when i saw i was 25/27 i was like omg i missed one, looked it up, and turns out the "mission" after the evac counts towards it... Lol...

That unwavering achievement is so well placed. I've always thought bioware did a great job with where the "last achievements" are awarded. The long service medal achievement made me tear up. Got it just as I jumped into the synthesis beam. It was so sad.

This insanity playthrough is ready for Leviathan (if a achievement requires insanity)

if not i'll drop the difficaulty

Team Milkway had to be temporarily sidelined this week on account of this:  social.bioware.com/forums/forum/1/topic/325/index/7625879/2400#13819092...and will probably continue to be sidelined this weekend.  With Leviathan coming out on Tuesday and PAX Prime next weekend, I'd really like to wrap things up (for now) with "If It Meant Living" this weekend.  The last chapter is written and just needs editing, but I also need to get the eBook put together and take care of some other things.  So yeah, moving publication up to Monday (and maybe even Sunday).

But I'm definitely itching to get back to it; in addition to the awesomeness of Kaidan AND Ashley, together, I actually really like the Shepard in that playthrough - and maybe Miss Graceyn Shepard can finally make a little room in my head for this one too .

I'm just beginning to digest that mega-schedule - but we're definitely going to try to make the Bioware writing, voice acting and development panels.  On the larger schedule, some of the overarching "Where are games going?" panels like from PC Gamer and MMORPG.com look interesting.  My husband is a serious old-school gamer, so we may hit some of the RPG-related panels and such.

But mostly, we are just going to totally geek out, wander around the floors, take pictures, and probably buy way too much loot .  I'll definitely post here the week after on how it was, and I also plan to do a Journal on my Deviant Art page, possibly with pictures .

Can I just say that, once we got rid of horrid green Kaidan, the screencaps posted on the last page were very, very nice .  I'll just add this one to it:

I didn't like how they had the achievement pop up when you jumped in the beam. Reminded me I was playing a game where in that moment I just wanted to watch what was happening.

Not a problem, just charge and nova and repeat, same with waves of phantoms and troopers, have to be fast though, fire gets too hot, charge from one target to another which is far away

i have no possible idea

god I wish there were more male s/s relationships in ME.. I may tag along with Jack, as it fits with the whole bad boy/ destructive attitude I'm trying to RP right now.

I also feel like actually playing renegade (my first REAL renegade character) is refreshing, so maybe a thing on the side isn't so bad either.

ME is a little fun again.

this weekend I need to get some MP in to get my characters back up to 20 - promoted all 6 for the challenge, now I'm stuck with levelling them up all over again!

Btw, I must have not been paying attention and missed the initial reason for the green Kaidan - but I love the Seth Green pun

For me it just really hit home what I had accomplished as a player and that it was the end of the journey. Damn, I start getting teary eyed just thinking about it

...That look close enough to Shepard & Kaidan for me to believe it is them.  I know that you're not a mShenko fan Nrieh, you play Shenko with a FemShep thus have little to no desire to see Sheploo in a relationship with Kaidan.  However, I do and there is room for both groups here.

Thank you @dstrawberrygirl, but at this point it's not so bad, mostly technical stuff; the real pushing has been for the last month, as I poured over the last four chapters over and over again, making sure everything  was covered, consistent, tied together, made sense, was plausible in the ME universe, took the characters where "I" wanted them to be...and of course, evoked emotions :innocent:.

I am super excited for PAX - it's the first Con I will have gone to since DragonCon at least 8 years ago, when I could barely call myself a gamer.

You mean, "Who would Shepard cheat on Kaidan with?"     My answer: No one. 

What makes the mShenko romance so wonderful in ME3 is that they first became great friends in ME1, maybe even a little unrequited love (because of game mechanics), leading into the confrontation in ME2, and finally the reunion and blossoming love in ME3. 

Andrew said it better in this post. That is what makes the mShenko romance so wonderful yet tragic and bittersweet.

Yes I agree on this one - however, it was quite sweet on second playthrough I got the Veteran award for 5k kills as I shot Marauder Shields. If I had to get a medal for anyone, it was for him.

Thought for the evening: Multiplayer + wine = awesome!  Though I am a good ninja and quit before I had too much because Under Siege was on and I needed to see Casey "Simple Cook" Rybak in a knife fight with Tommy Lee Jones.

I need to get my author head on and work on my next one shot story for one of my MP characters. I'm thinking one of my stories will definitely have a Kaidan link, a biotic character who was part of his squad...

For me the achievement placement I liked most in ME was at the end in ME2 during my first run of the SM "No One Gets Left Behind"  I didn't know if everyone had made it until that moment and seeing it combined with "Against All Odds" and "Long Service Medal" just gave me this amazing feeling inside as the music was playing and the Normandy flew off from the exploding base. *happy sigh* Those were good times.

That's hilarious! And I love how everyone's giving Kaiden a dirty look. I also love that Kaiden's in some Renegade Red, especially becuase that phrasing mirrors ReneShep's response to a love triangle as well.
