It looks like my first post, on Page 116, is about nothing less than potentially having to kill Kaidan. Awesome! (It's eerie how my evil joke turned out to be somewhat close to the reality of all the nonsense we have to put up with in ME3.)

Actually, please don't shoot me, i don't feel Kaidan makes visually a good match with ShepLoo. Default femShep i don't really know because i haven't seen a lot of art / captures with the both of them, and anyway, default femShep is yet another problem cause she looks so much like a piece of plastic compared to ShepLoo.

Of course, you can't see mShep's face from that pic, but since we've been talking about hair, first thing i thought was that Kaidan (still very dark-haired in my mind) would make a good match with a S&P guy like this.

I'm exactly the other around, every opportunity of custom character, i take it, that's why i'm currently stuck in the middle of nowhere when it comes to ME3 ending...

Damn-damn-damn! At which point did it play??I fell asleep in progress for may be few minutes at about 2am local, but then I woke up and stayed up to the end. Either they appeared exactly while I was asleep or...or our bloody local TV cut it because of tons of theirs stupid adds. Like they did with 2\\3 of "imagine"...
My main question was what song can they pick to perform..I mean "brick in the wall" or "trial" would look...not so appropriate..but hell cool 8P I was going to bet on "high hopes"...

I liked DA2 but I know I'm in the minority. I think what I liked the most about it though was the characters. I felt more attached to them for some reason than I did to the DAO characters.

Characters?? In DA2? Where?? I can only name Varrick and my Hawke. And couple of NPCs may be (eg Arishok). Fenris is saved purely by his voiceactor. Anders does not have even that. Rest...are just ouch. And all the banter is not even half as good as DAO\\ME1. And you can talk to them like once per chapter. The only thing I loved about DA2 so far is idea of main hero switching with references to your first game. But it seemed good when it started, now with all the "3 years later" - I don't see and feel any ties, though I know from minor spoilers that i'm yet to see some old friends of Warden. And I love artist who made loading and some other minor art. But general plot building...imagine that all of ME3 (or ME2) done around constant escalation of geth\\quarian conflict. With couple of side missions. And almost each mission involves mandatory siding with either geth or quarians, and you have two hippy fan-boys in your crew - one per faction (one of which is the only avalible healer)...

Oh..THAT scene..."furstrated" is a mild word, I think. And after that - deep breath, change uniform and out for a meeting with Anderson on a Citadel...Raise your hands who did not take him out?

They must have had some hard time while waiting for Garrus at the airlock... I mean, somewhere in between "let's pretend nothing ever happened" and wish to find out what will follow... "one of these days...or nights", you know...

[Kaidan Fan]

I was actually playing DAII for the past two nights.  I have it on PC and Xbox but I don't have all the DLC on PC yet so I was Xboxing it up since I hadn't finished MotA on any of my pt's.  I loved DAII as well.  Not less than or more than DA:O, but in a different kinda way, does that make sense?

I don't know how to find my first post here, but it was quite a while ago.  I spent a long time lurking and not posting before that because my son had used all our games to register on his account which he doesn't even use anymore!
Then I was able to register but not post because I had no games 

Locker scene: I always ask Joker if he was listening in.  You know he was

I'd say Feros then Virmire but that's how I always do it.

Whew finally caught up 


For the best-looking Kaidan contest, I like ME3 the most because GRAPHICS (but yeah the lack of lashes are a bit disconcerting). However, I find his ME3 armor a little bit bulky? I miss that "form-fitting" armor from ME2. But I admit, he was a cutiepie in ME1 . So, I pick ALL .

For the multiple pockets thing, I used to have a lot of cargo pants and never put anything in those pockets . But for Kaidan...hmmm maybe biotic M&Ms , munchies, painkillers, grenades?

OMG AMAZING ART by AndreasShepard as always; induces the awwwwwwwwww feelings I have for Shenko. I love the mellow ambiance and that glorious detail~<3<3<3

DA2 has a special place in my heart because it is the first Bioware game I got to play and suckered me into the whole Bioware addiction. Even though it has its problems, I like it enough (I love Hawke no matter what the problems are in their characterization--has this charm I can't exactly pinpoint). But yeah, I like DA:O a whole lot better because of the epicness of its storyline and variety of characters. Hopefully, DA3 is better (relive the ME1 and DA:O glory times of storytelling), but I won't pre-order just yet because...of my trust issues with Bioware these days. <_<

On meeting RL Kaidan...I'd probably fail at interaction because I get shamelessly quiet around people I like. I'd probably help him find his Shepard though 

@Mimi I'm not mad...just real life stuff suddenly reared its ugly head and I had to abstain from the thread for a while (I'm almost never mad). As for the glamorization thing...although I have a relatively lengthy explanation for it, I'll just not talk about it because...I'm uncomfortable talking about it right now, given the many pages that have passed. 
Also, all that ME1 talk makes me excited for my new ME1 playthrough (cutie, awkward Kaidan )

Ah, everyone seems asleep...or MP-ing, but I need to write this down before I forget:

So, I'm going through this playthrough with an unromanced Kaidan with a Shepard who cheats on him with Garrus, right? While I miss Kaidan and it bugs me to do this to him, Garrus is a nice romance experience after all (thanks leborum~). Throughout the game, I felt loved...in a consistent way. What? Uh, let me explain...These are what I have observed so far in my playthrough:

Oh Garrus, How Do You Love Me? Let Me Count the Ways (or simply,  Garrus Romance Pros vs. Kaidan's)
Disclaimer: I'm not bashing Kaidan in any way. Just comparing romances.
1. Almost all cutscenes that involve Garrus in the Normandy have him caring for a romanced Shepard.
Exhibit
a. First time talking to Garrus after getting him from Menae, Garrus asks for a reaffirmation of the romance.
b. Directly after curing or not curing the genophage, Garrus prods a romanced Shepard to sleep (different lines from unromanced)
c. After Shepard wakes up when they discuss the consequences of Shepard's choice in curing the genophage, Garrus is concerned for a romanced Shepard's well-being.
d. After Rannoch, romanced Shepard shows concern for Garrus when he informs Shepard that he hasn't heard from his family.
e. After Thessia, Garrus lifts romanced Shepard's spirits (different lines from unromanced).
>>Romanced Kaidan's difference from an unromanced one is his flirting with Shepard in the post Ex-Cerberus Scientists cutscene and his "next time, wake me" banter (after clicking him twice) after the Admiral Koris mission.
>>Only cutscene with Garrus that doesn't involve romance is him with Shepard at the memorial wall, talking about the consequences of the Citadel Coup and Kaidan (ironically so).
2. Tali (at least subtley) acknowledges the romance a lot of times.
Exhibit
a. Before boarding the geth dreadnought cutscene, Tali warns Shepard to be careful of Dr. Michel for Garrus' affections.
b. Tali's first ambient banter in the Normandy changes slightly if Garrus is romanced (about favorite missions)
c. Tali's second ambient banter in the Normandy changes slightly if Garrus is romanced (about serving in a human ship)
>>Only Joker acknowledges Kaidan's romance in a cutscene with him at Purgatory ("I'm not Kaidan...") does this still happen with a Shepard that didn't romance Kaidan in ME1? I'm too lazy to check.
3. Garrus shows his concern for a romanced Shepard in a cutscene with the refugees at the Citadel.

And that's the disparity, not only of the number of Garrus' cutscenes than Kaidan's, but also how spread out throughout the game Garrus' romance is. I just wish that all LIs (but primarily Kaidan lol) got the same treatment. There's just this big lull in Kaidan's romance after the date (missed opportunity after Thessia, if you ask me). I love Kaidan's and Garrus' characters though, but I love Kaidan a whole lot more hehe. I'm also not questioning Bioware's cutscene priorities (or maybe I am, go figure), just stating an observation. 

PS: I'm not going to do a Liara romance comparison ever, no siree
