There's nothing wrong about discussing Kaidan's face model, it's even very adequate. What better place than this thread for this topic to be discussed?
I however was happy with Kaidan's face being just a creation and altough I was a bit disappointed - and this, to be clear, has nothing to do with the actual real life person who lent his face to Kaidan - this doesn't change anything for me. The two of them are just two different persons for me, the best I can think is "wow, yeah, he looks a bit like Kaidan", but not the other way around, that's really interesting But I can understand why people would have idealized Kaidan so much that they would feel uneasy about discovering his face model, it kind of breaks the illusion. The most important thing is not to be disrespectful towards Luciano (yeah, I call him Luciano), that's what matters, the rest is just different levels of Kaidan addictions and ways to deal with it.

Again, it's against the rules of this forum to insult people.  So please be a little more thoughtful.

People in the Kaidan thread have been looking for his face model since the first game came out.  The thread is getting a bunch of pics right now because people are excited.  In a day or two, it will die down, and other than someone posting them occasionally when he comes up in conversation, it's not going to be the focus of this thread.  It's not much different than when people talk about Raphael Sbarge's other roles.

And I personally am not doing anything but asking people to respect others in this thread.  If you Adblock the pics you don't want to see, it solves your problem without causing drama.  You don't *have* to insult the model, or people who think he's attractive.  It really doesn't hurt to be polite, especially on a forum on the internet.

Me too... Altough, for me it was easy, Kaidan, and that's it. Not that I had so many other genuine choices as a straight female...  Mmmh... let's imagine that your Shep would have to choose between the two (lucky!), which one would it hurt him more to see romance someone else? The one your Shep would be the most jealous about, maybe that's the one you should keep for your Shep? I know, not a very good advice but hey... I can't figure out HOW you EVER got tired of Kaidan in the first place ANYWAY

I was really surprised when I realized who the VA for Steve was.  Then really excited because I knew there was a reason he sounded so familiar (Sopranos)! But yeah--I totally agree--he's got a really nice voice. 

Raphael Sbarge though...hm...it could be because I've been playing KotOR for the past 3 days but I'd find it very hard not to romance any character that he was voicing. 

Then again, in ME I'm always torn between Garrus and Kaidan, and I'd be lying if I said that it had nothing to do with their VAing.  So I totally understand being pulled in different directions.

Sorry but it's just nowhere near as good as Sbarge's voice talent.  Case closed.

While I never interacted with Steve as a romance interest, his character really grew on me, and I think his voice has really a lot to do with it. Kaidan's voice is a big part of his character, and there's a big amount of teasing in this, with all the hesitations, the pauses, the tripping, etc. - his voice acting itself just tricks you into guessing all this amount of lovely things he just doesn't say that you wish/think he just might be saying/thinking. His voice acting, his lines, are flirtatious all the way.

Steve on the other hand, the character, again, because of his voice, struck me as a very believable and realistic character - much unlike Kaidan who's just some sort of Mr. Perfect / DreamDate imo. But again, i didn't romance him. His voice is very soft and gentle, I think it stands out from all other characters who may sound more caricatural. I'm not much of a fan of the crying part, because I thought it was not very natural, too rushy, but I like the contrast with the character aftewards at the Purgatory. Shame on me, on my first "shortcut-to-Kaidan" playthrough, I didn't save him because I hadn't dicussed enough with him. On the second "normal" playthrough, I had the full friendly story with him, and I liked that you get to "save" him in the end.

So I understand that you may be hesitating between the two. Good luck on that one
