Awesome, although I really dislike the collaring (it reminds me too much of the feathered robes—I had to play all of Origins in the starter Mage Robe because those Tevinter frocks were so damn hideous).

I like that his boots seem more high-tech, although his legs look out of proportion (or just really far apart)?

Can't wait to see the whole squad.

Do you ever use the "mirror trick"? I used to do that, watch by drawings from a mirror, seeing them flipped the other way around it makes you see the obvious "mistakes" instantly!
Well nowadays, you can use Photoshop/Illustrator for the same purpose of course

Did you "match" rest of the crew already? Will you tell us or make a surprise once you have art to show? If you did not make up your mind yet...Make Liara Morrigan! They have a lot in common... 8E Tali could go as Leliana, imo. Not sure about Ash, though... Thane might look good as Fenris.

I kinda have to make Miranda Morrigan since she's sort of the lead female in ME2 and is pretty ****y throughout. I was thinking of having Liara as being a chantry member sort of assuming Leliana's role (plus Leliana is also bisexual like Liara lol)

As for the post-ME2 Kaidan reaction. Yeah it was pretty bad. I went in spoiler free about that at least and waited the whole game for him to come back. When he didn't... A lot of people went in spoiled as well but for months afterwords Horizon was a pretty common and devisive subject. Many eventually made their peace with it while others never got over it and moved on. A lot of people started to get tired of talking about it, but just like with the endings fiasco new people would get to that part then come to the boards to hash it out with other forumites. This was a time when there was an explosion of "About Horizon" fics being produced, whether to bash Kaidan for yelling, have Shepard apologize for not explaining these right, or just have the two of them get over their differences and meet together in a passionate embrace.

As a whole the Kaidan fandom got a lot more active. Whether because of the influx of PS3 players or because we realized that with enough yelling the Garrus and Tali fandom got what they wanted so we could do the same for ME3.

Great job with the survey guys. I think it's great when a fandom comes together and does something productive like this.

And before I head off to look for sweet Kaidan dreams, here's something to inspire them in you.

Sigh...it was an incredibly bad decision on my part to read the comments section, now my expectations on other fans romancing other LIs are lowered even more (just rude and uncalled for, some of them).

My only regret is having the decency to censor myself in the comments section for the other characters like: woo don't care for Thane--the lizard guy burned to death in the vents for hitting on my Shep OMG can't you get even more creepy, having buggy eyes and a wife and all just ew; or woo don't care for Garrus--that birdman got stung by a thousand Collector bees for not man-ing up, for following Shep around like a love-sick p*ssy without a brain of his own, he deserved to friggin' die on his own for hitting on my Shep too! ; or woo don't care for Ash--Virmire'd her 7 times Yeah, I'm exaggerating, in case that wasn't clear. My point is, I don't go traipsing around other character's sections and telling everyone who supports them how lovely their charred or bitten corpses are (even if they were indeed charred, bitten and left alone without my Shep batting an eyelash in that one playthrough). But hey, at least Shep remembers Ash...sucks to be Thane and a dead Garrus (even when previously romanced Shep never mentions them lol, but no worries, that Shep has moved on to Kaidan--figures why she forgets)

Gah what a lovely thing to wake up to...BUT WOW AndreasShepard. Nicely done art~ Fusing my fave Bioware games into one! And mage Kaidan (squee)! In love with the drawing...my foul mood is getting better

Anyway about DA2, I never hated the game as much as the majority did. I had gripes, especially it in comparison to DA:O+Awakening, but I liked DA2 enough to enjoy it and replay it a couple of times. I was also incredibly disappointed that the DA2 expansion was scrapped (I had hoped it would "redeem" DA2 from all the flack it got. I like Hawke and Anders (canon romance for me) despite their characterizations flaws (snarky Hawke is the cutest)~

Hey, thanks so much for the highlight. You know, it's really interesting, sometimes i run into old ME1/ME2 Kaidan threads or even old pages from this very thread and i always wonder "where did all the people go?"

So you went into ME2 without knowing he wouldn't be available as a squadmate?? ... Without knowing about Horizon??
Fortunately, i had spoiled myself, so i was prepared for the Kaidan drought. Plus, pre-EC ME3 was already out. If not... Just don't want to think about that.

Fans are just amazing. I can totally picture Kaidan fans getting united during the long wait, and really, all the credits to them. I think i can see what the excitement would have been about, the anticipating, the speculation, and so on. Maybe it was more about Kaidanite fellowship at that time than actually about Kaidan.

Now if you ask me, it's absolutely wrong that fans should be granted what they yell for.
Fans may give ideas, new perspectives on certain aspects of a work of fiction / game, but actually driving some features that wouldn't have been there otherwise? No.
It just happened imo (Tali and Garrus but also a lot of other ME2 features and storyline) because they had just this vague idea about what post ME1 was. And that's just rather mediocre ground to build upon.

I'm really curious, when exactly was this "loyal Kaidan romancers being rewarded" thing first out??

That's not true. That's a pretty poor analysis of the survey results, and it's a little sad to see so much work to create so much disappointment and bitterness.
I understand that you're angry about Garrus being seen as more popular, but in reality, that has NOTHING to do with who is more "worthy" to have more content.
In fact, in the actual comments and thread suggestions, it's pretty clear that a lot of people think that Garrus's romance needed the least amount of improvement.
A lot of people were satisfied with Garrus's romance, so why would they feel that he deserves more content? 

Personally, I think that the romances who recieved the poorest treatment in ME3 should be the first to recieve attention (Thane, Jacob, Jack), not romances that are already have a lot of interaction and content like Liara's or Garrus's.

This could never be a proper reliable survey, it was obvious from the start.
For a marketing survey to be accurate, you need to have representative samples of each population. That's basic statistics rule. But hey, this is fanmade, all the credits to them.

This survey doesn't say much about what ME players want, it says what  most 19-29 female players want > i.e. more Garrus. BW will take it as such.

About the free comments, i didn't even bother reading those. I can't see what i could see from there that i don't see from here on the BSN. As usual, not surprised by the comments. If you let people say anything anonymously, they will, including the most stupid and hating stuff.

U misread my comment, it wasn't a dig on the survey, remember last time there was a big a** survey (the German one) and BW said it was too skewed to PC gamers (therefore not comprehensive enough to be taken seriously)

Hmm? I'm not bitter nor angry.
I was just saying that if BW takes that survey seriously, the one who is the most likely to get most content is Garrus since he is the only one whose "Did not romance" section is smaller than the "Yes" or "No."
Besides, when I talk with Mimi and Doodle here, my posts are not 100 % serious.

Hi, as I said, the female 19-29 population is probably over-represented from that survey.
For that survey to be truly meaningful on the overall ME fanbase, we would have needed to know the structure for the ME fanbase which is very very very probably NOT what demographics are shown here.
After that, we would need to gather samples from each population and ask the same questions.
