But thanks for taking the time to explain this, I take it as some sort of message to some other people out there who never post on this thread?

Cause honestly, i've never seen ANYONE here say that Kaidan is Sbarge.
Having fun over Costa's modeling stuff is just having fun about any modeling stuff (honestly, just open any fashion magazine, and you're in for the laughs).
I never felt anybody was making personal attacks on the guy. Or on Costa fans.
I've said before that everbody should be able to post anything (well apart from dead Kaidan pics, sorry).
I think we've always been good people to each other here, really.
I often feel you take back here some offensive stuff you've seen or read elsewhere though, while this thread is so peaceful all the time.
And of course, this thread is obviously far from being a Costa thread. Some pages might have looked like it though
I never ever thought nor said people should censor themselves. About that Costa thing, speaking for myself, i didn't mind being teased about this, even repeatedly, but on the long run, it could become tiresome and kind of sad or offensive, that's all.
But hey, this thread belongs to everyone, if i came to dislike what i'm seeing here so much, i'd go elsewhere, that's all. 

Ah, no Mimi I know you understand--the post wasn't directed at you, and you never said to censor stuff  I'm not going be specific, but there was Costa animosity in this thread and personal attacks on him to the point of making me want to censor myself. Maybe I care for him more than you do (because I was one of those posting Costa pics afterall) that's why I do remember? As much as the constant stream of Costa is offensive or sad to you guys (was like what you said a few pages only out of the 2000+ pages in this thread, but well...), the amount of wailing about Costa everytime someone posts a pic of him is as tiresome to me as well.
 
As for the dead Kaidan, I owe you an explanation for that but...I'm too err...disenchanted to relive all of it again and try to explain myself, but I do respect and understand that you don't like it, so sorry.

Edit: And err...I did saw a Sbarge superiority thing somewhere here...
And and...most of my Costa-related heartbreak is related or found here, sad to say...(no other threads ever discuss Costa and tumblr has quieted down with the Costa thing--died down relatively fast).

He’s generally thought of as ‘the nice guy’, but given a situation where he himself had gotten over his distrust from ME2 and felt like he reconciled with Shepard in the early parts of ME3, how do you think he’d react to Shepard turning him down when he asks to rejoin her on the Normandy? For the sake of the argument, let’s also say that Shepard may have said something like she can only take someone who she trusts to have her back implicitly.

Kaidan’s carrying a bit of bitterness about it, extending to the rest of the Normandy crew. Despite this, though, I think he’d try to continue reconciling. Do either of these things seem at all off?

(There’s also a possible undercurrent of stronger feelings for Shepard, but I don’t think he’s explored that so neither have I.)

First of all, Kaidan IS nice;)

I don't think there is a problem there, if Shepard sends Kaidan to Hackett, he / she probably just thought it would be safer that way, I mean, Normandy missions are dangerous stuff, and Kaidan would understand too

Kaidan has residual worries, but that is normal, however, he does not seem to exhibit doubt on Shepard personally but instead questioning the loyalty about other people, notably ex-Cerberus scientists, this also stems from the fact that he cares for Shepard and does not want him / her to be hurt... in other words, Kaidan is protective of Shepard

I think Kaidan feels a little guilty for behaving the way he did on Horizon and the fact that Cerberus used Shepard

@lilitheris My personal take on Kaidan only, if that happens is he'll take it as it is. He is an honorable sort, and he wouldn't argue (because that worked especially well in Horizon) about trust in terms of Shepard's POV. I guess he'll try to convince her through action. As for bitterness, I guess he'll be bitter not on anyone else but himself, and strive to make it right (continue to reconcile)--but only if Shepard allows it.

I think he would probably be taken aback.  Hurt.  It might sting a little.  But I'm sure he would understand where Shepard was coming from and be professional about it because he has always been first and foremost an alliance soldier.

That being said, I think Shepard would also move past the ME2 events and believe given the state of things in ME3 feel she/he could trust Kaidan to have her/his back and do the right thing.

And as for all the Costa/Sbarge drama, I only read back a few pages so I didn't see it all, but this is my opinion on things:  This is a Kaidan thread first.  Of course other things get mentioned time to time, but it is ultimately about Kaidan and our love of that character.  It is perfectly acceptable for there to be no posts for hours.  It happens to all the other LI threads and they are still alive and kicking.  Don't fret so much.

That's just my opinion though, no need to go spreading it around.

Let’s say she’s pretty clear that she’s dismissing him specifically because she doesn’t trust him (yet, anyway) She’s a little temperamental, but not generally a renegadey type.

So okay okay, I'll explain and I feel kind of stupid for doing it. When I posted that picture, I honestly thought he was modeled like that through Xnalara or something (forgotten all about that killing thing I watched only once on youtube; I haven't done that 8-time killling spree yet). It was only when I posted that picture that I realized, oh wow it's him dying, but I kept the modelling comment (despite the I made myself sad edit) to gauge whether you guys would assume the same thing as I did, and didn't realize it would hurt some of you. Bad joke, I was too sleepy to realize it, sorry.

@Kaidan Fan: Yeah, it's a Kaidan thread, but it isn't off-topic or weird to talk about an aspect of Kaidan, whether it be his voice or his facemodel. These things make up Kaidan and are related to him, thus are a viable Kaidan topic. I don't care that much if it's a silent thread though--just emphasizing it's a viable topic to talk about when there's nothing to talk about. :happy:

I'd say he'd accept that first of all as an Alliance soldier (though i never understood what the exact chain of commandement was in ME3 ).
I think he'd say that, but also, he would say it's fair since he failed to trust Shepard about Cerberus before.
I don't think he would be bitter, but he would try to prove Shepard wrong.

I don't think there is a reason why Shepard would'nt trust Kaidan... if anything, Shepard is angry at Kaidan for cutting ties...but I think Commander Shepard should be more forgiving and magnanimous than that, especially a paragon one

Well I tend to pick Renegade by default, but those Paragon dialogues were too sweet indeed... 
Plus femShep sounds so angry "How can you compare me to him?" as if she wanted to tear Kaidan's head off all of a sudden
