It looks like Kaidan so far gets the most lines if you take EDI.

If you want to take a different squad member, so far James gives Kaidan the most banter for the first mission, and Garrus is better for the second and third ones.

Javik, Liara, and Tali haven't been done yet. (I think she stopped with EDI on the second mission for tonight, so we still don't have her numbers for that one either.)

Just now getting to playing this. Is it just me or are the PC character face models super high HD compared to what's 'normal' for ME3?

Can already tell from the first scene this is going to be good!

In comparison with Garrus, James, and EDI, EDI is the best person to bring in the 1st and 2nd mission, if you're all about banter count. If you want Kaidan hacking in the first mission though, bring James (Garrus too, but he hogs more important banter than James, not necessarily hogging banter count). HOWEVER, bringing James results in an invicible Kaidan in one cutscene (telling Shepard to  "come on" in the reception cutscene) so pick your poison~

Thanks for following it~ I do the banter tally process thing for each mission, so it's a lot of meticulous yet fun work haha~ You get Javik mentioning Shep and Kaidan (Kaidan must be a locked-in romance by then) after Prioirity: Horizon. See General Notes#5 in the guide and After Priority: Horizon in the Normandy Triggers subsection for more info. For its full transcription, see Normandy Banter transcription After Priority: Horizon. It's been very helpful ! I thought after 1352435 playthroughs I would have found all the Kaidan banter, but nope, found at least 4-5 extra scenes and variations of other lines I miss previously. Thanks for the note about Javik, it's my favorite line from him naturally .

*if not for the 6 romance-specific lines, Kaidan would only have 7 lines compared to Garrus' 9.

Tsk tsk, such a slim lead~ So, we'll see how much Garrus' banter fares with the others then. Will experiment with James next as per request.

Notes: Kaidan seems to get the more important banters and cutscenes with James than with Garrus. However, James and Garrus trumps Kaidan's banter because they hog banter during the repairing the door controls with the drone thing.

I used Javik on my first playthrough, if i remember correctly, the banter is pretty even.
Seeing those awesome Dragoncon pics made me regret refusing my friend for the ticket to see it (if only i wasn't on vacation)

No problem  I guess that's also the reason. I remember Dusty saying in the Steve thread that voice actors are paid for 150 lines each, from that reason, it can be deduced that EDI's lines in battle are shortened this way~

 Just woke up after a crazy day of Dragon*Con. I met Raphael Sbarge! XD

He was super sweet and what I feared came to pass. I got totally weak at the knees and tongue tied and kind of stammered out a few things I had memorized but completely forgot the majority of what I wanted to say to him. I got him to sign my Mass Effect 3 artbook on Kaidan's page. Hey kind of gave me a half hug for a couple of pictures and I just about died of happiness when he did.  

Then I realized that the woman who sat next to him totally had to be the wonderful Jacqui, his agent (at least I think that's her job title), who is responsible for maintaining his blog and for booking him at Dragon*Con in the first place. She liked to post Sbarge related events in these threads so we could see them.

She says hi and told me that she couldn't post in the forums anymore because of the whole needing to register your game to post thing. She hasn't played ME3 yet so can't do that, but she told me she still reads the posts.

After I recognized Jacqui, Sbarge gave me a free photo from his table that he then proceeded signed. It's of Sheploo but I was way too happy and dazed to ask him for a Kaidan pic instead, especially when he was just giving it to me. Though honestly when he asked me if I wanted a photo I thought he was asking me to buy it and was about to do so just because he asked.

I went to the Once Upon A Time panel and skipped the Mass Effect one so I could get a better seat so I missed it when he dropped by there, but I have video of it all besides one question answered by someone who wasn't Sbarge (I can't remember who right now) that I missed while trying to lower the brightness on my camera. It's really bad quality video because my camera is really cheap and has no autofocus so it's shaky, the lights were so bright that everybody's faces are kind of blurry, my arm lists to the side sometimes and focuses on the back of someone's head instead, and the audio is of questionable quality, but I have it. I'll probably upload it within the next few days if I can figure out how. I've never done it before but I figureit can't be too hard.

Yesterday I also met Rana, the facemodel for Samara and got her to sign my artbook, though since it was the ME3 one I couldn't get her to sign her concept art, and took some pictures with her. She was in her Samara cosplay and it was really cool because I didn't even know she was there. I took pictures with a guy who was either cosplaying Kaidan or liked the generic Alliance Soldier armor and it was really cool.

I also met Captain William Shepherd who was commander of the first crew on the International Space Station and got him to sign my artbook because it seemed apprpriate that he do so.

Pics and videos will be uploaded within the week. I'm off to Dragon*Con again now, see you guys later.

Wow! I'm so excited for you! I think the same would have happened to me. Seeing that guy grin would just turn me into a big puddle of fangirl goo. But it's so cool that Jacqui was there and that she reads the thread (ignoring the fact that she might be disturbed/horrified by some of it...). Anyway, enjoy Dragoncon! Can't wait to see your pictures and vids!
