Do keep an eye out for me though!  My name is actually Karissa, so just yell it out and tell me you're from here.  I'm not the best with remembering names... (fail fail FAIL).  Just tell him what you think of his work and he's always willing to answer questions.  Literally the nicest man on the planet.  Also very accommodating.  He DID record my voicemail during the BioWare Base signing, after all, after signing two things for me and taking three pictures with me (one of which was also with Kimberly and Courtenay, but still).  Super, super accommodating and extremely sweet man.  All your nervousness will melt away.  Trust me!

It's really nice to see passionate fans such as yourself! The last time I went to such an event was 150 years ago, but reading you strenghtens my idea that if ever such an event featuring Raphael Sbarge were to take place in this forsaken part of the Universe called France, i would definitely go! Probably wearing a custom ME t-shirt for the occasion! Also, @catgirl, I look forward to read here from your D*C adventures and also, pics, from both of you!

About merchandising, I don't mind if we never get any Kaidan figurine (no bishoujo please!!!), but something to show scream our love, yes, that would be nice. Mmmmmh, i may work on that custom T-shirt after all, i'm already picturing myself explaining to husband who the heck is that handsome guy spread over my chest.

Yeah. Husbands can be a problem when it comes to minor fangirl weakness...

But he does not read this thread, does he? 8P I can share my long-ready plan then...Just tell him you occasionally won it on some BW fancontest. So it would be pity just to throw it away, as size fits....And handsome guy? What guy? Oh..theeees guy..well you simply had no choice (poor thing! ;P ), and ME is a nice game...so - why not?...

Or you can have something totally private and neutral..like SR1 replica..I'd love to get one somehow, by the way, but there's another problem for me - to save it from kids.

For why Kaidan is in Phoenix armor in ME2: Ash=canon Virmire survivor for Bioware apparently <_< (also reason for no-biotics-in-cutscenes-even-if he's-a-capable-L2 Kaidan).

As for merchandise, I would want a Play Arts version of him to go along with the figures of the mostly complete ME1 gang (Sheploo, F!Shep, Garrus, Ash, Tali would have figures...lol at not having Liara for once). I would also want to have a Sideshow figure of him.  Have you guys seen the one of Sheploo:O? So much glorious detail OMG. For non-figures, hoodie, shirt, lithograph (preferably by Patryk Olejniczak), Homeworlds type comics, plushie (!!!), cute usb, ... EVERYTHING, ANYTHING! BIOWARE IM FREELY OFFERING MONEY FOR KAIDAN STUFF WHY WONT YOU GUYS TAKEA HINT?!!!

As for conventions, I can't go to gaming related conventions because I'm on the other side of the Earth (woe is me); my place doesn't have that much of gaming conventions. If only I could biotically float over there and meet cutie Sbarge

I left Kaidan on Virmire in my last playthrough.  I wanted to be able to romance Garrus once, and was trying to avoid any temptation.  I almost couldn't do it, though.  I ended up saving him first and doing the post-Virmire chat with him, then I reloaded and got Ash.  Kept the save point through the rest of the game though, in case I changed my mind again.

That said, despite the factor, the cutscene of him staying with the bomb was very moving and well done.  I really liked it in an "oh, the feels" sort of way.  And now it's been done, and I have my one Ash game and it will never happen again.

This hurts me

Sad to say but Kaidan has always been seen as the bastard at the family reunion. Kaidan-haters have called him whiny, boring and other names that would get me banned if I wrote them here. Apparently Garrus has the 'bro' market for male gamers and the 'awwww, romance' market for female gamers, and Ashley/Liara/Tali takes care of the 'pixilated female fantasy' demographic. And personally, I know a few people may disagree but in ME1 I just can't seem to like Ash, she really rubs me the wrong way with her comments on aliens and stuff and in the debriefing after a mission saying to Liara "Who made you in charge" or something to that effect. Yeah anyway she really bugged me ><

Anyway back on Kaidan we should all sooo push Bioware for Kaidan stuff a T-Shirt atleast  unless it's been done already and I just don't know about it, I can be pretty oblivious haha

Arw just the thought of leaving him and thinking of Horizon and the parting ways part on the EC in ME3
I would so fail at an ashmance I would too be compelled by the Kaidan gods and go back to Virmire and save him I wouldn't be able to go through with it haha ><

On the subject of apparel, what image would you all like to see of Kaidan on a shirt? Because setting up a Cafe Press store costs nothing, and I'm sure we could make something that looked awesome enough to encourage BW to make official versions. I'm thinking dark shirt with glowing biotic on it perhaps something like one of nhaneh's awesome biotic renders would look awesome.

Are there are any other notable conventions after Dragoncon? I really want to go to a con. but I can't justify the spends to my husband this time around

Why can't they come to FL? Oh wait...because it's awful....

And I really hope that BW makes some kind of Kaidan related item because I want to grin like an idiot when it sells the frak out really quickly. They really must have no idea what kind of market they're missing out on.

Most days when I look at Costa there are too many subtlle differences for me to equate him with Kaidan---but this pic is nice.  This just looks like Kaidan.  Well, gay Kaidan anyway.  No straight dude would wear that shirt/tie/necklace combo.

I'd personally like to see an image from Mass Effect 3 because I think graphics has made him even more gorgeous than he was before  

But yeah I agree and then hopefully Bioware would see that they really should have a Kaidan T-Shirt by now  
I bet loads of people would buy it!
