Chibi did some renders for me for "Jungle World" the fan-fic in my sig.  Here is the first one that is for the last chapter, it's Kaidan watching a message that Shepard had left for him before the Earth mission.

Yeah, I've read things like that here and there. Are you happy because it makes Kaidan more real maybe? More tangible? Making it possible that you could come across a guy like that IRL? But you know, for all we know, that Luciano guy may be a complete ass. ...  Actually, he really looks like a nice guy.
Some people say "Kaidan is my dream BF/husband", so maybe it feels kind of wrong to think that the perfect guy is just a video game character and that any RL person would feel just dull in comparison.

Anyway, I've been thinking about this (again), and well, i tried to think about some similar example. Let's say you think Han Solo is your ideal man (video game vs. movie, etc. i know, but still, just an example). So it would be OK to try and see any similarities with Harrison Ford, to watch interviews with him and so on. But to drool over him shirtless or whatever as if he was Han Solo, it just doesn't make sense. And also, it's a bit, ah, cheapening Han Solo's character. Does that make sense to anybody here? I feel sometimes that people here are going head over heels about some "impostor" or "evil twin" - and again, this has nothing to do with Mr. Costa. 

All in all, I really also wanted to add, let's not "fight" over this, it's really lame.
 
I don't think those Luciano pics should be hidden, as if something, ah, censored, or to be ashamed of, or ugly, or insulting, etc., whatever. I have my personal opinion on this, and it may be very harsh, but everybody has always posted here what they wanted to post, and I think it's really good, that people should feel free to do so. Also, Doodle is right about this, if we followed that logic, there wouldn't be any pic that could be posted here, cause it would probably always end up displeasing someone. Sometimes though, it's nice to be careful about what you're posting, or when you're posting, just not to hurt people's feelings unecessarily. For instance, I don't post Shenko pics with my Shep, I feel people here are not interested about that Shenko, but would rather see just Kaidan pic or default Shenko (ShepLoo and default femShep). That's not the only reason of course.

I think it's also OK to say you don't like something you see or read here, as long as it's not done with agressivity or disrespect. I've never hidden how uneasy I was at first about gay Shenko, how pissed I was about Kaidan becoming bi/gay/shepStruck/whatever, and I like to think it's OK to discuss that, just as it is OK to discuss Luciano.  

@Andreas, you say it's only been 4 days (also did you read all of my boring blabla? I feel you only read half of it, but that's ok), but somehow i feel that the Luciano phenomenon will last a lot longer, just because this is the end of ME, but anyway, that's not the point.

You were the one dreaming about this right?  I think it looks pretty good. Still don't know about matching outfits myself though. Ah yes... PC has a lot of advantages.

I'm sure the excitement will last a lot longer I'm just saying it's in full swing right now because he was just discovered days ago after years of searching. If it were a month or two from now and people were complaining it would make more sense to me.

So it's only natural that some people are excited about Costa while others are not but that doesn't give the one group the right to say "hey don't post that here, I don't like that version of Kaidan."

Yes I believe you can.   But if you had the option to romance Kaidan in ME1... why wouldln't you take it?

Hey, so you did answer me. Nice, sometimes I feel my typing is just lost in some digital vortex.
Anyway, you're absolutely right! That's what I was happy to understand from here, really! When I think of you, I think about your art piece at the hospital. It is really beautiful. I'm just glad I virtually "met" people here who create things like that through Shenko. I don't mean to sound oversentimental here, that's really not my type, but still, it makes me glad.
  
So I think it's good, that even though we all see something different in the character, we can share pics, links, discuss, whatever, without tearing each other apart. Still, this Costa frenzy came to me as yet another surprise. But I'm pretty sure I'll get used to it over the pages. About that Solo stuff, well, yes, people are just different, it's just, what I've learned from here, is that people have very different levels of emotional investment in this. So people reacting a bit harshly, oftentime it means because they feel hurt, so I just tend to be easy on them. But that doesn't mean you can be disrespectful or agressive, I agree.
 
Still, don't expect me to stop saying "I don't like that version of Kaidan" now & then. I'll even make sarcastic jokes about that, but my jokes are never meant to hurt anyone, or make fun of anyone. I wouldn't feel offended if anybody made fun of my questioning/theories/ranting, if I felt it was in a good-hearted and respectful manner.

Oh man, I really would have been happier with an option to talk about the letter.  Not that my Shepard had any problem with him moving on with the doctor, but acknowledging it at all would have been more depth than just more trust issues left over from Horizon.  

And I HATE the fact that he uses the word "cheat", even though my Shepards never romanced anyone in ME2 -- that was a term that I heard Casey Hudson use during ME3's marketing.  BLEH.  Shepard and Kaidan broke up as of Horizon, and they have the choice of renewing the relationship in ME3.  At least, that's how I always saw it.
