*Steals the Shadow card from Doodle*
*Gains a Shadow*
*Doodle loses the opportunity to make a Phantom*
Win-win.

First thing that comes to my mind is not "all characters should be treated equally", it's actually "there should have been a lot less characters in the first place". Those ME2 characters were quite simply betrayed. Ash & Kaidan almost didn't make it.
Yeah, resources are stretched pretty thin, it is better to create fewer and fuller characters...I am new to the forums but I imagined once upon a time there was a storm here about Kaidan not being in ME2
I'm quite the newbie too. I can't imagine what was Kaidanites' reaction at that time.
Honestly, i don't think i would have bought the game.
That would have meant 5 years from the end of ME1 without actually having Kaidan in-game??? And with MY money? Seriously, i don't think so.
*focuses hard on happy & hot Kaidan stuff to stay in a good mood and realizes she hasn't posted a sex god pic for quite some time*

@Vigilant111 Wow, I actually don't remember. If I recall, Shepard asks him about his implant during their second hospital visit. ME1 Chakwas and Kaidan only mentions migraines once (about a sentence each), which makes me wonder why the hell people assume he's a "whiner" because he "complains about migraines." I mean seriously, migraines hurt as f**k and he only EXPLAINS the consequences of having an L2 implant, ONLY WHEN SHEPARD ASKS. I mean really if not empathy, where are people's reading comprehension at these days?
lol at rant but yeah.. :'D
Sometimes when you bring him to the Citadel he does exactly that gesture in the picture, I noticed it also happens in some combat missions and I was thinking "hmmmmmm:?:("
Funny I never heard him complaining about migranes, maybe I missed some dialogues ...can someone refresh my memory about what else he complained about?
The Cerberus stuff is just a way to converse with Shepard, wasn't so much whining, I mean Kaidan is not a kid, he just like to have a clear mind, and likes to draw the line on things

BTW, does Shepard ever ask Kaidan "How's the headache?", sometimes when I bring him to missions I see that he is unwell but Shepard does not say anything
Nope, never. I would have loved something like this. This is so much part of Kaidan's character. (And of Jacob's animations
And my Shep has tons of ideas to make the pain go away.
About the whining, never understood that.
My only guess is that some straight guys are just annoyed by this type of characters. If the character is 100 times more popular than their RL self, it annoys them and they call him whiner or gay.
Also some women like the macho stereotype, which Kaidan is not.

Yup, agree with the Cerberus thing too. Kaidan is a thinker and an honorable type of person! He ruminates on things, especially on things that are questionable. But yeah, most people don't see that because MY SHEPARD IS GOD I AM THE MAIN CHARACTER EVERYONE BOW TO ME!!!!! Whatevs...

Also for whiners, maybe their idea of their own "masculinity" is challenged (as if they have one

@Vigilant111 He doesn't complain about it either in ME1, just clarifying Shepard's question about L2s. Although, his headache action during idle walking breaks my heart...that's why I'm asking Mimi for head-ache-going- away tips which is apparently rated R

@everyone: I was referring to Kaidan having migraines during ME1 missions, not ME3, cos the symptoms are not apparent, possibly because something got better after the lengthy stay in hospital, just need to clarify
Well in ME1, he never mentions that during missions.
Only on the Citadel, he says he doesn't like crowded and noisy places when you ask him about places.
He never complained either.
From ME3 > my guess is just that they decided to remove the animation for some reason. I don't think it's anything written.

Anti-Steve sentiment, either that or coffee
@Mimitochan:
Oops I did not see your forum-joining date, you are younger than me
Anyway, why is killing Udina a renegade interrupt? I would think that by Shepard killing Udina, Kaidan is spared from the dilemma, therefore it should be a paragon interrupt

Let's just say R stands for Really really good painkilling moves that will make Kaidan focus on every other inch of his body rather than his skull

I'm not entirely sure why do I even bother. Arguing on the Internet is silly.
Probably hoping I'd make even one homophobe consider otherwise.
Edit: ToP hang on
