My FemShep would go for Traynor.

I love Traynor, don't get me wrong <3. I love her romance too (that white picket fence and dog she wants :crying:)...but that shower scene and its implications though (it bugs me)...

I like fraternization tension as well

GDI, this is turning into a Thane thread post (which I haven't done yet).  Probably the best break-up scene in the game, as far as feels go.  So thank you, Thane (and Chris Hepler), for making me so sad for loving Kaidan more at this moment. *goes to cry in a corner*

Major OUCH. I was actually about to ask for a Thane confirmation of Kaidan romance. Does he acknowledge the Kaidan romance with a faithful Shep (does his lines about Kaidan change for a romanced faithful and unromanced Shep?). 

For a faithful Kaidan (which is my usual playthrough), this is the dialogue:

Thane:  [skipping a bit, brother] "What are you doing here?"
Shep:  "Visiting a friend, Kaidan.  He got hurt protecting me."
Thane: "The human biotic in intensive care. *KepralSyndromeCoughs* I saw the marks of an implant."
Shep: "Yeah."
Thane: "We have spoken.  He seems an honorable sort.  Your enemies may try to finish him off here.  I will look out for him."
Shep: "I appreciate it, Thane."
Thane: "...I am near the end of my life.  It is a good time to be generous."  (And then the dialogue continues as per the wheel.)

From my inferences as to other bits of dialogue, Thane says this because he loves her (taken from ME2 break-up dialogue where Thane says, "I hope you won't mind when I say I will carry you in my heart.") and is being generous as to look out for the things and people she cares for, despite himself.  He can tell she cares for Kaidan and wishes to protect her emotional well-being, since he's not in a condition to go with her and protect her physical well-being as he did throughout ME2.

For those who care - even if my origin status says DA2 - I'm ready for some silver, if someone needs my quarian freezer. I could go for gold - but that's quite unpredictable...

And to add some more ontopic - I doubt I'd be able to make different Shepard and romance anyone else. Sheploo\\Tali was once on my mind...but I'm sure that once I get to ME1 profile reconstruction...I'll reuse my canon femshep. Very likely -including her class.

Yeah, I really liked Thane. He was a good friend to my mShep's in ME2.

So i tried to do a custom mShep from ME1.
I intented him as the ultimate paragon colonist guy,
a good-doer all around, and thought Ash would fit.
I wasn't too happy about his looks,
and then Virmire came, and Ash died once again.

From ME2, i did try another custom brand new mShep, i thought he was rather good looking - note to self: post a pic of custom ME2 mShep just to see what fellow Kaidanites will say - and i somewhat intented to get my hands on perfect Miranda. But then the postman brought me ME3, and then Kelly Chambers died and i was not sorry.

The only reason i would romance Liara would be to cheat on her with some other character.

Tali is cute, but just a little sister.

Jack would be too much of a challenge during sexy times.

Traynor... that shower thing is just plain ridiculous.

I quite like Steve, i could go for him.

Who am i forgetting? ...

I just played that part with my Thane romance femshep.
Did you try asking Thane to come with you for some privacy after that? His answer is pretty heartbreaking too. Poor Thane.
I can't break a dying man's heart, Kaidan will have to wait in that playthrough.

Kaidan is my favorite LI, but I wish BW had given more attention to the Thane romance than they did.

I didn't, but I watched it.  I was personally appalled at the option, because I just finished breaking the man's heart for Kaidan's sake, then I'm gonna go have last-minute sessy times with him immediately??  I was really put off by it, but watched it so I'd know what happens.  Made me love Thane even more.  How about my Shep has Kaidan, and I go cure Thane's illness and have him?  Everybody's happy.

Right... you mean the guy who's going to name his first baby after my Shep

I liked Jacob's character, although compared to Miranda, he seemed kind of hollow unfortunately.
I totally expected to finally discover their past love affair but no... 
Also, i don't know why they felt they should make him go all MC Taylor with the way he pronounced every single sentence the same way as the latter in ME2 vs. ME3.
For some reason, Jacob is the ONLY character with which i've never ever hinted the beginning of a romance option with my Shep... maybe i missed some important line??? Or maybe you're supposed to be renegade on him? I don't know how you romance Jacob actually...

It's tough, you have to pursue him, but if you come on too strong I think that's a deal breaker too.  Basically you have to tell him you're interested *before* Horizon, which is hard to do, because you haven't seen Kaidan yet.  I can always interpret Horizon as Kaidan breaking up with Shep, but going after Jacob before you've seen Kaidan feels wrong to me.  I was working on it in my incomplete insanity run.  Haven't gotten the priiize yet.
