I always felt there was some kind of blank between frozen Kaidan and the Horizon confrontation... I really thought we'd get to see Shep discovering Kaidan in his "statue" state, how dramatic it would have been! Instead of that he just magically appears from behind some block there...

Yeah, I was hoping for a scene like that. Like the one where you come across the husk body and there's a little conversation with your squad.

Well, yeah, i totally expected SOMETHING. We're picking up hints about this with Shep throughout the whole mission, so I was disappointed.

The only reasonable headcanon with no space-magic involved is that at some moment (like boss fight or collector's ship taking off) everyone who were there "unfroze". And as he woke up he chanced to be nearby (which even makes sense, he was caring about that targeting system right before they hit), heared voices and\\or shots and came out. Yeah, looks poor, but better then nothing. Else- space magiс and teleportations. Or worse..... IT! 8P

I have started a new MaleShepard (Engeener) from ME2 with Genesis Comic on the PS3. After two N7 missions the Normandy goes back to Citadel and Shepard going to Kaidan (Botschaft-Unterhaus I don't know how its called in the english version). The Scene begins and ends like have Shepard a LI already, But Norrec has been waiting for Kaidan.

He is my first Shepard with TechSkills (except the Warden class) that should come together with Kaidan. The other Tech classes came with Steve together. All biotik classes with Kaidan.
Only now with the engineer, it does not work.

I really could not understand what your problem is. But as imported engineer femShep I may say that Kaidan's romance works perfectly fine.

I see your problem,

you cannot start a romance with Kaidan until the dinner date unless you've already locked in another romance.

I unlocked the slayer first

then shadow... stopped playing Slayer...

now i unlocked the destroyer...

i can't stop playing it and how it kicks ass with the cerberus harrier.

I think "Botschaft-Unterhaus" is the "Citadel" in the English version.  So if that's right, you went on the date and he just calls you his brother and doesn't make a pass at you or anything on the "date"?  Is that about right? 

Did you accidentally romance someone else?  My husband accidentally romanced Liara in ME3 because he was just skipping dialogue and the "friendly" dialogue was something like "let's be more than friends" so he got locked into that romance.  Or maybe you accidentally romanced Steve?  Although I can't see how anyone could do that by accident and not realize it since you make out with at the end.

Norrec has not flirt in Mass Effect 2 and  in Mass Effect 3 he did not flirt with others.
Perhaps the game thinks Norrec has a romance with Steve because i choose the blue answer at the talk with Steve to ask him to take a day off.
But I do not think so because of the earlier rounds.

All romances can be locked in After the Coup,

Steve at the bar
Kaidan at the date
Liara and her ninja-ness when you skip dialog

No, you CANNOT lock into a romance (steve, Kaidan, Liara etc etc) until AFTER the coup (Piority Citadel II)

Steve locks in purgertory (the bar)
Kaidan locks in on the citadel date

they can only be locked in after piority citadel II
