@Phoenix_Fyre Hmm this douche-y F!Shep of mine is also earthborn and did the Torfan thing. For me, Kaidan's perspective of what Shep did is that it wouldn't be the way he'd do things, but he'd give her the benefit of doubt to not judge her for it because he wasn't exactly there. He'd also figure that maybe it was the last thing Shepard wanted to do and maybe the situation forced her hand, which isn't exactly true for this Shep sad to say

As for Virmire, my Sheps (all let him live) regardless of background and psyche profile:
-he was assigned to guard the bomb because TECH
-Ash was assigned with the salarians (because more combative and an exercise to lead aliens)
-Sheps went back for him because the bomb has to go off at any cost (even if my Sheploo romanced Ash)
-Kaidan is a superior officer
-Kaidan has a rare biotic gift as an L2, Ash's gun skills can be learned
>>So practicality and mission priority was the basis of the Virmire choice for them. Romance may subconsciously have an additive effect, but it changes nothing. My paragons might get guilty though, my main other renegade would be, "oh, it's the practical choice", and my douche renegade would be, "selfish? Who cares? :P"
So it depends on characterization again

This is mighty sad and beautiful at the same time though

:crying:
