I have no interest in the CE. Has some to do with Kaidan, I guess.

From my perspective, it seems that marketing may be under the delusion that the only people playing M rated video games are boys age 8-17?

Actually, neither I nor my husband use the ID we use to download the extras. There are no games they can get access to. But then we're on the 360.
So, they don't know who's lived or died from our data. Unless they datamine all accounts on the machine. Which has got to be wrong.

I'm not buying anything without seeing it first....I want the CE...with all my heart (because of the book and all that) but I'm trying to be objetive...I don't want to buy a game just because I might like the extra content...I buy games because I like the content that the CD has.
I'm always that way, and till I see that this game worths my money I'll buy it, if not...I'll probably get it later (when it costs the same that ME2 costs today LOL), because the same thing happened me before (with DA2...a totally deception for me...and the money that I have to work hard to get money, you all know that I'm a digital artist, so sometimes I have food to eat and most of the time I have to go to my mom's house to eat something (I'm pretty sure that my mom hates me now XD!) LOL) so yeah...that's why I'm very reluctant to buy the CE without seeing at least a gameplay or a good spoiler.

I think I will just admit to having a dysfunctional relationship with BioWare. Even if they screw up one of my favorite characters, beat me and abuse my trust, I will still come crawling back. BECAUSE. I. CAN'T. STOP.
You're not on XBL? I can only log into this site and post under my XBL gamertag. Otherwise I would be EmbersOfAmber like I am everywhere else. For people on Live, I think it would be easy for BW to get stats and stuff through the Cerberus network. It also logs me in everytime I play DA2. I would thing it easy for them to gather our info....Sialater wrote...

I'm sorry to everyone who is displeased.
Obviously, there are things that bug me in DA2 and ME2, but I guess I've just decided to roll with the punches as long as I can. Clearly, there is no way everyone is going to be happy with ME3. There are too many passionate fans for that, and too many differing opinions. Some of the fans are likely going to be screwed with choices/non-choices in ME3, and selfishly, I just really hope it isn't the Kaidan/Ash fans getting dumped on because the "numbers" say it's the least devisive path for the company to take.
The next few months are going to be tough for us as Kaidan fans, I think. Especially if BW keep playing everything close to the chest and don't throw us a few crumbs to bolster optimism.
We probably need some sort of therapy.Time4Tiddy wrote...

I enjoyed ME2 as well. After I got over my extreme hatred for most of itTeenZombie wrote...

I am oddly optimistic about ME3, and have preordered the CE already. Despite how grumpy I was about Kaidan and Ashley's role in ME2, and my dislike of the main plot and how little roleplaying I was allowed...it's a fun game. It's well made, has high production value, and while I would not classify it as an RPG, it is my favorite third person shooter ever (I don't usually play shooters, so this was easy).
I feel kind of the opposite about DA2...I adore the characters, liked the story up until the end...but the rest...flames, FLAMES ON THE SIDE OF MY FACE
Ahem. So I'm fairly sure that I will enjoy ME3, based how I felt about ME2. Kaidan being back on my team is just a great big bonus.

How many people in this thread are ladies? Most? Are male fans of the Kaidan romance (like me) unusual?
Just curious.

just incase im NOT late to the party againmacwalterslives@silentkittyk Many wondered why Liara was so distant in #ME2, then in LoTSB we found out why. Imagine what #ME3 might mean for Kaidan & Ash.
