Yeah? I thought it was something triggered in-game from the new DLC. So you mean this is more marketing stuff than gameplay stuff? EDIT> as if, let's say you complete the first mission, you receive a message on your smartphone that links to this blog entry. (I don't have an iPhone).

There seems to be a good amount of banter from him. I took James too and the banter seems good. EDI was the other good choice for maximizing banter I think. Anybody take her? Does she talk much? Does it seem Kaidan talks more? I was afraid to take her since she has a bigger part in the beginning. Didn't want to tempt fate.

Excellent! This is what I wanted to know. If I can get more Kaidan, I'm in for the DLC.
I was afraid that it would be like LotSB. While a great DLC, the other squadmate you take is silent through it.
Does Garrus talk over Kaidan in the DLC? I prefer taking my brother in arms, but not at the expense of him stealing Kaidan's lines.

While SOME of us wait for Leviathan, have an update on Team Milky Way!
I finished Menae last night. First off, at this point this isn't "playable", as in, you can't advance the storyline. I'm hopeful that is because certain squad members are "required" at this early point, and going forward the missions that don't require a certain character will be completable with them.
The cut scenes "work", more or less, and you can complete the mini-objectives (repair the satellite, clear the airfield), but when you are done, the gates back into the camp won't lower for you. Bummer, and I can only assume it's some bug triggered by the squad change.
So, I pretty much did every objective twice, lol. And now, a few awesome screenshots:

Now, once I acquired Garrus, I WAS able to take Kaidan on the trek to get Victus (I knew I was going to need Garrus there, so didn't even try Ash as well). All the conversations between Vega and Garrus along the way? Happened anyway, just dialogue in the air. (Though Kaidan did 'grunt' when we dropped off a ledge
.) And when you get to Victus and have the extended dialogue/cut scenes, Kaidan kind of bugged out and could be seen "walking" perpetually in the corner of the screen. But it worked, completed successfully, and Garrus and I returned to the Normandy.
So, Kaidan versus Brute on Menae, brought to you courtesy of Team Milky Way:
