Actually, playing in bed is fun. I used to play in bed on my laptop (with a small table). But that meant no mic and headphones, because sleeping husband and kid, which is not so good for a MMO healer. So - I had to find another place, where I could speak and shout (if needed). MMOs are gone, but I got used to my corner of the table. And back and wrists hurt much less after play, to be honest. I only play in bed if I'm sick now. Which is quite rare.

Sadly I don't have much of a cake - I have a half-eaten Angel Cake (or as Brits would call it, a simple sponge cake) from the store, pesky milk protein allergy means safest bet for me is to make my own but it's too hot for baking

ty all for the birthday wishes - shame Leviathan isn't out today but I shall make do with some lego and some new gadgets til it releases. I may even get a hair cut this afternoon!

Ahaha  what can I say, i like KFC now and then (especially them Twister things), but just not... with Kaidan's head stuck on them chicken drumsticks. But if it makes you happy/hungry/celebrating, then good for you.

Thanks .  And I shall - I don't intend to make readers wait an entire week to find out what the heck is going on; I hope to publish the next chapter as early as Sunday .  It's already written, just needs some final edits.

I think it's a great thing to headcannon, it helps to complete their story.  The event in the chapter is a brief encounter, nothing overdramatic, just funny and foreshadowing.

I always like to leave a Kaidan when I can:

@Graceyn I admit to not reading your chapter updates in a while. But no worries, no criticisms from my side and I'm still a fan~ But detailed endings (Earth stuff) makes me hurt too much, and seeing your fic, something I followed since the beginning, reach that precipice...I dunno, I guess I'll abstain from it until it finishes to moderate my FEELS (wishing for a happy Kaidan ending as well...do I dare hope?)  Keep up the good work; I look forward to the nearing end~

As much as I like looking at this, it still hurts me

I'd imagine if that would actually happen...heads will roll  But haha wave of nostalgia, and being a lurker for the longest time--seeing fans come and go...yup, they'll be missed 

But this caught my eye a lot more. Kaidan already bracing himself for impact LOL

It is. Funny thing, that I did not even think about it till recently. Probably because all the focus was on timeline and post-timeline things. Shenko first meeting was one of last things I hedcanoned (if not the very last one). It was like a final missing piece of puzzle, really. Which made me feel a little bit sad, to be honest. I knew how it ended, and I found out how it started. "Ended" is not probably the right word, but I was not going to follow them till the very-very end. That's just the point where I....stopped following them. I know they're safe, together (and married, lol). Rest is just up to them.
