I am still mid-replay of ME1, there are a couple of missions regarding biotics. One is the commune on Chohe where you have to kill the biotic lunatics and avoid the scientists. Always bothered me that Kaidan never said much about mad crazy biotic lunatics during or after that mission.

Really, guys, it was fun to watch like may be 10 pages ago. For first few posts. I would understand if you at least roleplayed, but you just flood.

Luv, peace, Kaidan etc.

Best way is to get other coversations going.   Like where are you in your latest playthrough?   What funny look or thing did Kaidan do last?

I left Kaidan at the memorial.
BUT, yes, I think him & Shep are currently having beer in front of some view.
Possibly with peanuts.
It's summer, and the air smells nice.

And that's why people like me are forced into doing reunion paintings, because we didn't get it in the game like we were supposed to lol.

And boy howdy, do I feel conflicted by that!! On one hand, I did so want a reunion scene in the EC but if there was one, I never would have had the pleasure of being introduced to your awe-inspiring artwork.

Or would I? If there was a reunion scene in the EC, would you have done the artwork as well?

Highly doubtful, but while I'm glad to paint them I still would have preferred to have it happen in game. Kinda like the "I love you scene" seeing it actually happen was so much more gratifying than just imagining they had said it.

I'm glad you did it, it looks so nice, i'm sure you're aware yourself that you did make it look as good, if not better than any stuff BW would have rendered. BUT i agree, i would have loved something much more obvious than just a breath. Something fresh, something lighthearted, sunny stuff, not that lame metaphysical mumbo jumbo. I would have loved to see the "real thing", not necessarily a reunion, but maybe some scene with the whole squad, just having a good time, chilling. Anyway, pre-EC endings are so easy to forget.

Definitely! Kaidan's not the clean shave type

Major Alenko - may be, but Lt. Alenko used to follow regulations more...welll..some part of regulations... 8P

Of course you're right. Posted Image

And there's this other thing that's bugging me for the longest time...

On the second Kaidan hospital visit, he says that the future flashed in front of his eyes on Mars. But on the date he says the past? What's up with you, Kaidan? Posted Image

What was that? Someone definitely needs to do some transcripts for this... What are the exact sentences?
Anyway that "in front of my eyes" thing, yeah, boring stuff. Faithful Shep totally expected something better than that on the Citadel date...

You know what couple would be perfect for each other, Kaidan and Costa... oh no wait, that would be weird, they could be twins..

Kaidan disapproves.

But so far I know that Kaidan keep smelling like smog and death, and It's me or Kaidan and Joker dont get on well? From what I've seen at the beginning of ME1 and in ME3 (Joker being mad because Kaidan had a gun pointing at Shep) it seems there's some tension in the air...despite Joker ask Kaidan some poker advice later...

Ahah, yeah, Joker's an ass. I love Joker because of his epic lines, but as a character, he's an ass.
Please keep us posted Posted Image

Here's a topic. Are you glad that Kaidan quietly forgave a penitent cheating Shepard in ME3, or do you feel that he should have become angry and demanded a stronger explanation? I know that some people feel that Shepard's 'moving on' in ME2 after Horizon was cheating and some feel that Kaidan and Shepard had broken up on Horizon. Where do you stand? Should Kaidan have been angrier?

There's absolutely no space in my headcanon for Shep having any kind of romance in ME2.
So it's difficult to imagine that.
Let's just say she had a moment of weakness, and did it (with Thane).
Since Kaidan says he just had few drinks with the mysterious doctor, and from what i've seen on the youtube vids, yeah, i thought Kaidan should have made a living hell out of Shepard. Instead of that, he just accepts it. He only gets angry if you attempt to lie. So yeah, i thought Kaidan was a bit too easy on this.
Especially when you think about his reaction on Horizon, i was surprised to see how OK and zenified he was with this. Bah... I just picture this as BW wanting to make players life easier.

I didn't cheat on him... of course I had to mod the game to have Kaidan in ME1 so the relationship was more deep for my Shepard.

You know, it's interesting, my husband has always said that cheating that is purely physical would be way easier for him to get over than emotional cheating. So maybe Kaidan is written to look at it that way. An angry, stupid act on Shepard's part that means nothing.

Ahah of course, that's what everybody says IN THEORY Posted Image (i'm not discussing you man's thoughts here of course). Truth is, cheating is cheating. Problem is, i don't like the word "cheating" from Kaidan, it's totally stupid since they weren't even supposed to me in a relationship Posted Image > after all, the guy looked at you in disgust on Horizon, literally turned his back on Shepard, said "good luck" and was off. After that, he sends some lame letter full of maybes, so i think he's got a nerve using the word "cheating" on his hospital bed. But that's not Kaidan's fault of course, that's BW's. But yeah, i thought too that they did write Kaidan in that way, men are said to be more forgetful than women about physical stuff, but that's just urban legend if you ask me. Some guys say so just to get away easier on cheating "yeah i did it, but i love YOU" Posted Image ahah

Mimi, you have a point about people using 'it's only physical' as a reason to cheat. When I think of Shepard having a romance right after Horizon happens, it feels like a hurt reaction of a person wanted to feel wanted. I recall reading some lines in ME3 where Kaidan admits to 'shutting Shepard down' on Horizon. I wonder if he would feel ashamed at how he acted and therefore feel that he's not allowed to complain about how she reacted.

I just spooked myself - I realized I started playing ME1 last September (and have played pretty much nothing but ME since then)... Steam says I've done 195 hours of ME1, 235 hours of ME2, and I've done three full PTs of ME3, plus a partial, so that's about ....

543 hours / 22 and a half DAYS of my life (16% of the year) of just playing ME single player... (I dare not think how much multiplayer)

Oh dear... [edit] and now I'm ToP again! crikies..
