I'm playing now!! I vacuum cleaned the fangs of my computer,  I didn't even have to open the laptop. And It seems that it works (I don't want to think how dirty it had to be...) I've been playing for a while without overheating, and using the high resolutions, so Im happy now :happy:
Poor Jenkins and Nihlus though...

Come on, he was talking about ME1, its highest preset was done for a PC with config that are now almost history...And cooling pads either add a lot of noise (because multiple and big fans) or do not work (but usually - both). And I'm yet to see one which matches my acer's heating and air inout. My know-how is a thick kid's book under back side of laptop - makes some space for air and comfy angle. And regular cleaning. 8P  

On, PC there is dynamic shadows and that film-grain thing you can turn off to help the GPU cope.   Yes a cooling pad can add a little noise, I have a Coolermaster pad that does work very well and it's about 7 years old and the fans are going strong.   The cheap ones don't last I'll grant you that, but that cooldermaster has helped every one of my laptops I've used it with over the years.  

My ASUS laptop already has a nice comfy angle.

You see? High-res ME1 Kaidan loves clean laptops! 8) Enjoy! And don't listen to anyone. The only thing that game lacks of - is same grade sequels. And, probably, slightly less oldschool-console controls for PC version. And don't be afraid of mako - she's cool!

Hey Kaidan folks! 
I would like to ask for your honest opinions on a project that I'm working on. I'm combining my love of Mass Effect and the Sims. When I'm not playing MP, I'm working on making all of the characters from ME in the Sims 3 and I want to ask the fans of each character to critique what I have done so far. 

Right now, I have Kaidan, Ashley, and Liara's pictures uploaded to my little blog. If you're so interested, check them out! I would love to hear what you guys think.

I know he doesn't look ruggedly handsome like the real Kaidan, but for the Create-a-Sim system, it's as close as I could get it. I might fiddle with his eyes or give him some facial stubble. As for his clothes, I want to know what you guys think. Should I add more blue? Try a whole different outfit? I dunno. What do you picture Kaidan wearing off-duty?

Anyway, thanks for giving me your time. I'd really appreciate any feedback from you guys because you know Kaidan better than I do and I want to make each character the best they can be before uploading to the Sims forums.

Mmmmh, let's see, we're talking about 21st century fashion right?
Yes, totally, blue! Blue = biotics!
So... I would go for something 100% casual for Kaidan, something he can relax in. 
So I would go for a loose casual long sleeve shirt (but with the sleeves up, a bit like the military outfit sleeves) and/or a simple printed t-shirt with... well, blue jeans obviously!
Just simple sneakers, not the fashionable type, and there you go!
Can't think about anything else at the moment, sorry  > also, it's summer here, so it's a summer outfit really...
But hey, i've got ideas for snowy winter fashion too... Ooooooooh, Kaidan in a big comfy wool jacket with a scarf on

Oh awesome! Thank you for the quick response Mimitochan, that is exactly what I'm looking for! You gave me some good ideas with Kaidan's relaxed attire. I think the Sims 3 has something like you mentioned.
