liara to save, which is why the mood is so low there. See now -that- would have given more sense to why Shepard is flipping out so much, especially if you lost Kaidan/Ashley after sacrificing the other half on Virmire. I think we'd see even more complaining aboutAdam JensonKai Lang's Diabolus ex Machina though.

Me either. It's mildly entertaining but nothing about it compels me to go back and play it day after day. These new maps/characters/missions included. At this point SP DLC (and maybe comics and books) is what is going to keep me interested in the ME universe.
Characters are meh, I dislike that a lot of that stuff was never seen and heared in MEU before (like vorcha biotics and alliance biotic-ninjas), it feels like retcons.Me either. That said, I've joined a few matches with random players in the past who have taken things a little too seriously - one guy complaining how the Vorcha player was stealing all the grenades, another who complained that someone lead a Banshee right to him... I just leave those matches there and then, no matter how far through we are, because that's not what it's about.

I'm finding the thing that I enjoy about MP is the social, having a bunch of friends I play with regularly, plus it's just huge amounts of fun... it's a different game, and the combat is really fun.
