@mimitochan I start out from memory in the initial sketch and then gather different in game screenshots as close to the original pose as I can. I wouldn't reference Costa because he looks too different from the game model, maybe if I had referenced real life Mark Vanderloo then it could work since Vanderloo looks slightly different too.

Kaidan: *smiles, moves Shepard aside and sends slight biotick kick right in the middle of the meadow*

That's a lovely fantasy, I totally picture Shep daydreaming about this during her rare leisure time, I love the Cerberus vs. Alliance uniform thing.

But... you edited that! Thank you for answering in detail I thought maybe it could be useful, even though the both of them are different, just for the extra angles you might be missing at some point, not really the expressions and so on. In order to... ah, extrapolate from them for Kaidan maybe? Anyway, please post the next steps here , I'm really curious to see how it will turn out.

Wow, it's a multi-page picture explosion! .  I'll add one in a sec.  Next chapter is up: If It Meant Living-66: Prodigal / Alt. DA Link .  I also finally got an invite to Archive of Our Own, so the story is up there as well! archiveofourown.org/users/Graceyn.

I'm not going to lie to you guys - Kaidan isn't in this chapter very much.  Where is he?  Sorry, all I can say right now is "busy"...

This chapter is, above all, Miranda's story.  It covers Horizon, but we don't even get to Horizon until over 1/3 of the way in.  Like a lot of people, I didn't care for Miranda in the slightest the first time I played ME2.  Over subsequent playthroughs, she slowly grew on me a good bit.  I'd like to think I took her to a better, more developed place in my ME2 storyline...and even further here.

There is also some nice Garrus development and plot furtherance, not to worry!  And to make up for a lack of Kaidan, I DID do some screenshot art (which is somewhat relevant to the end of the chapter) :

They're in the BioWare store if you haven't seen them. I highly recommend it. One of my favorite shirts to wear, and SO comfortable!
