Cold and dark? Not really. Mid-Spring - September is really warm or hot and sunny.
Only winter is the dark and cold one. Last time I checked, it's still September.

I mean that from my experience, the harder you try to find someone, the likelier you fail. Also, shyness can be pretty sexy, just ask Kaidan

Yup. All boxes are checked. But as you can see here, there's no new pics.
And the avatar selection screen has only those four old pics.

Also note that it took Kaidan years to get BroShep.
I don't wanna wait that long.

Also, nobody would want a situation like which you have presented us. How can the other person be happy if you're not interested in him/her?

@Beep > sorry can't help with your avatar pb  it's just totally unreliable and there is not exact process. I had to wait for several hours last time for the pics to show in that avatar select menu.
Just flush anything that's irrelevant, and start afresh when in doubt.

I know exactly what you mean!  I created a new character in ME1 for a new playthrough (Vanguard this time) and was like "WILL ROMANCE SOMEBODY ELSE" - then BAM - there he is in the very first cutscene next to Joker in the cockpit.  /sigh

My 'Main' save before ME3 was mShep romancing Liara from 1 and 2.
But come ME3 and Kaidan avaliable for S/S I load up my no romance shepard and that basically became my main save lol I still haven't played my original main save yet because I know I'd end up dumping Liara and romancing Kaidan. 
But with my femshep saves I just couldn't romance anyone but Kaidan. I think she may have got sidetracked on one playthough... blame Jacob's bum in that tight 'armour' he used to wear. 
But would never import that save into ME3 lol

I remember how my heart shrunk when i first saw Kaidan in ME2...
Seeing him acting so manly and "in charge" was painful, this was Kaidan, but in a world where Shepard didn't exist anymore. 

Plus i already knew we wouldn't hook up during that game. "Fortunately", ME3 was already out at that time.

I played ME2 when it first came out and didn't know if he would be in ME3! After Horizon my Shep was like, no come back! What just happened? Why isn't kaidan on board the Normandy with me? Then that email 

But then ME3 more than made up for it, well untill the end where my Shep is breathing underneath some rubble and Kaidan is on the Normandy
