I'm not thrilled so much with the main Rannoch plot, and I think these elements were certainly less effective than what John came up with for Tuchanka, but I wasn't really bothered by Tali's dive. I actually wasn't paying much attention the first time through, and I ended up getting her killed by accident (I've accidentally killed Tali twice from not paying attention—once in ME2 where she got her face blown off, and now in ME3 when she decides to go swimming).

But the joke is that zombie Tali will come to sleep with Shepard for the sex scene. There's some bug where she just shows up even when she's dead.

Which is why that discussion made me think of it. :-)

Yes I did kill him accidentally because I was new to the game:?, of which I made it up to Kaidan by redoing all those missions.  

I remember that, you were quite distraught at the time.  I'm glad you made it up to Kaidan and are none the worse for wear now .  :happy:

Why would Shepard carry Kaidan's dead body if Shepard didn't visit him at the hospital and let someone shoot him?
I think Ash says something like "i hope the reapers will drive you to Hell" on dying, or something like that.

I think the pass/fail comes from the Spectre conversations

Also there are other factors like the whiskey, reputation and whether you saved the Salarian councilor

They have a point system. Being supportive, buying them gifts, whether you romanced them in ME (and whether you stayed faithful), whether you saved the Collector base (I *think* there's a point for that, but maybe it just influences one of their conversations or something), and your actions during the coup mission (and maybe a couple other things in the early ME3 plots—I don't recall any others, though). All of it combines to affect how the standoff plays out (for Kaidan lovers, you don't really need to do anything but show up and hit your interrupt).

I still haven't seen when Kaidan gets killed by a Shepard he hates. Ashley's is pretty awesome ("I hope the Reapers get you!"). I only know when Kaidan at least trusts Shepard, he'll say he wanted to say something and then just dies before saying it.

Vigilant said he "forgot" to visit Kaidan, and he's probably right, reputation score must come into play.
Plus unmodded mShep probably kills Kaidan "more easily".
Talk about a nice femShep privilege

I'm sorry, I was just responding to your comment. I love your setiment about Shepard carrying Kaidan's body... but I'd rather Kaidan lives.  I know it upset you when it occured, and I must say I would have been too.  I just couldn't resist any chance to talk to Kaidan so I visited him every time. 

I didn't buy the whiskey the first PT since I didn't use that terminal much.

Yeah, the Final Hours app for iOS has the break down.  Whiskey, Faithful, Saved the Salarian counciler (which has it's own set of points), "nice" to him, etc to add up to a point system on if Kaidan lives.  Of course the app uses mShep+Ashley instead but same point system applies.
