Well, Joker was there too.

Joker is Joker. He's more part of Normandy then crew (or squad). 8P
I'll need to check timelines, I think. How I understand it - Shepard was already aboard for some time when Udina+Anderson talk happened. Joker, Kaidan and Chalkwas introduce themselves - that's true. But I may suppose that it was done more for gameplay reasons, not because they have never seen each other. And, yes - another character who knows Shepard and Alenko lognre thn player. 8)

Looks OK to me.  Looks longer because Shepard's is overtop of Kaidan's

It's something that I adjusted several times while drawing it, though seeing it after a day away from the piece I think you're right, it does look a tad bit too long so I'll probably tweak it more. Anatomy has never been my strongpoint.

EDIT: Just fixed it and it looks a lot better now, thank you Isaac   I knew something about it was bothering me.

@Andreas: yeah, I thought so too about the forearms, but didn't want to criticize while you didn't ask for anything.  Maybe it's actually too far to reach? So lower would probably work better  (I don't mean this a genuine suggestion.)

Can I say I liked Kaidan better from the hospital WIP? What I liked about hospital Kaidan is that he looks as if you had made him your own, and then delivered your vision of him, while making him at the same time "accurate", but also very personal. Also, if I may add, the upper lip feels a bit wrong. Smiling Kaidan is probably more difficult to draw than serious or sad Kaidan though. Your Shep looks great as always, better then the original stuff imo (all ShepLoos accounted for, game, illustrations and so on).
Anyway, again, thank you for sharing , I'll just shut up now. 
EDIT>  i'm curious, are you using reference material when you draw or just freehand from your mind? You could be using Costa material now you know...

That would be an awfully complicated way for Shep to "reach" her goal.
While there are some many more obvious and natural ways to accomplish that.
