Saw this BiowareConfession and it made me think of Mimi.    Femshep's awkwardness around emotional people made it easier for me to relate to the character.

Ahah honestly, i agree, i love that she's rather bad with people, and every chance i get to let her be a complete sociopath but without the burden of moral issues, i take it. It all began with "You're Alliance soldiers. Act like it."  

EDIT> in other news, almost lured husband today in playing ME (Him > how many games are there in the series?,  Me > just one.), but failed, he ended up playing Dead Space instead (close enough).

You can find the latest numbers here.

EDI has almost no dialogue (which means that Kaidan gets a lot), but if you don't like her tagging along, it looks like James is best for the first mission, then Garrus for the second and third.

Javik, Liara, and Tali haven't been checked yet, unfortunately.

Indeed, I just started using him on my 3rd ME playthrough and so far he's great. I felt bad when I snapped at him on Mars, felt bad when I turned down his romantic requests, and actually enjoy having him around despite his massive power cooldowns.

Saturday is in two parts because I fiddled with the camera trying to make it look better and stopped the camera from recording, there's a jump in part 1 because I paused it at first to do this. Unfortunately my cheap camera couldn't get anything better.

It should be a fun ride, though Vega and him are two different people. Almost all of us like Ashley as well too though, but Kaidan wins out most times on Virmire for a good portion of us.

He just wasn't bland anymore, in the first one he has like no personality apart from this strange borderline whineyness, now he is fleshed out with emotions and doesn't feel like he relies on Shepard.

Look at Ashley for example, arguably she hasn't matured from the events of ME1, whereas Kaidan has. Ashley just acts like an overgrown child for most of the game, Kaidan looks like he can handle himself and make his own decisions without relying on Shepard. I felt he had that same strength in ME1, though it wasn't allowed to shine while he was with Shepard. That might be me speaking through rose-tinted glasses. He definitely has matured throughout the series and developed into a stronger person who is more sure of himself and his decisions. It's nice to see character development and I'm glad he's developed in a way that appeals to you. I hope you have a great experience for the rest of the game as well.

About the videos. There's a weird green bar in them that wasn't there in the original. Is there anyway to fix that, or is it doomed to greenness forever?
