Most days when I look at Costa there are too many subtlle differences for me to equate him with Kaidan---but this pic is nice.  This just looks like Kaidan.  Well, gay Kaidan anyway.  No straight dude would wear that shirt/tie/necklace combo. 

This may seem a silly question that I should already know, but is that who they based Kaidan on like Male Shepard and they guy they based him on?

Or is it just someone who looks like him

It's been confirmed by him that he's the face model for Kaidan but never been confirmed by BW (as far as I know).

Arw I see, well it looks like it could be possible. Although I have to agree with what someone said above, there are subtle differences that make me not see Kaidan. Unline the guy they used for Male Shepard he looks a lot like him!

What can I say? I love casual guys. A sexy casual guy is a hundred times sexier to me than a hot guy wearing fancy stuff, be he straight or gay. Biotic sexyness and a deep georgeous voice is a plus.

 I don't think you can say it's been confirmed by him. He can say whatever he wants. I'd say it's a pretty fair assumption though 

My best guess is that Kaidan's a conglomeration of Costa and the artist's imagination. To many similarities and too many differences. Heck, he looks exactly like the concept art

I agree, I can see the simularities a lot especially in the casual pictures

But they have made Kaidan's face a lot wider and paler.

I don't think so. I mean, he was made to be that way. That's the point 



Kinda off topic question. How late in ME2 can you start a relationship? I want to use this new file as a branching off point for other LIs. I don't want to have to start a new file for everyone<_<

I've never really been that crazy about Costa,  preferring Kaidan's in game appearance but I have to say this pic is HOTTTTT!
