So hum, if i manage to change this, do you have any colour preference?
There is an armor in the game with the same skin only blue instead of pink. Forget what it's called but it looks very nice on Kaidan.
OK, maybe it's pink.
Haha, only thing more amusing than Garrus in Phoenix armor...is Wrex in Phoenix armor. I never actually took him out like that, but couldn't resist trying it on him just to see.
And back on topic, I have a confession to make...
I left Kaidan on Virmire in my last playthrough. I wanted to be able to romance Garrus once, and was trying to avoid any temptation. I almost couldn't do it, though. I ended up saving him first and doing the post-Virmire chat with him, then I reloaded and got Ash. Kept the save point through the rest of the game though, in case I changed my mind again.

Yeah i saw that scene alright... on Youtube
Actually, i may have tried that myself, but... hearing Kaidan on the radio instead of Ash felt weird (cause i usually save the bomb squadmember) and i probably reloaded at some early point because i knew then that even if i saved Ash instead, i would never carry on with that PT.
So, MandaPanda, what i'm trying to say is... it's OK, I understand... (NO, I DON'T!!!!!!

That said, despite thefactor, the cutscene of him staying with the bomb was very moving and well done. I really liked it in an "oh, the feels" sort of way. And now it's been done, and I have my one Ash game and it will never happen again.
This hurts me

That said, I applaud your bravery~

The answer is because, what, like, 80%?, of saves have Ash surviving; therefore, they used her default armor. Never mind that Onyx is more gender neutral. The 20% of people who saved Kaidan can DEAL WITH IT.txmn1016 wrote...

This may or may not be true. I'm just speculating. And I'm mildly crabby because I got nothing good in my victory or com packs today. Also I might have been drinking with Aoibheann (who never comes by here anymore) tonight, and I might have killed a bottle of prosecco. I'll stop talking now.

Sad to say but Kaidan has always been seen as the bastard at the family reunion. Kaidan-haters have called him whiny, boring and other names that would get me banned if I wrote them here. Apparently Garrus has the 'bro' market for male gamers and the 'awwww, romance' market for female gamers, and Ashley/Liara/Tali takes care of the 'pixilated female fantasy' demographic. And don't get me started on Mass Effect merchandising. Action figures, t-shirts, and posters abound and not one item is Kaidan-centric.
For once, I would like to see just one Kaidan item offered -- that way when it sells out in record time the powers that be can all go 'duhhhh, we need to make more Kaidan stuff.'
Idiots.

Jacqui does a really good job of getting him booked at the cons. She even asked the Kaidanites which ones we'd be most likely to go to. I think he's doing a lot to promote Once Upon a Time as well. They've had several panels.Kunari801 wrote...

He might, but I doubt it's his initiative. BW (or EA) should invite - no? And since they do... they do it for purpose, I guess...Well, maybe Mr Sbarge likes to go to the Cons?
Yay. Makes perfect sense....not. I mean, why would they totally ignore "the most desired s\\s relationship" target audience? It's either one or antother, it's either "iconic" character with all his relationships or something that is perfectly safe to ignore and something that has no $$$ potentials. Can't be both at same time.mShep+Kaidan was the most desired s/s relationship requested in Mass Effect.
And I'd be perfectly fine with ANY reason that makes them do Kaidan goods...though, I'd rather see him alone, without Sheploo at his side...but I won't love to see him with DefaultFemShep on a T-shirt or poster as well - so it has nothing to do with Shepard's gender.
ps: You've got a broken quote somewhere in yor post, don't know if you fixed it while I was typiing or not.

Ahah, Garrus looks mad in here.
About Phoenix armour, my guess is that they wanted an armour that looked sensibly different than that of Shepard from the opening scene + indeed Ash's iconic armour was already there so, it was less budget consuming to just apply the same to both. BUT, on the other hand, Kaidan has an armour of his own on Horizon, so that makes them even to me (they could have made him wear that in there too!
Quick note, if anybody's interested > From my experiments, it seems the texture for the Phoenix armour is of the same nature as the eye texture > colourless, and then the colour is added dynamically real-time.

I work from home. ....sort of. I'm a medical transcriptionist, but I also get mad moniez for taking classes (yay GI bill!) and have concierge friends that get me cheap stuff and a friend that offered to let me room with her fo' free (she's also the one that donated $1000 to Operation Smile at NerdHQ this year for Zachary Levi to kiss her, which set off the Nathan Fillion and Adam Baldwin kisses immediately following -- and we sort of work for the same company! She's just way better at it than I am). AAAAAAND D*C coincides with the few days my ex wanted to take my son for his last "week" (even though it's like, three extra days) of summer-allocated vacation, so it just all kinda worked out! I really should sign up for frequent flyer miles. I'd have racked up some serious points by now, for sure. *sigh*
I'd love to work for BW Edmonton OR Montreal, or Sacramento even though they're doing the Social Gaming scene rather than ME or DA (which is still cool, just not my obsessions). I'll work on that Kaidan hoodie. And other associated Kaidan merch I really NEEDS to have.
Edit: Somehow I had a feeling this was going to be ToP. HERE! Have a Kaidan.
