Talking about bugs on romancing, I found something strange too.
In my current playthrough, I romanced Jack in ME2, and I was going to change her for Kaidan (who else?) in ME3. Ok, I had the dinner with kaidan, he was looking for someone handsome I wasn't far (lucky me), so the dinner went well. But I went to purgatory after that, I was expecting some kind of comment about Kaidan from Jack, but instead she acted like im still available, the options were that he still cares about her or not, I chose yes, but I though he would say he's with someone else. Well, he didn't, Now Jack thinks I'm romancing her and Kaidan thinks I'm romancing him. My Shepard just want to bang everyone or what is it going on here?
Oh, I talked with Steve in Purgatory too, He knows about Kaidan, but not about Jack...
This playthrouhg is going to be fun...

then shadow... stopped playing Slayer...

I unlocked shadow and destroyer too, shadow was neat, but I like just sitting behind walls / headbang rushing and then sword fighting (have LOTS of stacked melee modifers.. can 2 shot nemeis/phantoms and 1 shot lesser enemies)  better than doing a sneak and stab. 

Hehe, i can 1 nemesises and phantoms on silver (well a evolution in shadow strike finishes off the phantom) and i'm such a melee newb and die.... a few times... sometimes none

i do a 6/6/6/0/6 build

I need to respec mine, I just don't use the nova/long range power that saps your barriers and I think I have 4 points in that which I can use elsewhere.

that was my shadow build...

my slayer build is 6/0/6/6/6 (0 in palm thing)

In fitness i did melee/shield recharge/health

it works like a charm

and since slayers light melee gives invicibility frames you can basicly take out a prime by itself

(charge melee melee melee charge melee melee melee)

also loving it's ability to stagger pyro's

I still only have a destroyer, and he's a great tank 'n all, but he's not exactly cool. Meh, he shoots stuff, he has a weedy rocket launcher on his shoulder, but he can't cartwheel around with a sword, zipping and popping and all that stuff that the slayer or shadow or fury N7 characters can do. I will get them eventually, doing what I can in the weekend challenge to play bronze matches with the indestructible destroyer (with whom I successfully solo'd a bronze match) so I can help others get the team and community goals... so I may get one of the others. Knowing my luck, it'll be Captain America Paladin.

Sentinels are supposed to be glowy blue techie biotic gods, MP has diluted the definition of sentinel quite a lot recently. Not that I don't love Fang, my little Vorcha, but Kaidan is the definition of Sentinel to me.

I discovered that a few hours in, It's AMAZING OMG so fun.

I think I just did all damage for the shock wave and did all health/melee bonuses, didn't go for the sheild delay.

One of my favorite scenes with him, standing watch over her as she traipses through the geth consensus.  True to the meaning of sentinel.

Hey everybody!!! It's been a LONGGGGG while since I've posted AND creeped around in the BSN. Reason being, I was away in college and I promised my sister (another huge Kaidan fan, like myself, since ME1!) that we'd experience the game together once I come back for the summer. That required me to go completely MIA in the Mass Effect world 'til mid-July (yes, FOUR MONTHS AFTER THE RELEASE DATE) to avoid all spoilers. Let me tell you, it wasn't easy.


And now, my sister and I have just finished the game a few hours ago! Overall, we were totally floored throughout the game but not so much at the end, a notion that we knew was, and still is, widely held among those that have played. We appreciated the closure the DLC gave us, but were still a little irked about the endings available to us.


More importantly (really), I think we would have been MORE than content with any of the endings if there was more closure with Sheps & Kaidan's romance (or maybe the romances in the general). I chose the Synthesis ending, and the DLC kind of touched on Kaidan's reaction to Shep's final choice with Crucible (the plaque), but being the HUGE Kaidan fan that I am, what would've made me to TOTALLY satisfied is knowing that Kaidan will live on somehow with a postive outlook, all thanks to the many good things my Kyla Shepard brought to his life (aka A Walk to Remember <3 Idealist, right). I seriously just want his "I will love you 'til the end of time" to be addressed at the end, you know?


Overall, I was wondering from all you Kaidan fans: how do YOU ALL feel about the Bioware's handling of Kaidan's romance, especially the ending? Sasitisfying, or not enough closure? Sorry if this is considered an exausting topic, I haven't been here awhile to take a temperature. :innocent: Thank you!!!

I think that on the overall, people are rather at peace with the endings now. Time has gone by a little, and there's enough space for everybody to headcanon something satisfying and/or materialize it via art, fanfic and so on (much like that wedding pic). 
 
So, from what I understand, you and your sister didn't experience pre-EC endings?

Personally, pre-EC, I've been through a lot of different stages, disbelief, anger, sadness, struggle for understanding. The EC made ME3 endings average, if not good. After some time, they enabled me to be at peace with it.

I really didn't like the evac scene, I mean, specifically for Kaidan, but also on the overall, just the very principle of it (absurd, way too melodramatic, all squad members have the same, cheapens and annihilates the value of the original Kaidan goodbye scene in London) > so i tend to just make it as if it never happened. But i speak for my faithful femShep romance here, for unmodded mShep, it articulates differently from what people say here.

I'm absolutely unable to choose anything else than high EMS Destroy, the memorial scene with hopeful Kaidan and Shep's breathing work for me, that's where i currently left the both of them. I'm currently content with it, if not ecstatic.

EDIT> actually... talking about this makes me a bit sad somehow... I'd rather leave them in some place safe.

Yeah, we never played pre-EC, so we were never part of the fiasco that followed. And I'm might just go ahead with the Destroy ending for the sake of my love for Kaidan and being emotionally content to replay the game. Selfish to say, the possibility of a depressed Kaidan for the rest his life will more negatively affect my ability to replay than wiping out all synthetics (and the amazing EDI ).

You're male Shep, right? I could have missed that. I'm not big mshep expert, but I've heared that for starting fresh s\\s romance, this bottle is kind of important. Msheps can tell you if I'm wrong here.

About N7 T-s. You know, I've been thinking about geting some ME-stuff, but delivery charges to my part of the galaxy are usualy twice as T-price. And they don't have anything special or too attractive. I know some local "pirate" sites which print all sorts of game logos and signs..but that's not too interesting. I've been thinking about creating my own N7 something (T-shirt or hoodie, may be). It should not be too hard. Logo print has just 2 colors (red and whitу if background is black). I could make a stencil on a regular printer with a simple paper knife. And I know that acrylic paints are VERY hard to wash off. I tell you this, because most of spots from kid's "glass paint" survived all possible detregents and multiple 60+C washes, and still look fresh and bright. And paints were not even fabric-specific (probably, the reason of their "immortality").

Multicolored pictures are tricky, though. I'm not that really artist to actually paint on fabric...

And I just loved http://24.media.tumb...4o1_r1_1280.jpg this. it could be a perfect T-shirt print, and I'd love to get one, but image size is too small, I'm afraid...
