I meant symmetry from the artist. Ash is just the other Virmire Survivor and what Kaidan is to femShep from ME1.
This was not made by a Kaidanite, if it had been, of course he/she would have put Kaidan in Ash's place
I know Mimi, I was teasing you. *hugs*
Major Kaidan Alenko in ME3: We're going to need a bigger boot.

It's not necessary, but it helps (but I think it's impossible without an import).Vigilant111 wrote...
Appearantly saving the Salarian councilor helps because Udina will not be able to show the fake video of Shepard murdering the councilor
Female Shepard only gets an advantage for an ME romance (but loses points if she then moved on to a different partner in ME2). I think there may also be a past history point, but it's available to all Shepards (you just have to import somebody who talked to Kaidan in ME or at least kept him alive or something).
Even if you have no points, I think it's still possible to get them to stand down by making a reputation check (but there's no reason to not have max points with him, now is there?).

That is correct, import is essential, without import you need to engage in lengthier conversations (which makes me nervous throughout thinking that some s**t might happen)
I believe the minimum reputation requirement is two bars and spectre conversations are a must, if you do not talk to him after those emails he sent you, your friendship with him is at an end:crying:
Does anyone notice that the emoticons at the bottom of submit screen keep shifting??? I need to search for the right one for a long time:pinched:

And I believe that u took the paragon interrupt to lower your squadmate's weapons?

That is actually horrible.
Doing the maths to not let Kaidan die...
Please tell me you don't need to romance him or get flirty with him to save his life...
As faithful femShep, letting Kaidan die seemed to be quite the accomplishment, i'm not aware as to how "easy" it is to have him killed otherwise.
I very recently discovered that fake vid from Udina from Ash's death on YT (I am absolutely unable to view any kind of material implying Kaidan's death), and it's plain nasty.
I mean they really did think this through.

Importing in this game is essential, period. It's just not that engaging when you don't import.Vigilant111 wrote...

You don't even get Padok, who could have been the one bright spot in the dreary, featureless game that is non-import ME3.

No, you don't need to get dirty, but it helps, u know, its mutually beneficial
Romance is only available if you invite Kaidan to Normandy, giving the whiskey to him does not lock you in a romance, I mean, its whiskey, not a pair of undies:D

I also know the woes of a non-imported game. It was fine before I had played ME1 or ME2 (I played ME3 first... *cough*), but after... LE SUCK.
Same here, Rannoch and Tuchanka are so much better with import... that being said, you are still required to make the right decisions in ME1 and ME2 though

I like to think that Kaidan is a lovely character even if you don't want to romance him (yeah, i know, weird people out there, huh?).
1. So I just did the Coup, chose "I came for Udina" (Renegade), let Renegade interrupt pass by (probably Garrus killing Kaidan, but uncomfirmed!!), and Kaidan rallied Shepard on his own "I'd better not regret this"
EDIT> hadn't played SP for AGES, it was so nice to see Kaidan again
2. Chose Paragon answer "you're making a mistake" > you've got a Paragon interrupt which i took, Shepard makes Garrus lower his weapon > "i'd better not regret this"
3. Chose Paragon answer "you're making a mistake" and let Paragon interrupt pass by > Kaidan rallies Shepard on his own "I'd better not reget this"
For all 3 options > > Renegade interrupt to kill Udina, if not, Kaidan kills Udina.

Still does not explain where that regional glitch came from or why our origin clients look different. But there will be no russian-speaking Warden Commanders ...What a relief, really...

Hey, nice! Glad you could make this work out without too much migraine!
You missed Doodle ex-Kaidaniting, apparently from too much Costa spam here.
If you ask me Beep should have been a bit easier on him about this, but who knows what's going on between those two most of the time.

Glad to hear that it's fixed! I find that the chats are helpful most of the time. The guys on the help lines are even nicer and they do go out of their way to make sure your problems are resolved.
as for Origin clients... it happened to me 2 days ago (still is). Normally it's in English for me, but since I am travelling, it's been giving me the local lanugages ... I believe origin picks up on your IP address and then changes the language.

Woot? If you mean the "This one is for Doodle." Costa pics, those were obvious jokes. I would've posted the pics anyway. Just mixed some story in the pics.
And Doodle removed the ex-Kaidanite sigs already. (Fortunately, he got rid of that Tali avatar too

Yeah, but I SAW those
I know it was for the jokes, but honestly, i myself was beginning to grow tired of that Costa pic quote (the sailor one). I felt Doodle was beginning to actually grow weary about this, but then i may be wrong.
It doesn't bother me anymore as it used to at first, but you used to do that to me too, a lot
Everytime someone here would say Costa was bothering him/her, someone would post a Costa pic right away on purpose. It used to make me a bit sad, as if Kaidan was somewhat betrayed. Even if this may sound overdramatic or ridiculous or exagerated, it doesn't mean that people here shouldn't take other Kaidainites' feelings into consideration.
I'll explain this for the zillioneth time, i don't care for Costa, i come here for the love of Kaidan, not for some Brazilian model. I don't have anything against him, and he deserves some credits, even if clearly not most of it.
Come to think of it, Doodle never explained why he disliked Costa so much, but then he never explains anything.
My only guess is maybe because it came from you?

Anyway, as far as my experiments with my renegade douche!Shep went, she managed to kill Kaidan by (lol I should be immune by now given how many times I killed Kaidan for the sake of SCIENCE but nooooo~):
-being a douche in Mars aka renegading him the first conversation in Mars
-not visiting him at all (all three times)
-being a douche when he asks for a truce about their Horizon issue
-(if "cheated") lying to him about "cheating"; he very politely asks you to leave
-killed Thane in ME2 (lol vents lol collector bugs); Kirrahe dead back in Virmire=not saving the salarian councilor (whether old councilor or new)
-during the coup scene: not telling your squadmates to stand down (paragon interrupt), picking the neutral option and not picking the persuade options on the left, using the renegade interrupt (shepard shoots), not using the renegade interrupt will make your other squaddie kill him however
-low reputation won't let you be able to pick the persuade options
>>giving the whiskey or not doesn't matter
As for the Javik fairy question, fans believed Protheans to have hidden wings like the Collectors, so one thing led to another...
As for Costa, is there really a need to put a trigger warning somewhere? <_<
