I'm pretty new to Mass Effect. I picked up ME2 on PS3 recently totally expecting to not like it. But of course it totally drew me into the world and the amazing characters. And then he was like 'losing you was like losing a limb' and I was like awww, lol. He made my Shep feel like an ass, and I was bummed when he wouldn't join my team... I've been lurking this thread ever since. I just wish I could play ME1.

Anyway, sorry for the long post, I'm just excited for Kaidan in ME3.

Kaidan's, Thane's and Garrus' voices all make me melt. But mainly Kaidan's.

I like Kaidan. Had my respect the second I heard he snapped a guy's neck with a badass biotic kick.

I'm glad you can be bros with him as maleshep. May have costed me the life of Ashley, but I'm glad I'll be able to see him again in ME3.

either he'll be angry at her and it'll be fun to watch someone else go through a horizon-like momment or he'll thank her because it enabled Cerberus to revive Shepard, leaving Shepard with a WTF feeling because they had to take all the anger at Horizon (I like to hate Horizon, because I can see the VS's reasons ... I even wondered for a while if they were right and Cerberus WAS actually leading you on somehow as a story twist)

I like Liara as a character but she holds no real interest for me anyway. Doesn't help how she's always pushed on Shep. I hated the Genesis book, the Rachni were another issue that wasnt addressed properly same as Kaidan being a "good kid" *angry face* I think he's meant to be a bit older than Shepard as well!

Also, there is that pause, when Shep says, "it gave me a new.......appreciation for the Asari." NO, IT DIDN'T and what kind of innuendo is that? 

Yes! This topic makes me want to bash my keyboard. LOL! I don't have the comic, so I looked it up on youtube, and it took me awhile to find one in which someone picked Kaidan.  The way Shepard talked about Liara was even worse than the way she talked to Jacob.  So. Freaking. Creepy.  My Shep certainly thought it was unpleasant.  She felt violated, but did it for the mission because she had to, and thought of it like ripping off a bandaid, just get it overwith. I don't have a problem with Liara in general, but I HATE the way it seems she's forced on the player so much, and the way they diminish Kaidan's character and the relationship that Shepard can have with him (or Ashley).  And the 180 her character did when ME2 came around was kind of weird for me.  And the mind sex.  In front of the whole crew. Including Kaidan.

I hope that Kaidan does direct some of his anger toward Liara.  

Thank goodness for all of the lovely artwork and screencaps to help me get over the aggravation!

You guys have also really made me want to replay KotOR and KotOR2 soon!  I <3 those sexy pilots.  My favourite is definitely Carth, but I can't resist Atton either.

I actually don't mind Liara all that much. She's pretty much a badass bookworm with a bit of a psychosis. I do mind that she seems to be Bioware's default choice as it was said earlier. I won't pick her for either gender Shep I have because I don't like the thought of a Mayfly December romance. I mean when Shep dies, she'll be 200-ish years old. That's a long time to mourn someone.

I've got the genesis comic on PS3 and bought it on 360 when it became available... It replaces Kaidan when you don't import too........... <_< I almost wish I hadn't bought it, but I wanted a single Shepard for Jacob on 360.. Soooo.... (because I am NOT playing 34 hours on Mass Effect to reject Kaidan, no sireee bob)
It's a very poor comic imo.... does a disservice to Kaidan and Ashley... Even the placement of the character when you make choice is actually disgusting ~ an insult to Kaidan and Ash fans...

I found the Genesis comic to be appalling but useful. Useful because I created a male Shepard with Kaidan alive and no ME2 romance, and a female Shepard with Ashley alive (this was the only way that would happen - all my ME1 femSheps have Kaidan alive).

The femShep worked out well as I chose Kaidan as the LI and so had Kaidan's photo all the way through the game. I'm role-playing her as a broken-hearted woman focused solely on the mission - any new LI in ME3 will have to be something special to win her over.

Genesis is bad - if you know ME1 then it's WTF! and if you haven't played ME1 it's 'let's go for the blue alien space chick who can provide mind sex' (subtext)! No pressure from Bioware maybe, but from Genesis most definitely.

Here you go:  http://biowarestore.com/mass-effect  I thought it would be best to present FemShep wearing a helmet, if she got a tee shirt, but I like this.  It's a great drawing and wouldn't be something I'd be ashamed to wear to the grocery store (my criteria for weekend wear).

So umm, am I crazy for hoping for Kaidan in a FemShep trailer or screenshots at this point, or should I just expect Liara and Garrus as usual.  SIGH

You know I have nothing against them...... BUT I am getting.................... bored of seeing them, so bored that they will be lucky if they ever see daylight in my games  Garrus will be asked to calibrate stuff, lots of stuff... And Liara can catalogue everything Kasumi stole 
Kaidan will be getting tons of fresh air though  Apart from when he is *otherwise engaged*
