But kidding aside, my net is damn slow these days. Sometimes my posts don't show up for a very long time and when this happens regardless whether I press the submit button or not my posts double. Sorry, I have no ulterior motive whatsoever. Curious though, what did you think was my motive?

Ahah, it just seemed your douche!Shep had REALLY given some quite a lot amount of thinking as to how to get Kaidan killed  - but if she saved Kaidan in the end, then she can be all douchey she wants

@laikabaws > what do you mean by "trigger warning"? It's not specifically Costa, at least not that i know of. What i'm trying to explain is that for some people, it's just his very existence. Some people would rather Kaidan didn't have a RL model. Or they're annoyed because they feel as if others just like Kaidan for his looks and so on. I don't think people would "complain" about Costa if it was not a sensitive thing indeed. It is obvious that some Costa pics belong here, but as tempting as it may be to some Costa fans, let's just not make this a Costa thread, that's all.

Long post about Costa: Sorry the question wasn't directed specifically at you. That was why I was asking, because it seems the majority here is not fond of Costa, and while for you the pics are not "sensitive," based on others' reactions they do seem to be (because yeah preferences...so what should be done? hide in a link? trigger warning? PM Costa fans instead?).

And the amount of Kaidan pics I posted here outweighs the amount of Costa pics I posted, and the amount of purely Kaidan talk in the thread outweighs the Costa fawning, so this thread is far from a Costa thread. There are not that many pics of Costa to begin with, and because of the general reactions here, I posted only a select few (yes, a select few for you guys). Sorry if I hadn't been that selective. I never post Costa pics to infuriate anyone; I just thought it would make the few Costa fans here, particularly Beep happy (because he is very nice to me and politely acknowledges my posts; I wanted to "fawn" over some things with him). But then again it seems too much because posting about 4-5 pics of him would immediately incite "drama" and "complaining," even when I post Kaidan pics most of the time and even when the "superficial Costa body worship" happens once in a while.

And as Beep and I reiterated before, we love in-game Kaidan the most and none would live up to that "image" of him. However, he is a fictional character made by a variety of aspects. Sbarge his voice actor, Bioware writers, his animators, Kaidan's fashioned butt and personality; fawning over one aspect of him doesn't invalidate the existence and our appreciation for the other aspects. So that Sbarge vs. Costa thing is really cringe-worthy to me (if I do censor myself for posting Costa pics make this Sbarge vs. Costa topic a trigger warning for me please?). It's okay to say, "I like Sbarge more", but don't claim that Sbarge alone "makes" Kaidan. Sorry to say, but for me if someone says that Sbarge's voice acting "makes" Kaidan what he is, the very thing I picture in my mind is: "Wow, best of luck to your Sheps trying to romance and dry-hump a voice in-game" because like it or not that in-game pixels that we all love and praise as "handsome" was based on Costa. And for that basis alone, pics of Kaidan's facemodel, Costa, has a place in this thread (Kaidan's facemodel=last time I checked this is a Kaidan thread? Kaidan's facemodel>>insert to>>Kaidan thread? Where else should he be appreciated? The Ash thread?). And isn't the "superficial" praise of a model based on Kaidan as "superficial" as praising in-game Kaidan's butt or hotness? Just because we appreciate his body doesn't mean we don't appreciate Kaidan's personality.

There are lesser things to talk about Kaidan these days now that the game is officially over (the thread even lulls for hours sometimes), can't Kaidan's face-model appreciation have a tiny place? Face-model appreciation isn't against the rules either and is not as off-topic as some other topics posted here. Earlier when Kaidan's face model was a mystery, posting possible look-alikes and speculations about it were welcomed. Now that it's known, there's a weird backlash? Never in other videogames fandom I've been have this much a backlash on a character's facemodel. Surprising to say, other ME characters' facemodels are welcomed in their own threads (Miri=Yvonne, Shep=Vanderloo, etc.).  

But whatever, I'm done posting pics of him or discussing him for peace in this thread. I just feel weirdly guilty of "grossing" you guys out when all I wanted--my primary motivation for posting Costa pics was for possible Costa fans to be happy. Such an unnecessary burden it seems, so I'll totally rid myself of doing so. 

Edit: Also about the smugness of being a model, just because he wears a particular combination of clothing does not reflect on Costa's personality (superficiality? Judging a book by his cover?). He's just doing his job. Imagine you as a fashion person paying a model to model the clothes you made only for the model to refuse because "it makes him look smug or that it makes him look ridiculous?" I'd imagine you guys would be mad at that sort of model.

I really don't mind Costa, I feel bad when people start dissing him

I find it strange when some people express their dislike of Costa by saying "He cannot replace Kaidan" and then immediately go on to say Kaidan IS the voice actor... I am sorry but that sounds hypocritical

Hey, you know i agree and already knew most of what you wrote, right?
But thanks for taking the time to explain this, I take it as some sort of message to some other people out there who never post on this thread?

Cause honestly, i've never seen ANYONE here say that Kaidan is Sbarge.
Having fun over Costa's modeling stuff is just having fun about any modeling stuff (honestly, just open any fashion magazine, and you're in for the laughs).
I never felt anybody was making personal attacks on the guy. Or on Costa fans.
I've said before that everbody should be able to post anything (well apart from dead Kaidan pics, sorry).
I think we've always been good people to each other here, really.
I often feel you take back here some offensive stuff you've seen or read elsewhere though, while this thread is so peaceful all the time.
And of course, this thread is obviously far from being a Costa thread. Some pages might have looked like it though
I never ever thought nor said people should censor themselves. About that Costa thing, speaking for myself, i didn't mind being teased about this, even repeatedly, but on the long run, it could become tiresome and kind of sad or offensive, that's all.
But hey, this thread belongs to everyone, if i came to dislike what i'm seeing here so much, i'd go elsewhere, that's all.
